Narasimhaiah in The Function of Criticism in India notes, “Nehru’s Autobiography is probably the greatest of its kind written or translated in English.” Perhaps the same words can be repeated about the book, Sri Aurobindo – a Biography and a History by K R Srinivasa Iyengar that few have managed to read from cover to cover.
