I have my criticisms and reservations about the book, but certainly this is not one that even entered my imagination. I fear that one of the tragic verdicts of the future on this entire discussion - and I can guarantee that many of these words we are sharing here and their author's names will one day appear and be critiqued in some sociology of the "Sri Aurobindo movement" in the early 21st century (perhaps Robert Minor is even now sharpening his pen for this task) - will be that of the poverty of reading skills displayed by the disciples of the most eloquent spiritual personality of all time. On the question of partiality of representation, there is nothing extraordinary about that. This is the human condition and we are expected to grow from partiality to integrality... DB]
