Within the span of a couple of months, Hazare has turned from a hot cake to a hot potato. Hisar misadventure and Kashmir foot in the mouth has put his team on the spot. Hare brained constitutional reforms are being demanded by them without assessing their overall implications. Himself unelected, Hazare's disdain for elected representatives is a dangerous Fascist tendency and recipe for dictatorship.
Savitri Era Party maintains that the proposed Lokpal will disturb the time-tested balance between the top Constitutional authorities and hence opposes the Bill. It also supports the CEC view that Right to Recall is unworkable. Hazare, better, should bring in honest people into electoral politics who can be instrumental in transforming the existing incentive paradigms. [TNM55]
