Plays and movies have the unenviable task of translating philosophy into concrete human drama. They have to have a careful eye for blending right doses of nine rasas to entertain successfully. Highlighting good against a contrast is a challenge. Besides sub-texts are a minefield.

With seventy long years of experience in life in diverse circumstances, I don't claim to have any settled views. Postmodernism gifted me that perspective and hence I don't recommend to take The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings as self-evident truth. Worshipping them is constant.

Before Camus resurrecting Sisyphus, Schiller had invoked Tantalus as if they are the warp and woof of human condition. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, by contrast, expect higher consciousness transforming infirmities. Their own Messianic role, however, is a crucial element. Take it...

Mohapatra Nilamani Sahoo ମହାପାତ୍ର ନୀଳମଣି ସାହୁ (22 December 1926–25 June 2016) is a respected name in Odia literature. He was also an ardent devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as well as a perceptive student of their philosophy, yoga, and Integral education throughout his life.

Savitri Era Party (2007) is against AAP, BJP, CJP, & the Congress for the simple reason that they lack ideology and ethics. Many are clamouring that economic issues are fundamental but the philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo teaches that deeper evolutionary causes are there.

Just remembered that, I had watched a movie called Melody at Gadag, while touring Karnataka in 2015. Couldn't understand the dialogue but music and picturisation was nice. Rajesh Krishnan was the lead actor and playback singer whose real-life was depicted.

Without framing it as before or after, Sri Aurobindo would offer an Integral view of consciousness, around the same time.

After five years of his famous Uttarpara speech Sri Aurobindo started publishing his most ambitious book in a serial form in the Arya monthly magazine. Apart from The Life Divine a few others like The Synthesis of Yoga, The Secret of the Veda, & The Human Cycle were also started.

Savitri Era Party expects people to be conscious and proactive, instead of being used as herds by different political parties and religious or cultural organisations. Liberty is futile without agency. Educated people not being able to appreciate Sri Aurobindo is a colossal error.

Absolutely amazing that highly politically-conscious intellectuals are eager to put their money with fly-by-night operators in search of quick-fix solutions. Like carnivals, anarchist tendencies have their own attraction, but the costs may be quite considerable. Restraint needed. 

Mamata Banerjee can be said to be the most experienced politician in the country today. Those who have seen her at every protest as an irreverent voice know how arduous has been her long journey. Her popularity is still intact and can propel her to the logical slot at the Centre.

I understand your sentiment but she still commands 40 percent vote share. I was hinting at a possible leading role for her at the Centre since there is a vacuum in the opposition space. Whatever her shortcomings, there is no doubt that she is a seasoned leader with Left leanings.

That seems to be obvious but may be a blessings in disguise too. Not many people have a national recognition or appeal today, but she can generate instant following on several fronts. Muslims, women, workers, farmers, and far too many far-flung constituents can kick her upstairs.

Like Vastu, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo value balance and harmony. That doesn't mean they rule out upheavals but take them as a means for achieving the greater good. Thus, aspiration for concord and not anarchy is important. But that shouldn't be a pretext for dumbing down people.

Sri Aurobindo predicted #WorldUnion as a part of #FiveDreamsManifesto, but his followers generally talk about it in an abstract manner. Politics involves ground, and with this aim in view, I had started Savitri Era Party in 2007 so that this evolutionary possibility takes shape.

As Director of Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF), I have been spreading the message of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo since 2005. No other person or institution is involved with this activity, spanning over two decades. I have not received any funding or sponsorship, from any source.

Each person has a unique trajectory in life and accordingly carries a particular understanding of it. Commenting on the behaviour of other persons or generalising interpersonal situations, therefore, is prone to error. From the spiritual perspective, each one is playing his role.

With Sputnik, space age began two years after I was born and Yuri Gagarin became the first space traveller in another four years. Those were the times and Nehru was not the only person for advocating scientific temper. Defending Modernity, therefore, is an ongoing political task.

Integral education is not about schools and colleges alone. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo represent lifelong learning. Physical world survives due to high degree of economy, adaptation, and resilience. Our different faculties should imbibe similar capabilities on a continuous basis.

One handle lamented that her parents didn't teach her agency. Then the story took a new turn everyday. Since evidence was tampered with generously her photographs were tampered with with renewed glee. She has been consigned to flames but now it's difficult to know how she looked!

I would have retired in 2016 but took VRS from PNB in 2000 and started Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF) in 2005 for spreading the message of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Realising their broader relevance, later, I launched Savitri Era Religion (2006) and Savitri Era Party (2007).

Observing that Hindutva bandwagon is trying to appropriate Sri Aurobindo, I have been endeavoring to give the legacy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo a distinct identity and orientation. Tending two dozen allied blogs apart from this handle keeps me busy and gives much satisfaction.

Web exposes to such multifarious streams that it's difficult for anyone to choose or select. Further, books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are not easy to read. Hence Savitri Era Religion makes it more accessible through worshipping them as the Supreme plus devotion and surrender.

Since 1991, we were given to understand that thanks to LPG, India is on a continuous growth-path. But after thirty five years, it's being indicated that the LPG crisis is only the tip of an iceberg. So, the free-Market route has no surety. Then, why blame Socialism day and night?

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo provide the most advanced philosophical formulation propelled by their own spiritual powers. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine, who are always present in their three poises: individual, universal, and transcendent, is what's expected of us all.

Once I read that minor latest incidents cause more sorrow than major past tragedies. Similarly, while current happenings trigger outrage or analysis, tons of despicable measures sedimented under the garb of tradition, religion, food, or even medicine safely continue their regime.

Another secret of happiness is marketing. Directly or indirectly, it puts you in a relationship with the other. Any kind of advocacy imparts a sense of superiority and signals ethics. This accrues from almost nothing. That's why so many are avidly pursuing SM universities career.

I was in college from 1971 to 1976, and Bollywood was a parallel college. Plays of Vijay Tendulkar and others also provided intellectual stimulation. Political situation in the country was extremely volatile. However, many intellectuals in Odisha used to recommend Sri Aurobindo.

Although Sri Aurobindo was involved in various political activities of his time and commented on diverse subjects, Savitri Era Party prefers to be guided by his #FiveDreamsManifesto, broadcast on August 14, 1947. Instead of an India-centric focus, universalist approach is pushed.

Savitri Era Religion is the religion of the future. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, without the burden of any mythology or ritual, is a great advantage. Further, a robust metaphysics and psychological scaffolding are intrinsic to the formulation.

Savitri Era Party opposes AAP, BJP, and Congress. The philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is widely different from Hindutva, which is patently anti-evolutionary. Besides, the functioning of the current Prime Minister is full of deception, theatrics, and lack of transparency.

Jokingly, or otherwise, a majority of the comments try to highlight as if India is a direct match between Modi and Rahul Gandhi, and nobody else matters. Reducing our vast country to such a simplistic binary may be shrewd, but symptomatic of a gigantic shallowness and hollowness.

Declaration of Emergency in 1975 has broken the backbone of Indian democracy. What was considered excess then is totally normalised at present. People have resigned to hero-worship. Savitri Era Party is confident that true democratic spirit will awaken by following Sri Aurobindo.

It's not that only the judges should embody the Constitution. Each citizen of India has the moral duty of imbibing the lofty principles enshrined in it. It's by eschewing sectarian stances that the spirit of Constitution can be lived. Savitri Era Party seeks to realise this goal.

Sri Aurobindo Ashram is 100 years old. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo took a lot of pains for building it from the scratch. But the basic principles were relaxed when Auroville was conceived. However a community isn't an essential feature of their philosophy. Rather individual is key. 

Since we worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, we don't hold much respect for most of their famous contemporaries. Savitri Era Religion is the only recourse for solution to all human problems. Understanding the evolutionary philosophy behind it is crucial.

As Founder of Savitri Era Religion, I have been discouraging Sanskrit, Ayurveda, Astrology, Mythology, and Rituals. Too much of involvement with psychological states relating to spirituality and yoga also doesn't gel with a modern environment. No restriction on lifestyle choices.

Those who are commenting on Sri Aurobindo should be sensitive to his intention. How he wanted to be perceived or remembered in his mature years should be the right approach in presenting him. Besides, The Mother's factor is an important dimension. All these things are documented.

Hindutva, Pravda, and Oligarchy

Persecuting an intellectual is unusual for a modern environment. Discourse is the foundation of human civilisation, and each one is entitled to his opinion. Savitri Era Party believes that everyone is evolving and therefore disabusing them or weaning them away should be the task.

In any kind of discussion, philosophical or secular, a concept of god lurks as a presupposition. Usually, it's the dominant religion of the land. Be it a doctor, a judge, or a police, none is free from its influence. Reading The Mother & Sri Aurobindo gives the right orientation.

Right now, I am following over one thousand handles, but most of them spend time with current affairs. Inclination towards philosophy is almost nonexistent. Prejudice against the West and the Left seems to be a dominant reason. But consulting Sri Aurobindo can remedy this malady.

My namesake, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta is again trying to convince the Supreme Court today that religious feelings of even one person is beyond the purview of judicial scrutiny. Let's hope that his arguments are fruitful so that Savitri Era Religion is accorded legal status.

Many still prefer the coinage Sri Aurobindonian by Amal Kiran, although Sri Aurobindian is more handy and accurate. Examples like Adornian, relating to Theodor Adorno or Vichean, relating to Giambattista Vico prove the point. Further, writing The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is better.

As Founder of Savitri Era Religion (2006), let me clarify that, conceiving The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine has been formulated by me without any explicit backing from their philosophy. It has the advantage of not being dependent on any other text or religion.

One may or may not choose to be religious, but religion never leaves him. It is always there within and without. It can be perceived as aesthetic experience or even professional satisfaction. Ambition itself is a sign of rising high in consciousness or aspiration for Immortality.

Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry and Auroville feature prominently in South India tourist circuit, as a result of which dedicated engagement with Sri Aurobindo's philosophy rarely happens. Besides, public intellectuals and media blacking him out ensures undermining his relevance.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine and seeking their grace is the only thing we are capable of. Rest is their concern. All that is happening is as per their wish. Some may appear as good while others not. But the evolutionary intention is infallible.

Hindutva block was in opposition for too long but has been in power for quite some time now. But their approach towards criticism hasn't changed. Accepting that criticism is a valid activity in a multi-party democracy is difficult for them. Reminds us of Pravda in erstwhile USSR.

Many people fulminate against worshipping human gods although they are comfortable with mythological or fictional ones with astounding narratives and superstitions. Savitri Era Religion seeks to usher in a rational environment by worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as supreme.

Although devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo abound in other platforms, their number here is almost negligible. It indicates the fiercely competitive and largely cerebral nature of discourse here. If old religions are still doing propaganda, why shouldn't Savitri Era Religion?

A galaxy of top writers, poets, and political leaders in Odisha in the 1960s had inspired us deep into the evolutionary philosophy and prophecy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Their relevance is intact today although the overall intellectual scenario is gigantically more confusing. 

The Party decides and the Govt implements. The party, obviously, uses multiple internal forums for building consensus over contentious matters or innovative measures. Transparency leads to public debates and opposition responses. RSS and BJP seem to be oblivious of such niceties.

More than a century ago, Robert Michels, in his book Political Parties (1911), had formulated the iron law of oligarchy to show how organisations degenerate. Can hardly be disputed but Savitri Era Party believes that following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can bring in a sea-change.

To whomever it may concern: This is to announce the happy news that my younger daughter has just been appointed as an Assistant Professor, Philosophy in St. Stephen's College, Delhi where she has been teaching for the last fourteen years on an ad-hoc basis. 

As a coincidence, Prof. Susan Elias, a computer scientist, has been appointed as the 14th principal of St. Stephen's College, Delhi. She will be the first woman in such a position in the 145-year history of the College, known for its excellence in humanities and the liberal arts.

As expected, the appointment of the Principal has run into rough weather, with Delhi University throwing a spanner. My daughter's joining as Assistant Professor, similarly, has also been put under a stay by the Delhi High Court today. Let's hope, justice is done to all concerned!

My posts have negligible reach, but they form a record for the future. The way commenting on Sri Aurobindo and The Mother is a free for all, the situation will exacerbate in the times to come. Then, AI will come to the rescue for setting the records straight. Right info is power.

Indians weren't expected to develop political consciousness before Independence. Some rebelliousness had developed during Bengal division. Congress politics was based on selflessness and sacrifice for the truth. But now politics has become on-payment basis in the corporate style.

It would be more true to say that industrialists partly own political parties. Govts accordingly run for furthering corporate interests. Nothing wrong. After all it's all geared for the economy of the country. But things are much deeper which an ordinary person like me won't know. 

Tamil Nadu electing a new Chief Minister is an alarm bell for Indian democracy. Media and technology have acquired immense power for subverting democracy. Manipulating minds has become the most potent formula. Savitri Era Party (2007) is confident that this trend can be reversed.

Since everyone is midway, no one can be an expert on life. Further, everyone is a patient and trying to cope. Books tell of the past and hence may not help. As each one is unique, the problem he faces is also unique. So, the solution is to surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

Being born and brought up in a village in Odisha, I am well aware of the huge progress that has taken place during the last seventy years. Thus blaming some ideology or political leader is wrong. The psychology of the people and the mythological atmosphere has more to do with it.

No prototype for living a perfect life

Savitri Era Party values Democracy and Modernity and hence is against Mythological or Monarchical model of polity. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo represent the best of the East and the West and therefore following them ensures right ethical perspective based on evolutionary paradigm.

Raja Ram Mohan Roy rebelled against idol worship and empty rituals. The story of his life is an inspiration for every Indian. We are all beneficiaries of his intellectual revolution and the Renaissance that ensued. Even Emerson praised him for the new thought that he set to flow.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine without any mythology or rituals is the revolutionary framework of Savitri Era Religion (2006). The evolutionary philosophy of The Life Divine and The Secret of the Veda drives this epochal physics of consciousness.

Election symbols and Party flags are subversive of democracy. Election campaigns lend legitimacy to spectacle or carnival but appeal to irrationality is the very negation Modernity. Savitri Era Party follows Sri Aurobindo. Cutting down ceremonials would be in the interest of all.

Mamata's base is almost intact and if anti-BJP votes were not divided, she would have won. But, like in Odisha, her long tenure had to end. Thus, chest-thumping is undeserved. However, the real democratic upsurge happens in TN but impasse in Govt formation robbed away the credit.

Savitri Era Party has been resisting appropriation of Sri Aurobindo by Hindutva outfits since 2007. Mentioning Sri Aurobindo without invoking The Mother is meaningless and misleading since they are the one Supreme Divine. Comparing him with other famous persons is also fruitless.

Mamata appeals for anti-BJP forces uniting. It continues in many ways, but the most crucial element is ideology. BJP is changing like a chameleon and adopting rainbow colours. That's, perhaps, inevitable due to demography. But Savitri Era Party follows Sri Aurobindo's philosophy.

It's unfortunate that an Imperial or religious system like oath-taking has turned a key part of democracy. Constitution endorsing it is regressive and anachronistic. Everyone loves a costume drama but the modern approach should be different. Why undergo a fancy dress competition?

Many people are signalling erudition by mentioning Sri Aurobindo without reading any of his books. Hindutva adherents are trying to appropriate him by selectively quoting him. Others are talking about intricacies of Integral yoga. Savitri Era Religion worships him and The Mother.

There are many scholars who explain The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy and literature in different forums but it should be taken as their personal opinion, because the subject is so vast that there is every possibility of an error or misrepresentation entering a perspective.

Neither Supreme Court nor Enclave deliberations can decide the tenor of future religions. It's not for nothing that Sri Aurobindo wrote The Life Divine. Any other formulation or amalgamation can never be equal to it. Savitri Era Religion is the only way for evolutionary progress.

Since there is no firm prototype for living a perfect life, one's own background or culture imparts an extremely limiting influence. The teachings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, on the contrary, is addressed to each person, regardless of their geography, nationality, or religion.

Tussle between Secular-liberal and Hindutva worldviews is a continuous affair but Savitri Era Party (2007) offers an alternative perspective based on the philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Without reading The Life Divine and The Secret of the Veda, one can't understand it.

All ideological or philosophical questions get automatically devalued whenever economic issues surface. Whether to buy gold or not, however, has more philosophical repercussions than merely economic. Gold is like Brahman of which the paper money functions like the apparent world.

Savitri Era Religion (2006) encourages worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine without the compulsion of practicing any rigid system of yoga. Voluntary or spontaneous love, devotion, loyalty, gratitude, and surrender to them are basic necessary attitudes.

Tamil Nadu is an advanced State and home to a very intelligent people. But electing a film star as Chief Minister is the very antithesis of Democracy. Our Constitution lacks checks and balances for preventing such anomalies. Social media unfortunately fails to promote good people. 

The Life Divine was heralded on August 15, 1914. It has transformed the intellectual landscape to some extent, but its "volcanic" effect is yet to unfold. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine who are in their three poises: individual, universal, and transcendent.

Savitri Era Party (2007) is unhappy with the present form of politics although an overwhelmingly large section endorses the current dispensation. The so called Indian values or traditional knowledge systems are a sham. Modernity as distilled from Western and Christian crux safer.

Power in a democracy is temporary and hence assuming that the ruling party is following the path of truth is mistaken. Philosophy is the right arena to judge things dispassionately. Savitri Era Party (2007) owes allegiance to the evolutionary vision of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

TV and Internet have transformed the society beyond recognition, especially women. The cosmopolitan approach prevailing in Metropolitan cities earlier is available in every home now, irrespective of location. Thus, defining people under straight-jackets may not be very objective.

Finitude prevents a panoptic view of things although similar abilities can be claimed. What I perceive is that a certain taxonomic framework is assumed to be given or enduring while the current century has witnessed much disruption. If they are merely tangential, then it is fine.

Veda unveils the physics of consciousness

Rescuing Sri Aurobindo from the trivialisation of his Uttarpara speech on the one hand and transporting him to the remote spiritual planes on the other, is crucial for right appreciation of him. Further, looking at him in isolation without invoking The Mother is congenital error.

Sri Aurobindo wrote virtually till his last breath. Hence approaching him as he was in 1950 is more pertinent than in 1905, when he was beginning his public life. It's important to understand that The Mother gave him the identity and recognition for which he is revered worldwide.

Both Savitri Era Religion and Savitri Era Party are completely reliant on The Mother's grace before which all human machinations are fruitless. Intellectual awareness of Sri Aurobindo's epochal evolutionary theories, both political and philosophical, have a big role, nonetheless.

Why only the opposition to do? Why not people, starting with the intellectuals themselves? Following Sri Aurobindo is the most viable alternative in the current circumstances and understanding this much shouldn't be difficult. Otherwise old ideologies won't be able to defeat BJP.

West Bengal is in focus, and around a dozen names are doing the rounds including, of course, Sri Aurobindo. So far so good, but many are absolutely in the dark about their ideological compatibility or philosophical utility. Nobody has any clue as to in which order to list them!

Pet narratives have their rosy teleologies and fond destinies. All are entitled to their dose of fiction and phantasy, but trajectory of evolution knows no compromise. Assuming that it is biased towards a select slice of geography, however, makes fine stuff for anodyne lullabies.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have written about higher or unseen regions of consciousness in detail and very realistically. But that doesn't mean that they are explicit and evident or can be accessed easily. Savitri Era Religion encourages to worship them as the one Supreme Divine.

Sri Aurobindo wrote extensively, but unlike his many contemporaries, he didn't take any firm or rigid stand on various burning issues. Ideologies come and ideologies go, but Sri Aurobindo remains as fresh and relevant as ever. He is always the best bet for nuance and perspective.

Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy said something very significant in his dissenting judgement in the Auroville case, 1982, but the majority verdict ruled otherwise. Devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are suffering injustice for 44 years but current Sabarimala hearings do raise hope.

BJP entering Bengal marks the beginning of the end of the young party. That's why I have said it's a double edged weapon. It has to grapple with multiple philosophies and plurality, which will clash with the monochromatic vision of the RSS. If internalised, it will turn Congress.

Recent election has shown how people are clinging to sundry icons. A film star has won, Mamata is still revered as a living-legend; Freedom fighters continue to inspire. All this points to the general propensity of hero-worship. Savitri Era Party, however, bets on Sri Aurobindo.

I studied Science in college but had an abiding interest in the Humanities. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo too kept it aflame. From Cold War through Berlin Wall to 9/11 and Iran today, it has been a long journey. A Brief History of Time (1988) and The End of History (1992) are passé.

Savitri Era Religion encourages worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, who are always present in their three poises: individual, universal, and transcendent. They preside over the evolutionary march towards Supramental descent and Vedic Immortality.

Different organisations are running wellness camps, cultural programmes, etc. in the name of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo but they shouldn't be taken, strictly, as a part of their teachings. Commercial and utilitarian aspects always run the risk of being hijacked by adverse forces.

Sri Aurobindo tells different things in different books. They are also addressed to different classes of people. Reconciling these therefore is not easy without deep study. Further, his approach in poetry is altogether different. So, those peddling quotations need to be cautious.

Auroville had been taken over by Govt due to some exigency which no longer exists. All are requested to put up a demand before the Govt to return Auroville back to the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in terms of the dissenting judgement of Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy, 1982.

Thanks to the Bengal elections, Sri Aurobindo was being remembered frequently on this platform in different contexts. Now, that would be over. But the real task is to take him more seriously, and realise, why he gets acknowledged as the greatest philosopher and poet of the world.

Many political parties in India can trace their origin to Sri Aurobindo. Some others have close ideological association. The concept of an Ashram seems to be alien to politics but it is not, since an ideal model of collective living has been at the centre of all Utopian thinking.

Sri Aurobindo is often clubbed with other great men from Bengal but his work along with The Mother is of a different tenor. At intellectual level, The Life Divine and Savitri by far are unparalleled. But at spiritual plane, transformation of physical consciousness was pioneering.

While in many respects some sections have imbibed things ultramodern or even postmodern, basic Modernity is still struggling to get established in our country. Some political parties are in the forefront for espousing modern values but others are trying to hinder. Resolve needed.

RSS is trying to reform itself and refurbish its image abroad. While its record of providing an alternative worldview than Congress during the last 100 years is laudable its current fascination for dubious Savarkar or Ambedkar is flawed. Following Sri Aurobindo is the right path.

The tragic trajectory of Janata Party being formed by the merger of a dozen parties and then splintering into as many streams is well-known. Whether apparent or not the Hindutva bandwagon is undergoing a similar fissiparous tendency on account of internal ideological differences.

Success stories are appreciated by all, but the real success lies in the right navigation of life itself. Instead of narcissistic self-approval, consulting The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is the best option. Many are against using superlatives but they are indispensable for right way.

Untouchability and Castes system are offshoots of menial work. Despite technological developments, social hierarchy on this basis is very much prevalent. The Mother introduced a new paradigm in Sri Aurobindo Ashram. How far can it be internalised by Modernity remains a challenge.

Savitri Era Religion (2006) has been in existence for two decades, in which worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the cardinal principle. Free of any Mythology or rituals, it glides with love, loyalty, gratitude, devotion, and surrender towards them.

Savitri Era Party (2007) continues to oppose Hindutva and the theatrical functioning style of Prime Minister Modi. It is also against all other parties for different reasons. It supports abolition of reservations so that a genuine egalitarian atmosphere takes root in the country.

Democracy runs in the Monarchical or Imperial lines. Elections are fought in the manner of wars. Savitri Era Party believes that change is possible. Citizens need to reclaim and regain their individualities. Decency, decorum, humility, respect, and tolerance have to be restored.

Too many people are trying to celebrate and take credit for the Bengal victory. People are forgetting that it's patently an anti-incumbency vote. There was no third force and BJP became the sole beneficiary. The same thing had happened in Odisha earlier. Further, TMC scored well.

I keep the probability of TMC winning at 75% and BJP at 25%. Democracy is suffering and Development is languishing under Mamata. A change will certainly be better, but she gives a strong resistance to Hindutva when most have failed. BJP win would mean a double-edged sword for it.

Hindutva is already facing confusion due to a series of revisionist stances of RSS. BJP win in West Bengal is going to multiply its challenges over grappling with plurality. It is not that Bengal is endorsing or embracing Hindutva. It is a purely anti-incumbency vote like Odisha.

Many are eager to invoke Sri Aurobindo at this juncture but it's undiluted conjecture. Further, Modified BJP is lightyears away from universalist outlook of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Savitri Era Party has been opposing appropriation of Sri Aurobindo by BJP ecosystem since 2007.

Regional politics, Caste based politics, & Personal charisma based politics are falling like house of cards. Thus it is apparent that robust ideology and affinity is needed for success in politics in future. Savitri Era Party has been emphasising Sri Aurobindo as the future icon.

It is so plain simple. Even BJP is publicly admitting that tactical transfer of the Left vote helped it.
