I left Odisha and came to Delhi in 1988 and since then, it has been a fruitful period of learning and getting oriented with diverse fields. However, my optimism has dwindled over the years due to failure of politics in stimulating any positive change. Let's pray to Sri Aurobindo.

Most are eager to provide a macro view of things that's likely after a decade or so. It's not astrology or any other science. It's just bluffing with sophistication. This faculty of human mind can never be surpassed by AI. Speculation is deemed as true as per number of followers!

Ascent and descent as represented by the two triangles forming Sri Aurobindo's symbol is a unique ontological formulation highlighting the ongoing evolution. The same has been told as the joint action of aspiration and grace in The Mother book. All life is yoga is very much this.

When Nolini left, M.P. Pandit took over as editor of Advent. I was also reading him from World Union and Service Letter. I used to wonder how he is able to integrate such diverse ideas and write in such liquid-like English. Met him in #WorldUnion Conference in Bengaluru, in 1985.

Amusing to read daily debates on what is Hinduism, who is a Hindu, whether India is a Hindu Rashtra, why RSS and BJP are not protecting Hindu interests, how can Hindu traditions be incorporated in Govt programmes, etc. We at Savitri Era Religion are thankfully safe from all these.

When relation with America is strained, let me recollect that I studied B. Sc., B. Ed. (1973-76) in Regional College of Education, Bhubaneswar which was set up by NCERT with American collaboration. It was a great experience with students from the Eastern and North Eastern region.

Chandannagar is Puducherry for this part of the country. Was remembering Sri Aurobindo while moving around and crossing the river. What was the hurry to sail to Puducherry? Because Paul Richard was to arrive there and meeting him was necessary so that The Mother gets the message.

I am following 345 handles as of today and a few of them are acquainted with my account. Most of them are top content creators on this platform with thousands of followers. Many possess high level of professional expertise. However, I don't agree with their views and stand alone.

Apart from the influence of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, family atmosphere and living in different environments has shaped my thinking. The liberal atmosphere of Odisha and the writings of its great sons and daughters have certainly prepared me for the present role in social media. 

Lack of awareness about The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and their philosophy is causing great harm to the country. People are being exploited by various organisations through their divisive ideologies. Savitri Era Religion and Savitri Era Party are the best option in such a situation.

A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking had created an intellectual storm in 1988. I had come to Delhi the same year, and read a long review of it in Caravan. Later, I read The Dancing Wu Li Masters (1979) by Gary Zukav. All these were interesting, but Sri Aurobindo stood out.

Kishor Gandhi wrote books on Sri Aurobindo's socio-political philosophy. Apart from M.P. Pandit, Shyam Sundar Jhunjhunwala used to provide guidance on socio-political issues through Sri Aurobindo's Action. Kittu Reddy was active in this arena but unfortunately turned to Hindutva.

Savitri Era Religion has no institutional bondage or formal ritual, and so, provides complete autonomy to the devotees in the matter of developing relationship with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. It has also the advantage of not being connected with any other religion or philosophy.

Savitri Era Religion doesn't impose any stipulation or restriction on lifestyle choices and personal celebrations. Rather, it encourages innovation and creativity in designing various aspects of collective life, in keeping with the Integral spirit of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

The Mother and Sri Aurobindo were conversant with occult practices and therefore they emphasised silence and exploring inner countries. The outside world however is different and Savitri Era Religion is about love, devotion, and surrender to them for collaboration with evolution.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo belong to the whole world. Their writings have epochal repercussions for the entire humanity. However, worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine is essential for descent of the Supramental consciousness. That is the crux of their philosophy and action.

Being economic units Ashram and Auroville have their own compulsions and limitations whereas Savitri Era Religion is absolutely devotee oriented. The concept of Collective yoga is different from collective meditation or celebration of Special days. No dependence on intermediaries. 

Every year thousands of students take admission in colleges and out of those only a very few study philosophy. They certainly get a different orientation in life which stand them in good stead in professional sphere too. Reading The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's books is similar to it. 

Indians long for technology made by Indians. Westerners too take great care not to cross the boundary of Western philosophy. Hundreds of books are published every year but they wouldn't touch Sri Aurobindo with a barge pole. Philosophy suffers as a result and humanity as a whole.

People were shocked when I talked about politics with relation to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. In the process, I earned more detractors than followers. Launching Savitri Era Religion also added fuel to the fire. But I have carried on singlehandedly with utmost conviction and hope.

The last twenty years are an important period in the intellectual history of India during which most people became confused, and lost their integrity. But thanks to Google Blogspot and Twitter or X, I have been able to provide an independent line of thinking due to Sri Aurobindo.

A compilation of his journal articles from 1942 onwards, The Meeting of the East and the West in Sri Aurobindo's Philosophy by Sisir Kumar Maitra was published in 1956. I was also born, the same year, and am indebted to this book for stimulating my interest in Western philosophy.

Darwin's evolution and Freud's unconscious mind were hanging in the balance and Sri Aurobindo explained them on the basis of the Vedic ladder of consciousness. Descent of Supramental is an inevitability and worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is basic. 

The ladder of consciousness should be understood in conjunction with the four facets of Divine manifestation as delineated by Sri Aurobindo in The Secret of the Veda. Varuna, Aryaman, Mitra, and Bhaga broadly corresponding with Maheshwari et al have social ramification as castes.

While your advocacy for the Hindu cause can't be contested, creating an artifical category like HINOs appears anomalous. How would you explain dividing the Hindu society by such a caste like feature. Besides, is questioning the religious orientation of people in a democracy okay?

There can be many such descriptions but you are basically fighting for the acknowledged Hindu population in India (covered by the Hindu Code for instance). Thus dividing them under the rubric of some arbitrary attribution like HINO is patently a contradiction. It's also insulting.

While one is free to choose his or her food according to personal choice, the same doesn't hold good for philosophy. Following a faulty philosophy can lead a person to disastrous decisions. The Vedic worldview as restored by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is the safest course in life. 

Subscribing to an ideology or narrative that suits one's social and cultural background is common among people. The job of philosophy, however, is to jolt the mind out of the comfort zone. Without the audacity of claiming any spiritual experience or realisation, may I affirm that whatever I'm writing today is the result of cumulative intellectual activity spanning seven decades. One is liable to be misguided without adequate reading. Sri Aurobindo demands reading.

Supporting evolutionary forces is important but Savitri Era Party fails to find anyone in the current political milieu of India. Similarly, it doesn't take any stand on international situation since it's so chaotic. But churning is on and will lead to Sri Aurobindo's #WorldUnion.

Savitri Era Religion, valiantly, believes that The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises. This liberates from the bondage of mythologies and imagined narratives of manufactured history. Reading Savitri can usher in harmony.

Savitri Era Religion is the most modern and rational religion backed by a coherent metaphysics. It operates at the psychological level without any external prop. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine amounts to conscious collaboration with evolution.

Reading the books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for their content shouldn't be the only objective. Understanding them takes long but reading on a regular basis creates an atmosphere of serenity and harmony. The very mechanical process of reading has its own effect and vibrations.

Integral education is known in a far wider circle than Integral yoga. It also features in the University syllabus. Further, there are over a thousand schools in the county dedicated to this ideal. NEP 2020, too, is said to have elements of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's teachings.

Universal unconditional love doesn't expect anything in return. Top professionals blending their experience with spirituality is a rarity. Dr. R.L. Kashyap was able to accomplish a lot vis-à-vis Veda. And Dr. Ramesh Bijlani continues to radiate his wisdom.

Decent people are generally reticent about their religious belief and most devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are ultra-decent in this respect. But this also helps to be diplomatic and avoid taking any firm stand. Savitri Era Religion and Savitri Era Party provide confidence.

Many new States have taken birth in India and creation of new Nations in future can't be ruled out. Geopolitical transformations are very much part of evolutionary plan and it would be much more profitable to explore such possibilities instead of constantly delving into the past.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine also involves thinking about why their background, culture, or historical circumstances were so dissimilar and complex. But then it's all in the scheme of evolution. The Life Divine couldn't be written before Darwin. 

While Sri Aurobindo is waxing eloquent about the concept of Avatar in The Essays on the Gita, the same is conspicuous by its absence in his magnus opus, The Life Divine. Moreover the problem has been compounded by the Divine Manifestation of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo themselves.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the fundamental tenet of Savitri Era Religion. Thus, overlooking many of their historical contexts and utterances is necessary. Devotees need to be sensitive not to insist on literal interpretation of cold print.

Savitri Era Religion owing allegiance to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is also an excellent alternative. Savitri stands for aspiration for Immortality as enshrined in the Veda & The Life Divine sets forth an evolutionary path for mankind through descent of Supramental consciousness.

Being a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, I had encouraged my daughters to study philosophy in the college, and both of them are authors. Family influence and parental inducement has a great role in the realm of education, and The Mother traces it back to the prenatal stage.

Many devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are connected with public institutions or hold official positions. Obviously, they pursue their agenda and seek to further own career. But those who pretend to be devotees just because of their official posting should never be believed.

There are more than a dozen handles for copy-paste from the writings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Reading snippets is not a very effective way of learning about their philosophy. Engaging with people or responding to current affairs has the potential for attracting attention.

Use of religion for political purpose and extending religious rituals to lifestyle matters are cause of its decline. Modern mind refuses to abide by such coercive measures. Savitri Era Religion, deriving its existence from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, promises to transform future.

Hegel spent a lot of time with Indian philosophy whatever was available to him in translation at that point of time. He also wrote on them quite a bit but unfortunately he confused between Brahman and Brahmin and America seems to have caught the contagion.

Surprisingly, not many are around who write on The Mother & Sri Aurobindo after the demise of direct disciples. This is due to people are reluctant to be identified with any single subject. Cafeteria approach, as Gagdad Bob once called it, is preferred to.

India was being ruled by scores of kings and there was no uniform culture or social structure. Linguistic diversity prevented large scale scholarly documentation or evaluation of social reality. Yet there's no dearth of people who are fond of describing these things clairvoyantly! 

Having observed functioning and evolution of democracy in our country during the last sixty years, I'm of the view that full efflorescence of democracy isn't possible democratically. Like gold ornaments it must include some alloy. Modi is the first PM with complete hold on party.

It's necessary to understand that religion is an emotional issue but a superstition too. There was no god before man since all gods are products of human imagination. Thus assuming that one's own religion is the best is nothing but self-delusion. Savitri Era Religion is rational.

The Mother came to India to meet Sri Aurobindo on March 29, 1914 and left her body on November 17, 1973. Apart from her varied material achievements, she & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises.

Savitri Era Party reiterates its demand for returning the ownership and administration of Matrimandir and Auroville to the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the purpose of the Govt takeover has been resolved long back. Govt needs to be sensitive towards such new religions. 

No person is able to take care of his or her own nutrition in a perfect manner. So, to expect the same individual to select a political party or choose the right candidate by studying their past, present, and future is a tall order. Imposing such onerous burden on him is absurd.

So many people are expressing negative comments about Auroville without realising that it's directly under the control of the Central Govt. So whatever good or bad happens there Govt is responsible for that. Further expressing hatred for foreigners in a blanket manner is inhuman.

Close study of The works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and their prophecies clearly reveals a dismal future for the dominant religions. Savitri Era Religion with its modern and evolutionary approach will cause the collapse of its predecessors. Uttarpara speech is merely embryonic

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine enjoins the responsibility that their words are not blindly accepted as self-evident truth. Understanding the context of their various books, compilations, and conversations is important for drawing right insights.

The Veda, in Sri Aurobindo's context, is not about mastering the Sanskrit text but rather understanding the internal meaning of various terms and names. Imagining the deities as a ladder of consciousness in consonance with what Sri Aurobindo lays out in The Life Divine is the key. 

IIT Jodhpur is in news, and it appears to be a better candidate to set up an arm in Auroville than the current favourite, Chennai. If such is the environment in IITs, then perhaps it matches the ongoing tussle among Auroville’s residents, with Govt of India as a silent spectator.
