Ideological defeat

Heehs imbroglio is now three years old and, being our first major controversy of the cyber-era, has been debated extensively. Initially, the attempt was to depict the protest in an unidimensional fashion. That it is the handiwork of a handful of disgruntled and power-hungry inmates oust to takeover the Ashram and promulgate a new religion. The "ringleaders" were targeted personally and choicest prose was pressed into service to sustain an orchestrated vilification campaign. Ranade, who is considered the brain behind the Court-cases through his friends, continues to attract much wrath on this score. Unsubstantiated allegations of financial bungling against him do the rounds to discredit him.

Without any first hand knowledge of his alleged involvement in questionable business deals and overlooking them temporarily, it can surely be affirmed that his heroic role in the Heehs imbroglio can't be discounted. Even his detractors will concur with this, although, the word "heroic" will provoke a fresh bout of scorn. Be that as it may, Heehs hounds have not been able to straightjacket the whole resistance within the convenient term of "Fundamentalism."

This ideological defeat is a matter of considerable glee for us. The latest proposal by Miovic and endorsed by Seidlitz for revision of the book clearly zeroes on the crux of the matter. That it is Heehs' misadventure, and not Ranade's ambition, that is at the root of this unfortunate conflict. Breakdown of all internal institutional bulwark as regards checks and balances within the Ashram has given rise to this situation. Hence, it is not unusual to hope that order can be restored and accountability established by even minor tweaking of sensitive positions. [TNM55]

  1. Shraddhalu Ranade is outdated and belongs to the past, my friend.
The new "Hero" of this saga who has suddenly and mysteriously surfaced ever since Sraddhalu Ranade went underground is Prof. Kamal Das. Prof. KD is now spearheading this campaign and has taken over the charge of all public propaganda and affairs. His detailed knowledge of all kinds of details is startling and indicates a unique capacity of acquiring large amounts of data in an incredibly short span of time, something akin to the workings of Artificial Intelligence.

  2. Tusar babu,
    You say that:
"Ranade, who is considered the brain behind the Court-cases through his friends, continues to attract much wrath on this score. Unsubstantiated allegations of financial bungling against him do the rounds to discredit him."

These are not unsubstantiated allegations, sir!!!
Please see with your own eyes what The Tribune has reported: http://tinyurl.com/sraddhaluranadefunding
This is not road-side gossip around the ashram or outside the ashram dining hall.
This is what the CBI and Vigilance Department are stating. Please read:
"According to sources in the Vigilance Department, the vigilance wing got complaints that some officers of the Income Tax Department, Chandigarh, had been forcing businessmen in Ludhiana as well as in northern region to deposit huge sums of money in a private trust called ‘Mother India Fund’."
And who is at the back of this extortion racket in the name of the 'Mother India Fund' and Agni Productions, sir?
None other than Sraddhalu Ranade. You may see the website above for more details.
Sraddhalu Ranade has since then evidently tried to clear his trails since his nefarious activities and connections were discovered, by concealing the links between the 'Mother India Fund' and his Agni Productions activity and replacing it with his Dipti Trust. But some trails still linger on. See: http://tinyurl.com/whereisraddhaluranade. How is a full-time ashramite currently in a private business??? Interesting, no!
    Also see: http://whois.domaintools.com/agnitv.org
So you see, no unsubstantiated allegations here. Pure verifiable facts.
And nobody needs to discredit him because he already stands discredited. Isn't it ironical that today Sraddhalu Ranade is the biggest victim of the blame game that he himself started?
