Why don’t we hear straight from the horse's mouth?

What is common between the Satyam swindle and the Heehs imbroglio? It is subterfuge spanning over a period of several years. It is quite strange that Heehs has not come out with his version of the story so far. When others plead on behalf of him they do so through their own lenses. But, why don’t we hear straight from the horse's mouth?

The Lives of Sri Aurobindo, as the title suggests, is a biography of the founder of the Ashram of which the author is a member. It is the result of several years of research and rumination and many of its themes are drawn from books and articles published earlier. Although it has been claimed that the book is written with the academic community in mind, the preface, instead of being neutral, wears a confrontationist stance. The question of free speech is just a small example of scores of political issues that need to be debated closely and understood. [TNM]
