Alluding to old religions

 After meeting for the first time on March 29, 1914, Sri Aurobindo and The Mother worked together to bring out Arya on August 15, 1914, which is a landmark in the intellectual history of the world. Subsequently, the Ashram was established on November 24, 1926 as more and more disciples gathered around them. Since then, thousands of Centres have been opened across the globe with lakhs of devotees and followers.

However, many are in the habit of alluding to old religions and their mythologies. It shouldn't matter in an academic discussion, but their open political leanings spur suspicion. Savitri Era Religion, instead, demands unalloyed loyalty towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine. Without clarity in the mind in this respect, one is likely to continue to confuse himself and others.

In many Annual Functions, similarly, the emphasis on including diverse cultural aspects devalues the occasion. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo didn't recommend anyone as truly important for their work. Hence, there should be effort not to accommodate extraneous influence with potential adverse effect.
