Savitri Era Religion is more focused on morality and refinement of emotions. Practicing surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can transform one's ideas and behaviour in the course of time. Realising that it's in the self-interest can prevent from being a purveyor of corruption.

British rule is the most important episode of Indian history in which The Mother & Sri Aurobindo also played a significant part. I write and read in English, even today. All those who pursue excellence and expertise are united with the rest of the world through English language.

Learning lessons from adversities, without being unduly perturbed by it, is a common attitude in life. But when it comes to a nation's history, such a balanced view is often missing. Many trade atrocity and victimhood for buying blanket and uncritical loyalty against adversaries.

It's necessary to understand the evolutionary angle while analysing the ups and downs of civilisations. Death, disease, and suffering in life, similarly, have promptings from elsewhere. Savitri by Sri Aurobindo ponders over all these aspects. The solution it offers is prophetic.

There's no better philosophy for modern world than what The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have presented. Surrendering to them under Savitri Era Religion is the best course for any individual. Reading their books on a regular basis is the only way for obtaining a systematic orientation.

Cause and effect is a basic scientific inquiry and what The Mother & Sri Aurobindo undertake in the course of their vast writings is to unravel this ultimate mystery. They don't stop at empirical sense-data nor are they apologetic about straying into sacred space. That's Integral. 

I avoid peddling unverifiable spiritual powers or mystical visions due to lack of first-hand experience. But such things are plenty in the books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. One must be cautious against charlatans and imposters active in this game in the guise of wellness camps. 

Savitri Era Party is aware of subtleties behind various philosophical standpoints of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo due to which it can't be so certain like Marx or Ambedkar. Imperfections are part of playing out of ignorance which provide the field for seeds of harmony to germinate.

The Secret of the Veda not only awakes us to the vast unseen realities of cosmic powers but also enlarges our geographical conception of India as the deities also appear in other texts. Sri Aurobindo also describes their respective correspondences with Greek and Roman mythologies. 

The most harmless practice of spiritual nature is to read any book of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, loudly, for a few minutes. Reciting a page from Savitri on a regular basis is quite ideal. Dynamics of Mantra is very important in Integral yoga as it's a physical means of aspiration. 

There are many religions and ancient traditions with thousands of scriptures. But worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo under Savitri Era Religion is the most modern and rational way without the tyranny of any mythology or rituals. It also amounts to collaboration with evolution. 

During his time, Sri Aurobindo fought against moderate group of Congress and later, he switched to a more larger view of social harmony in his political writings. Realising that this is part of long-term aspirational goals, the task is to confront present challenges like Hindutva. 

Those who haven't read the books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo adequately or have followed other gurus in the past can't have the same advantage as someone like me who has been a devotee for the last sixty years. I have also a reasonable grasp on Humanities to see relative merits. 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo stressed the action of the Divine grace over traditional ontological formulations like chakras or stars. Descent of Supramental consciousness may not look relevant but the solution to all problems can ensue from that. Thus the top-down mode is the road.

Nehruvian and Socialist ideologies depended upon Muslims as votebanks leading to warped worldview. Hindutva took advantage of the vacuum but is afflicted with imagined philosophy. Savitri Era Party is confident of fulfilment of the #FiveDreams of Sri Aurobindo of August 14, 1947.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo ask for collaboration with evolutionary force for speeding up our journey to the next level of consciousness. Instead of the natural process, a more conscious attempt is warranted. Surrendering to TM&SA is essential for this collaboration to take effect. 

No political or economic change can solve the problems faced by the humanity, insisted Sri Aurobindo. It's necessary to understand that the evil or imperfection is very much a part of the overall ontology. Thus the lila dimension has its own utility as per evolutionary necessity.

Congress, Leftists, Hindutva, and Ambedkar followers, all are against Sri Aurobindo. Hence he doesn't find place in academic books and research articles. Students are suffering due to this intellectual malnutrition. Further modern gurus don't encourage their disciples to read him. 

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine empowers a devotee to seek knowledge and rationality instead of being under the influence of mythological fiction. It is also an opportunity for collaboration with evolution for descent of Supramental consciousness.

Society is constituted of varieties of people belonging to different economic strata. The Constitution awards equality to all citizens but creates several hierarchies side by side. In spirituality, however, everyone is at the same level irrespective of various outward differences. 

A new edition of Freud's book revises many misconceptions about his interpretations. But The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were very emphatic about an alternative perception of dreams and visions. The pictures of inner domains Sri Aurobindo paints in Savitri should reflect more fidelity. 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were able to spread their message through independent effort but after their departure no concerted initiative is visible. It's not due to difficulty of understanding their books that their reception is so low. Disagreements on their legacy is a factor.

There's no difference between Bollywood fiction and Mythological fiction. Poets and writers have spun their magic down the ages. In Sri Aurobindo we find the greatest poet and philosopher of the modern era. Further, The Mother and he are the one Supreme Divine who goad evolution.

If you study science and yet believe in mythology, then it's a paradox. Lack of higher education creates this kind of precarious situation. Without a reasonable grounding in philosophy, it's easy to skid in the path of knowledge. Sri Aurobindo provides wholesome nutrition on this. 

There is a lot of scholarly works on genealogy of Sri Aurobindo's thought involving English poetry and Western philosophy. Comparative analyses of his philosophy and psychology with that of his contemporaries also form a huge treasury. Reading them can widen intellectual horizon.

If your parents didn't use Internet but you know its benefits you needn't believe in the same mythology they believed in. Reading the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is above PhD level study with immense benefits. All educated persons should supplement their education with it. 

Claude Alvares wrote an article titled Sri Aurobindo: Superman or Supertalk (Quest, January-February, 1975) criticising his philosophy. Now some are eager to dub Sri Aurobindo as wordcel, wordceler, or wordceller, whatever that may mean. Critical scrutiny is good but not calumny.

Colleges are not teaching Sri Aurobindo, but Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF) is active since 2005 for spreading awareness on him. Dedicated handles on this platform are negligible too barring the copy-paste brigade. Some spew disinformation by reading screenshot of half-a-page.

It's well-known that Marxist grip over higher education in Humanities has rendered it handicapped. Sri Aurobindo wrote his seminal works 1914 onwards but they are yet to be accommodated by Universities. It was expected in 2014 that Govt. will act but in vain. 2024 shouldn't pass.

2004 election results were unexpected but the same can't be said about 2024. BJP lost the mandate to rule but this democratic indication was not respected. The present govt lacks legitimacy and stability. Clutching on to power isn't a virtue. Let's expect more churning this year!

Devotees of Savitri Era Religion worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises, viz., individual, universal and transcendent. Comparing them to other leaders or writers therefore has no validity. Surrender to them vital.

If one loves The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and understands the value and mantric significance of their words, he will certainly not like to throw them on the roads. It's by their grace that we follow meanings of a few sentences. A new person should search and reach the fount of joy.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have discussed various facets of different religions but have avoided recommending any. Savitri Era Religion has no connection with other religions or rituals and devotees are expected to practice Aspiration, rejection, & surrender, or Remember & offer.

Publication of "The Mother" book in 1928 can be said to be the beginning of Savitri Era Religion. The concept of Integral yoga took a drastic turn as The Mother not only took charge of Ashram and sadhana of the disciples but also was identified by Sri Aurobindo as Supreme Divine.

It's wrong to confine Sri Aurobindo as simply Rishi, Yogi, Guru, or Avatar. His works can be studied as a scholar but when it comes to spirituality, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine. No other name can be mentioned along with theirs. It's Savitri Era Religion.

What can be a good anchor for protecting one from the onslaught of constant media intrusion? There can't be any better avenue than Savitri. Remembering a few lines every now and then provides the needed profundity and gravitas whenever one experiences emptiness or purposelessness. 

At 68, I'm excluded from many aspects of general life and work but meaning of life and a right worldview continue to be of relevance. Since The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are most neglected in India although they hold the greatest knowledge, it becomes very important to tell of them.

The Life Divine is famous for its dense prose but in reality it is very simple and straightforward. Being conversant with the polysyllables Sri Aurobindo uses is the first step. To keep on reading is the secret. This is one book which everyone should read.

It's very important for the followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo to adopt a balanced view on different aspects of life. Many nourish antipathy towards the West, for instance, but Sri Aurobindo's poetic inspiration comes from English poetry. He is also an advocate of modernity.

Ideally speaking, spirituality shouldn't bother about politics but since Hindutva is promoting a brand of knowledge which is patently anti-evolutionary in nature, then offering the right alternative is in order. Savitri Era Party is fired by the 1947 #FiveDreams of Sri Aurobindo.

When Congress was ruling the country, most devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were its supporters. A similar situation exists today as people spontaneously follow BJP. Attraction towards power is natural. Savitri Era Party however is showing an alternative ideological avenue.

Meditation can have adverse effects, says a news item. I don't have much experience on this score and hence avoid recommending any form of practice. There is no guru or guide in Integral yoga. Savitri Era Religion is the safest that entails surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. 

Savitri Era Religion is completely voluntary without dependence on anyone else. Devoid of any fixed codes or rituals, surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the only requisite. Plenty of books and videos are there online for orientation and research.

Hindutva is synonymous with hatred and The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have no place there who preach harmony. Congress too is against Sri Aurobindo since the Surat split in 1907. Savitri Era Party seeks to establish that an alternative movement is possible without religion or castes.

"India has 26.52 crore students in schools and 4.33 crore in higher education institutions," but the question is what do we teach them. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were deeply involved with education and have written extensively but policy makers are yet to take benefit from them.

Self-interest operates universally and not for a chosen few. Depends upon how free is the environment. But expecting a time-frame for the results to show may be at odds.

November 24, 1926 is known as the foundation day of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry which is going to complete one hundred years within a couple of years. Historians don't think much of its role in influencing anything substantial pertaining the nation, but reality is otherwise.

Immortality or Supramental consciousness seem to be too distant a goal for the people in general. The prophecy of The Life Divine, therefore, provides fodder for philosophical research. The Secret of the Veda, on the other hand, is to the point. It hits hard mythology and rituals. 

Just like millions of involuntary activities taking place within the body, evolution also goes on, incessantly, in all spheres. Simply put, it's the effort to return to the primordial perfect state. How entropy can be understood in this scenario is, of course, for the specialists. 

The beauty of The Life Divine is that Sri Aurobindo fuses spirituality and religion with physics and biology. In other words, the gulf between the secular and sacred is obliterated successfully. Tethering the march of current affairs and history to the waves of evolution is splendid. 

Ambedkar formed Bahishkrit Hitkarini Sabaha in 1924. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was founded in 1925. Communist Party of India was formed in 1925. And Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry was established in 1926. All these currents of political thought carry considerable significance. 

Savitri Era Religion (2006) is beholden to Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy for pronouncing in his dissenting judgement (S.P. Mittal vs Union Of India And Others on 8 November, 1982) that devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are entitled to form a new religion.

Politicians have the unenviable task of securing victory for their parties which may not be in the scheme of things of evolution. When defeated, they prefer to stay in opposition instead of changing their ideologies. Savitri Era Party's ideals are based on Sri Aurobindo's vision.

Visited the ghat today where Sri Aurobindo had arrived in Chandannagar before leaving for Puducherry in 1910. His statue is there within a small park meant for children. It's adjacent to the famous Strand. I stay across the river in Authpur which falls under Bhatpara Municipality. 

Most of Sri Aurobindo's writings belong to the Colonial period. Besides, being educated in England, he had that global view. His philosophy also is universal in nature. The Mother too had an international background. Thus, the attitude of binding them to India, alone, is myopic.

The Life Divine by Sri Aurobindo answers many intellectual conundrums raked up by Darwin, Marx, Spencer, Nietzsche, Freud, Bergson, Frederic W. H. Myers, William James, and Einstein. He has also been compared with Samuel Alexander, Whitehead, Teilhard de Chardin, and Jean Gebser.

Twenty first century was thought of as ushering in widespread progress but unfortunately, the ideology of hatred of Hindutva has vitiated the atmosphere in India. Followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have this responsibility to disabuse people of their attraction for Hindutva.

History tends to paint its players as black or white but Homer used to be more sympathetic by drawing attention to the gods who were acting from behind. The Mother too dubs Hitler as being a tool in the hands of hidden evil forces. The occult is a fact even in Hegel or Heidegger.

Conflict is the basis of biology which expresses itself in various forms in society. But virtues like liberty, equality, and fraternity are also real insofar as they are seen as achievable goals. Sri Aurobindo explains it in evolutionary terms since creation emanated from harmony. 

India has been facing a vociferous challenge from Hindutva since 1990. 2024 election results demonstrate that some resistance has been offered by the combined force of casteists and atheists but Savitri Era Party, driven by Sri Aurobindo's philosophy, possesses ideological muscle. 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the greatest contribution of 20th century. It's not just coincidental that World War I broke out after Arya was launched by them in August 1914. I got to know their teachings in 1964. Investing my life in studying their philosophy has been rewarding.

The Ashram was a laboratory as The Mother & Sri Aurobindo used to put it and hence it doesn't exactly represent their philosophy. Auroville was created to be a more faithful reflection but it's still struggling. In any case, the world at large is the real field. All life is yoga.

Many are posing as experts on Sri Aurobindo but they should disclose their exposure. Admitting ignorance is the first step to knowledge. Proceeding to learn systematically is better than bluffing as reading just one or two books is not enough. Lastly, surrender to The Mother is key. 

The Foundations of Indian Culture has been renamed as The Renaissance in India incarnateword.in/cwsa/20. Many have been misled by this book to be avid followers of Hindutva and its muscular nationalism. It's crucial to remember that Sri Aurobindo wrote it in different circumstances. 

Peter Heehs showed that Sri Aurobindo had almost no connection with Hinduism. After reading his speech, it occurred to me that the way Sri Aurobindo has reinterpreted the Veda, the gods and rituals have no validity. Since then I have been campaigning against mythology and rituals. 

Beyond Man (1997) by Georges van Vrekhem (Beyond the Human Species in American edition) is an outstanding book which highlights the divinity of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. The same is also found in his other books like Patterns of the Present (2002) and Hitler and His God (2006).

A lot of debate was going on on whether Integral yoga is turning into a new religion. Then, I read in The Penguin Sri Aurobindo Reader (1999) edited by Makarand Paranjape that though they repeatedly warned against a cult, "Sri Aurobindo himself deified The Mother and vice versa."

I was volunteering at different book fairs at Pragati Maidan from 1996 to 2008. The stall was organised by Gyanchandra of Sri Aravind Chetana Samaj. Sunlit Path by The Mother and Living Within series by A. S. Dalal were selling the most. Ved Rahasya used to attract Hindi readers.

Books by Rod Hemsell like The Philosophy of Consciousness, The Philosophy of Religion, The Philosophy of Evolution, and Sri Aurobindo and the Logic of the Infinite are excellent introductions to Western philosophy and psychology. His The Poetry of Sri Aurobindo reveals rare insights.

I have said it often that I don't find anyone today who understands The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, adequately. Accordingly, I have been writing independently since 2005. My political interpretation angers many, but there's nothing personal about it. Their writings are crystal clear.

There's no escape from the fact that UP and Bihar will decide who rules India. Congress has tasted blood and can double its tally in 2029. It has the backing of the Left intellectuals. In such an event, it's back to the position in 1977. NDA has to metamorphose into Janata Party.

Sri Aurobindo's #ThirdDream was #WorldUnion. Although there's not much clarity as to how this would be possible, my theory is that the States should be granted Sovereignty under a loose federation so that it grows by co-opting neighbouring nations and becomes a magnet for harmony. 

I have been suggesting that 2024 has ushered in a lot of changes that are of evolutionary import. New seeds are being sown for overthrowing the past discourse. The dreams of 1977 remain unfulfilled. It can receive a fresh impetus. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo hold "the rudder well". 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo meeting in Puducherry in 1914 marks the beginning of the end of all religions. He has explained how inner core of all religions have vanished leaving behind a pell-mell of external paraphernalia and mechanical rituals. Savitri Era Religion is the future. 

In The Synthesis of Yoga, Sri Aurobindo has described the significance of religion in all its essence. There can't be any better book than this. His detailed analysis of work, knowledge, and devotion dovetailing into a yoga of self-perfection is masterful.

Any discussion on religion, including Hindutva or Minorities, is defective without considering the vision of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Demographic issues are fodder for politics but democratic ethos transcends such concerns. Internalising the evolutionary direction is important

The democratic spirit has been fully activated in the last election. The dressing-down Modi received from the electorate is duly reflected now in the subdued hues of his costumes. Hindutva, too, is on the wane and is likely to make way for more realistic concerns like employment.

The beauty of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's teachings is that religion is not a compartment apart. All life is yoga and all kinds of work, including politics, form a seamless whole. Quest for perfection and thirst fo harmony drive every activity of a human being. Surrender is key.

The most important date of last century is March 29, 1914 when The Mother and Sri Aurobindo met in Puducherry. They are the one Supreme Divine and love and devotion to them is essential for onward journey of evolution. Sri Aurobindo's #ThirdDream of August 14, 1947 is #WorldUnion. 

The Human Cycle by Sri Aurobindo has many defects but the overall scenario it builds is inescapable. Any socio-political theory has to be understood in terms of an interplay of the four Suns, viz., Varuna, Aryaman, Mitra, and Bhaga, as delineated by him in The Secret of the Veda.

Most Xriters consider themselves as superior specimens of Human species and blame others for various ills of the society. But, benchmarking morality can be very dicey without reading the books by Sri Aurobindo. The Mother's psychological nomenclature of flowers, too, is relevant.

Savitri Era Religion is about exclusive loyalty towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and belief in their prophecy. No other religion or mythology is involved here nor any other guru. Cf. Judgement of Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy.

Concern for one thing can corrupt or devalue the same for something else. Loyalty and gratitude towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can't be traded for things of lesser importance. My devotion towards them as a child came before the knowledge aspect or any intellectual conviction.

Japa of The Mother's name or Ma is recommended as a potent method of invoking evolutionary force. Reading Savitri or any other book by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo loudly also has the effect of the Mantra. Remember and offer forms the core of Integral yoga or Savitri Era Religion.

History of religion in India is too complex and spurious Babas milking the ignorance of common people is no different from govt siphoning temple funds for financing revdi culture for reaping electoral benefits. Savitri Era Religion worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is safest. 

Rupala, a Dalit, accused the Kings to have supported the British and entering into marital relationship which infuriated the Rajputs. This is one of the reasons of BJP's defeat and shows how history can create volatile situations. Savitri Era Party seeks to dilute caste identity.

Many minds have been corrupted by Goel, Shourie, and Naipaul. What India needs now is the healing touch of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Reading Savitri is an evolutionary demand. Descent of Supramental consciousness can happen through collective aspiration. #FiveDreams show path.

The so called maturity of Indian voters stems from the fact that different States vote in different ways and local factors lend to overall unpredictability. The last election however saw more of one-to-one contests reflecting correctly the mood of people. Two party system needed.

Savitri Era Party is against AAP, BJP, and Congress. It believes in universality and human unity in terms of #FiveDreams of Sri Aurobindo. Savitri Era Religion also seeks to free people from the tyranny of mythology and rituals by spreading the message of The Secret of the Veda.

Refusing to acknowledge Sri Aurobindo as a socio-political thinker or religious scholar continues. On the philosophy front also his influence is minimal. But the greatest neglect he suffers is in the domain of poetry. Even an epic like Savitri is almost unknown among the students. 

Most people are not aware of historical details about Sri Aurobindo's writings. While lots of political and journalistic coverage came out during his Freedom struggle days in Kolkata, his mature thoughts got expression from 1914 onwards in Puducherry, after arrival of The Mother.

There are different proposals but Delhi Metro @OfficialDMRC should connect Vaishali with Ghaziabad Railway Station on the Vijay Nagar side. Similarly, Noida Electronic City should connect with Mohan Nagar via Sahibabad. These missing links can provide immense relief to the public. 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo worked for fulfilment of the evolutionary project that has thrown man as a transitional being. This is something much sublimer than Nietzsche's notion of Overman as descent of Supramental consciousness is intertwined with the Vedic target of Immortality. 

Appreciating the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo certainly requires high intellectuality and cultural awareness, but coming under the umbrella of their love and protection is relatively simple. Savitri Era Religion is an easy avenue of nearness to them and understanding them.

Evolution was being discussed avidly on many fronts, but by writing The Life Divine, Sri Aurobindo gave it the final meaning and explanation. Not only physical or psychological evolution but he connected it to the social and political sphere as well. His The Human Cycle is a gem.

If Bihar is बिहार and not विहार, then Sri Aurobindo should be written as श्रीअरबिंद but it may not convey the meaning as lotus.

When A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking appeared in 1988, it fuelled an intellectual upsurge. Ontological discussions became frequent in the media. The Tao of Physics (1975) by Fritjof Capra and The Dancing Wu Li Masters (1979) by Gary Zukav provided philosophical fodder.

Savitri Era Party is against doing politics on warp and woof of religions and castes. Discovering unity among citizens is possible by following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy. Those dependent on votebanks should realise that the evolutionary arrow hates narrow loyalties.

After one year of our marriage, I and my wife had visited Puducherry and Auroville in 1980. I had bought the pocket edition of Savitri which became a source of inspiration. Later on I had procured many books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo when VAK published them in a smaller size.

If virtues of Congress are lauded, no harm in highlighting its blunders. It's understandable not to stray too far before the Independence but the history after it shouldn't be doctored or forgotten. The JP movement signified evolutionary potentials and whoever supports it is good. 

A person, who is aware of Sri Aurobindo, launching a broadside against Raja Ram Mohan Roy and Winston Churchill is a bit disconcerting. Historical narratives need to be evaluated in terms of their evolutionary validity and relevance. Even the current affairs pose the same challenge. 

Disenchantment with BJP and Modi is clearly visible now, but it shouldn't translate into a direct advantage to Dynasty. Savitri Era Party is the most logical option in the circumstances as it conforms to the evolutionary objectives. Constitution needs to be purged of castes blot.

As devotees, our reliance is on the will and intention of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in all things including politics. World is changing fast and their writings face the vagaries of time. Savitri Era Religion, however, is confident of their designing a sublime future, infallibly.

BJP has been enjoying power since 1990, but has been reluctant to invest in knowledge. Hindutva has been adopted as a vote catching mechanism without any visible sign of promoting excellence. Its intellectuals are enjoying power and pelf, dishonestly. Sri Aurobindo is the answer.

Anyone reading the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can easily notice the futility of religions but the solution is not to reform them. That's impossible and therefore they didn't attempt anything of that sort. I launched Savitri Era Religion in 2006 precisely for this reason.

Learning from life, general education & self-development, plus deep engagement with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings has taught me a lot during the last sixty years. Political and technological changes too have played their part. Surrendering to TM&SA is the only way forward. 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo provided a new lens to the humanity in 1914. They drew attention to the most fundamental issues of evolving to a higher level of consciousness and achieving Immortality. This transcends racial, national, linguistic, religious, ethnic, or caste divisions. 

If we look at the lives of early disciples like Nolini, Purani, Amrita, or Pavitra, it's amazing how they were called to stand as pillars for the Ashram that was taking shape. Reading their books convinces about inevitability of the evolutionary process unveiled by Sri Aurobindo.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo spur heightened awareness of individuality, as against the tribal mentality. Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach is a very good book on this theme. So, widening the intellectual horizon and rising to a higher level of consciousness is essential.

Everyday, we come across epic fights between two different Hindutva intellectuals and the issues are never resolved. The problem is, "the more we nail down the particle's position, the less we know about its speed and vice versa." Knowledge needs to be explored without prejudice.

People are in the habit of comparing Sri Aurobindo with others. Of course it's part of one's intellectual journey but whole of life shouldn't be spent in this. The best way to benefit is to accept The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the greatest philosophers and the one Supreme Divine.

Many are accusing Modi and BJP of not doing enough for Hindu causes. Those who are so concerned about Hindu issues should unite under a separate banner and run the organisation democratically so that clarity is there on different demands. Lambasting on social media is pointless.

I felt happy to read The Rise of Hyper Hindus by Makarand R Paranjape. Election results is prompting many to recalibrate strategies. 1992 was definitely a negation of what The Mother & Sri Aurobindo had embarked upon in 1914. Savitri Era Party has been consistently reiterating it. 

Modi supporters are begging for unity and keeping mouth shut within their ecosystem. This is a panic situation. Politics and democracy, however, run on different rails. This is understood very well when seen against the backdrop of Emergency's anniversary which I remember vividly. 

Savitri Era Religion promotes worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine instead of other gods, goddesses, or gurus so that people are liberated from the influence of mythology, rituals, and superstitions. Savitri is a poem based on Vedic aim of Immortality.

Future Shock was an influential book in the last century and the situation today is not very different. But the way The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have crafted the path to the future is absolutely unique. Once in a while one can be tempted towards activism but the route is Aspiration.

All kinds of opinions float here but my intention is to use my experience of last sixty years to instruct young generation. I was born and brought up midst the deprivation of an Odisha ଓଡ଼ିଶା village, but had received the highest riches of knowledge of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

The hold of religions on human mind is something phenomenal. So much so that, even great scientists or philosophers don't escape from their overpowering influence. Savitri Era Religion seeks to introduce the new knowledge of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the bedrock of education.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo gave new knowledge in 1914 which remain largely unknown, today, in 2024. I keep on repeating many things because there's no better thing to repeat than the significance of their divine appearance on earth and contribution to the intellectual tradition.

There are close to one thousand schools in Odisha bearing the names of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and there seems to be no outward sign of their students following the ideals they were taught. Spirituality, of course, is about inner living.

I heard about the book for the first time. Education surely can come from diverse sources and turning points do arrive in life. Further, something is already sown into our lives which blossoms at the appointed hour. But the tragedy is, a turn towards the evil path is also common!

By the grace of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo the election results indicate that the Modi menace is on the wane and Hindutva's appeal is receding. Many devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have been misguided during the last two decades and let's hope that they realise the mistake. 

What The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have revealed in 1914 can't be subordinated to Western philosophy or Indian mythology. It's the responsibility of the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo to show the supremacy of this knowledge and yoga. Opposing anti-evolutionary forces urgent.

Indira Gandhi was responsible for subverting democratic ethos in the country. But, how does that justify Modi doing exactly the same now? Erasing shameful episodes from school textbooks won't change the consequences of Karma. Higher powers are always there to enforce retribution.

No representation from Muslims in the Govt proves that the Constitution of India has become dysfunctional. Same would have happened to SC/STs had there been no reservation. It's the responsibility of the political parties to give shape to the letter and spirit of the Constitution. 

Debate is on whether BJP losing the 2024 election amounts to a defeat for Hindutva or not. But the analysts are intellectually crippled without any orientation on Sri Aurobindo. Savitri Era Party has been boldly claiming for the last two decades that Hindutva is anti-evolutionary. 

As a child, I disliked mythology and rituals and got to know The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in 1964. The course of my life changed without much effort on my part. This also saved me from being attracted towards other gurus and traditions. What happened to me can happen to anyone else.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo assure that things will change under evolutionary pressure. What's happening right now, in Punjab or elsewhere, is a transitional stage. But, a few individuals can drive change in thinking through their sincerity and persistence.

Whatever literature in Odia I had read during my school and college years, I have mostly forgotten them. I, generally, use Odia, Hindi, English, and Bengali. I also read Sanskrit when required and can understand Punjabi to an extent. But I'm not confident in any of the languages.

There should be sincere effort to read different books of Sri Aurobindo instead of trying to justify pet political theories through random quotations from him. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are not confined to an India or Hindu-centric worldview. So widening own horizon is important. 

Savitri Era Party & Savitri Era Religion are the best alternatives in the present condition of India. Recognising the significance of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's future vision is necessary for all educational institutions so that people turn conscious of their evolutionary roles. 

Sri Aurobindo restores the primacy of the Veda and emphasises that later texts like Upanishads or mythological literature indicate degeneration. By assigning symbolic interpretations to various Vedic deities, he delegitimises the rituals. Understanding this basic fact is crucial.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine who are always present and lead the evolution. I'm not much aware of political situations elsewhere, but in India, it, certainly, looks like a watershed moment as old debates relating to the 20th century seem to be giving way.

A lot of debate goes on around castes and securing votes on their basis is a major concern. We know Sri Aurobindo's position but that may not be applicable in the current situation. Migration, marriage, and modernity is breaking the caste barriers and castes purity is vanishing.

Savitri Era Religion ushers in freedom from mythology, rituals, and superstitions. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo insist on inner living but don't encourage occult practices. Holding on to a rational bent of mind is essential to "fight successfully the great battle of the future...".

Many people are in the habit of mentioning Vivekananda and Sri Aurobindo interchangeably or jointly but thankfully, the practice seen in the photo of CJI in RKM, doing the rounds, has no relevance in Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry. Individual autonomy and dignity are paramount.

Anybody can become an influencer today but only those who are conversant with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings have a greater claim to credibility. I don't find many on this platform to be qualified but learning is a lifelong process and due humility and sincerity is pivotal. 

Hatred on the basis of castes and religion is being fanned constantly. Here the role of Savitri Era Party is very important. We believe in universality and human unity as per the #FiveDreams broadcast by Sri Aurobindo on August 14, 1947. We are not bound by any ancient scripture.

Many gain self-satisfaction by quoting a couple of lines from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings. But the task is a little more complex.

1) Accept them as the one Supreme Divine

2) Surrender all works and thoughts to them

3) Aspire for descent of the Supramental consciousness.

I started Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF) in 2005 for disseminating the philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in response to interdisciplinary environment. Integral movement of Ken Wilber was a rage at that time and many Westerners were aware of Sri Aurobindo to some extent.

Success and personal achievement have a limited role. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo aver that understanding the Veda is far more significant. The Life Divine lays bare the ladder of consciousness that is embedded in the Veda. How the forces of evolution rush for next rung is heady.

Social science took pride in materialistic analysis, and history ignored all occult indications. The Independence of India was chronicled as having nothing to do with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. This is the greatest folly we have been living with for the last seventy seven years!

That was before the World War I. Sri Aurobindo had thought of the term Arya as title of his new journal. He has written on its significance at several places. These days many people feel ecstatic just by using the word Dharma. They forget the kind of hatred and bigotry they spew!

Election results in Odisha has fermented doubts about the EVMs. It's unfortunate that democracy in India has come to be bugged by this nagging suspicion. It's not a question of who wins but why should the ruling party be stoutly defending it. Why to be so certain over technology?

If you are satisfied, it's fine. But the doubt lingers in the public mind. Modalities of democracy should be above suspicion.

To say that human values don't operate where humans are involed seems to be a bit reductionist. To feel that one can change the course of events on his own, isn't totally true. To be aware of the larger picture and evolutionary trajectory is the challenge.

Savitri Era Party is only party which demands a new Constitution purged of all references to castes or religions. There should be complete equality without any discrimination or preferential treatment to anyone. All sorts of affirmative action should be left to political parties.

Life is nothing but a congeries of memories some of which get erased every now and then to make room for fresh inventory. It's impossible to be at different places simultaneously, and hence physical location is the source of most memories which are sequential but inconsequential.

Having undergone the trauma of COVID in 2021 and CABG the next year I'm not very hopeful about spirituality at 68. But the basic existential questions of old age and death are absolutely relevant in the yoga of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. The dream of an ideal society too entices. 

Savitri is the modern-day Veda for the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. As a gospel of Immortality, its regular recitation is normal for many. Apart from the beauty and power suffused in its lines, the occult significance of Mantra is very much palpable, even for scholars.

RSS and BJP owe their existence to Muslims and to a lesser extent, the Christians. Conversion and appeasement etc are mere alibis and euphemisms but the real intent is a Hindu Rashtra where people of other faiths have no place. But Savitri Era Religion can disrupt this neat plan.

My voice doesn't have any appreciable reach but I have been emphasising that historians and journalists shouldn't ignore what happened in 1914. Puducherry was under French rule where The Mother & Sri Aurobindo met and brought out the Arya monthly magazine to set the future agenda. 

Current political issues pertain to a juvenile mentality. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo draw attention to basic problems that the Veda is concerned with. 121 people died yesterday, whereas Immortality is our birthright. AI is not the only avenue of superior wisdom. Consciousness is.
