Talk politics

Our reverence for Sri Aurobindo translates for many to an unhealthy disregard for Gandhi, Nehru, Ambedkar et al. and the political principles they upheld. Not being enamored of philanthropy, most of us turn insensitive towards human misery and exploitation. An idealized view of the India Reborn makes us indifferent of the present political realities of the country and the complexity of our Constitutional provisions. Lack of sensitizing of contemporary political concerns of the country leaves most of us unaware of subtle political imperatives. A drastic reorientation is, therefore, needed in order to make good and responsible citizens of us. [TNM]
