Sri Aurobindo Society's official stand

Sri Aurobindo Society was a lead player in the war over Auroville but it has mostly been silent in the Heehs imbroglio. Having a large network of Centres and devotees, not to publicize its position from time to time is really surprising. Now that a section of the Ashram inmates are seeking to unseat the current trustees, the Society must come forward with its official stand.

Lack of credible institutions has been a major cause of exacerbation of the present conflict. Individual voices are generally camouflaged by the institution and turn impersonal thus facilitating negotiations. [TNM]
