Navajyoti was a new revolution

Uma haimavati appears in Kenopanishada but unfortunately no one understands her significance. Etymological clues are also ambivalent. But she holds the key to unlock the Veda. This story is the most direct way of telling symbolic meanings of Vedic deities. https://t.co/j2yyrYwtq2

What's the best way for establishing Sri Aurobindo's relevance? His work is overshadowed by the crowded contemporary scene. Yet, the hope of a harmonious society is a lingering theme in most of his writings. Not just reforms but by Transformation of consciousness lent from above.

An article on illegal fund raising by D.P. Chattopadhyaya as a Congress Minister has been published. His books however should be of concern of the present generation. His magisterial, "Sri Aurobindo and Karl Marx" is an excellent treatise for understanding the current situation.

Sri Aurobindo wrote down everything modern Indians need to know in ARYA (1914 - 21) and all later day philosophies are misleading. It's a matter of regret that the present govt is reluctant to give the honour to Sri Aurobindo that he so eminently deserves.
https://t.co/UQxaFg5zR7

The Veda includes so many things. They were compiled at different points of time signifying distilled wisdom of a long pre-Vedic era and a vast geographical expanse. What's known as Hindu on the contrary is a later formulation with much adulteration and Hindutva is still narrower

It isn't my fault that though born and brought up in a traditional Hindu family, I found more meaning in the teaching of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. No doubt it needs some effort which I find others aren't very particular about. Most are satisfied with the ordinary religious mode.

Seed of Integral Yoga is hybrid since "design of Sri Aurobindo's symbol is very similar to that of Théon's." The Cosmology of The Life Divine is a response to Darwin. There are various other streams and rivulets culminating in SAVITRI. It's a huge Evolutionary project for future.

Bengal Renaissance is a cause for constant irritation to Hindutva and today's victim is Vivekananda. Savitri Era Religion (since 2006) is the best option in this context. No court approval for birth of any new religion is necessary but Elst indicating the same can be misleading.

Story of the West between Ludwig Feuerbach (1804–1872) and Jean Gebser (1905–1973) can be considered as the most crucial vis-à-vis Evolution.
From Raja Ram Mohan Roy (1772–1833) to Sri Aurobindo (1872–1950) & Mirra Alfassa (1878–1973) is an interesting parallel in Indian context.
Navajyoti took birth a couple of years after me and by the time I was able to read, some old issues were already part of the library in our village home. Right reading material at the right time therefore is extremely important in one's life. #SriAurobindo

Many new religions have developed around Gandhi, Nehru, Tagore, Subhas, Periyar, Ambedkar, Savarkar, et al. Facts are essential.

1920: The Mother has returned back with new experiences and renewed resolve to make the world see light. Nothing is secure not even her equations with Sri Aurobindo or his associates. ARYA has done its job; something else is needed. An experiment of living in a spiritual commune.

From my list of top 108 Hindu handles, I observe that no two persons agree on any matter. Fierce fighting is on on various counts. Obviously there's no common ground nor any solution to age-old contradictions. Sri Aurobindo refused to be in favour of reforms which was respectable

Sri Aurobindo was a keen observer of Indian scene, especially the intellectual melting pot of 19th century culminating in the confusion that Vivekananda preached with unfounded certainty. His stress on Vedanta became outdated after Sri Aurobindo revealed "The Secret of the Veda."

From 95 Theses to 22 Pledges, only the froth has been seen as profound fermentation. ARYA (1914 - 21) is a tangible event in World history which can no longer be ignored. A must read for all irrespective of prejudices against Sri Aurobindo as an escapist or inaugurator of a cult.
The best way to look at the galaxy of great men involved in the struggle for independence is that they are all different characters in a gigantic play. That way the scene becomes interesting instead of blaming them for the part they played. This in fact is the spiritual approach.

By writing on diverse themes in ARYA month after month for six and a half years, Sri Aurobindo built a firm foundation for a future civilisation by laying down universal principles and showing solutions for common challenges. Essential reading for negotiating ethical quandaries.

Encouragement of a purer sattwic element is the business of ethics, says Sri Aurobindo in SoY which implies that everything is not wired or predetermined. There's always a choice for redesigning the future in which the nature or the result of action don't actually matter too much.

Amusing to read tweets on diverse issues plus puerile responses from very sensible people. Reading Sri Aurobindo is such a foundation that there's no confusion or vacillation. But most are content with stray quotations. How this deficit can be met is a big intellectual challenge.

Many intellectuals worked consistently and pushed narrative to bring the present Govt. to power but they have not been rewarded adequately. Their sense of satisfaction however is more vital. But they missed the opportunity of reading Sri Aurobindo's books. https://t.co/UQxaFgnaIF

Year after year, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo repeated one simple thing. That faith, sincerity and surrender are the basic tools. Nothing to do with anti-intellectualism or anti-work mentality but to understand that mind is not always a safe guide. Excessive individualism can fail.

Sri Aurobindo is the only top leader active in the Bande Mataram (Partition of Bengal) movement in 1905 to have seen Independence in 1947 and Constitution in 1950. In between he also navigated through two World Wars. He also saw assassination of Gandhi but historians neglect him.

The Mother returned back in 1920 and seeds of a formal Ashram was sown. She was enthusiastic in 1972 that Sri Aurobindo's teaching should reach every home. Auroville conflict unfortunately was a dampener but their vision hasn't lost an iota of relevance. Indians need to recognise

Speaking of fiction, perhaps the closest one to the logic of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is that slim but great book by Richard Bach: Jonathan Livingston Seagull https://t.co/Auh9ahFrvb

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo postulated reconfiguration of Cell functioning as an Evolutionary necessity for attaining Immortality. Hope, this is a step forward in the direction of unraveling that mystery. How much volition or yoga can really engineer changes in biological process.

The self-evident validity and legitimacy of the Gandhi-Nehru-Tagore-Radhakrishnan consensus has been challenged successfully but by not replacing that with Sri Aurobindo's multifaceted architecture, a vacuum has been created. Those who rush in to fill that huge space are pygmies.

Education aspect is very important in the present context. Without a firm anchor and proper direction, drifting is easy. Sri Aurobindo represents Modernity imbibing the best elements from tradition. No better example of a right mix than his yogic insights. https://t.co/ngN6ehiJ9C

Veda doesn't mean that one has to go through complex poetical creations in dreary Sanskrit. Sri Aurobindo has made the job easier by psychological interpretation of the deities. The Secret of the Veda by him explained originally in English is an essential reading for all Indians.

Past continues because of the vacuum but Sri Aurobindo is relevant for the future scenario. Not many are convinced about that and the young generation suffers. Understanding the secrets of SAVITRI is extremely necessary for fighting the Coronavirus crisis. Also Secret of the Veda.

Sri Aurobindo in The Human Cycle visualises more or less an identical scenario but not with such extreme or reductionist consequences. He looks forward to radical ruptures in the texture of consciousness so that the whole template of aesthetics undergoes drastic transformations.

4. Rescuing Sri Aurobindo from anachronistic portrayals and snares of literalism
5. Interventions for including Sri Aurobindo in the Western discourse, especially in academic philosophy
6. Reclaiming the word Integral for restoring to it The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's connotations.

TV and Internet teach in a variety of ways apart from general and professional education plus job experience. Still, the situation of any individual is precarious and lopsided. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo invite to examine what is missing. They tell about the hidden forces of life

A major mistake many are prone to is overlooking The Mother when she indeed is the foundation. Writings of Sri Aurobindo can give a very discordant picture without her harmonising effect. No wonder, Sri Aurobindo brought the ARYA to an end after her final arrival a century back.

Many don't know that Sri Aurobindo was a Christian and The Mother, a Jew. So, there is nothing unusual about their Western connection. Besides, their collaboration in bringing out ARYA in August 1914 was meant for integration of East and West by elbowing out Theosophical Society.

Freedom has negative connotations; freedom from some original bondage, tyranny, or subservience. So achieving freedom is supposed to be a struggle and constant striving. One possible meaning of All life is yoga is this. Sri Aurobindo chose the word Arya to convey this imperative.

ARYA writings of Sri Aurobindo (1914-21) were meant for removing many confusions accumulated over the previous century both in India and the West. This herculean task has not been adequately appreciated during the last 100 years. Votaries of Indian wisdom and values must wake up.

This brilliant thread tells the history but can't locate the invisible hand of Sri Aurobindo who later wrote [We welcome it all the more because it seems to be conceived in the same free and synthetic spirit as animates this Review. -Arya Aug 1914]. Tilak spoke about him in jail.

There's a misconception that Sri Aurobindo is not a philosopher because once he had remarked so. One of his best philosophical writings is The Problem of Rebirth which was serialised in ARYA 100 years back. He never gave the impression of resolving the mystery of Karma. Must read

After completing six successful volumes the first issue of the seventh volume of ARYA was published in August 1920. No one knew that it will stop midway and the last issue was January 1921. Sri Aurobindo overturned the wisdom of past six thousand years in these six and half years https://t.co/baEjklM6oK

BJP is in power and RSS has the remote but though their ideological lines are not very clear and they somehow revel in ambivalence, young Indians must search for authentic sources of knowledge and justifications independently. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo had launched ARYA in 1914.

Sri Aurobindo is pivotal to history

Right understanding of the past is essential for possessing a sound perspective for the future. History of ideas has been a fertile field since May 1968. Attemts like The Human Condition can be accused of a tilt... So, exerercising utmost caution while... https://t.co/fWYJ4YspBX

TV and Internet teach in a variety of ways apart from general and professional education plus job experience. Still, the situation of any individual is precarious and lopsided. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo invite to examine what is missing. They tell about the hidden forces of life.

Inferiority complex is so rampant in India that no one dares to occupy the top position but Savitri Era Party has no competition today in terms of ideology and future vision. But the copy-paste brigade unfortunately fail to realise this opportunity and are content with servility.

The best way to look at the galaxy of great men involved in the struggle for independence is that they are all different characters in a gigantic play. That way the scene becomes interesting instead of blaming them for the part they played. This in fact is the spiritual approach.

The right way to know about Sri Aurobindo is to understand in what respects he differs from his contemporaries like Vivekananda, Tilak, Tagore, Gandhi, or Brajendra Nath Seal. They were all influenced by the West yet in highly differing ways. Current discourse should take lessons.

This is the first honest portrayal of Sri Aurobindo as a Theory hand as Neelakandan has been very reluctant and constipated in the past. Still the full throated acclaim is awaited but he has been able to show who the real boss is. Now all books need to be recalibrated or rejected.

It's heartening to see more and more people learning about and developing appreciation for Sri Aurobindo. But it's not an easy task as it takes at least a decade. Working for Savitri Era Party OTOH can impart the right orientation and sense of achievement and no school or college.

Amusing to notice tweets quoting Sri Aurobindo validating gods and goddesses as if it's his main work. People are so bonded to the past that they even use The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for this. Strange that devotees don't accept them fully and put their legs in two different boats.

My request is to incorporate the arguments on Karma presented by Sri Aurobindo (in both prose and poetry)... It’s good that Lele is pragmatically arriving there without reading Sri Aurobindo... Lele will find a very good authority for his “cherry picking.” https://t.co/lDRhCw9D6t

For many years it was mainstream and everyone believed in the same paradigm. So much so that even Girilal Jain had to wait for his retirement. Now also most seem to have succumbed to a similar kind of smugness but Savitri Era Party keeps on reminding them about lack of legitimacy.

Disinformation campaigns have multiplied and institutional initiative needed to unearth truth. But a basic challenge is to accept the new interpretation of the Veda by Sri Aurobindo so that falsehoods can be dismantled. Research on root sounds will open many pathways to meaning.

2. History may or may not repeat but it definitely rhymes and it rhymes with clarion amplification when political conditions in country spin out with same issues. The urge in the people to revive history gathers momentum once they are settled with a belief that for considerable period their rights are thrown to wind by not hitting at the root cause of problems which they are grappling with. Hindutva is one of such topics which have long hermeneutical history, right wing ideologues hold Hindutva in high regard at epistemological level and for left leaning intellectuals, Hindutva is force of devastation which inherently foments divisiveness in the society.

Promoting Sanskrit is ill advised

I keep on revising my Twitter bio and here are the latest:

The magnitude of issues Twitter shuffles is too onerous for any person and added to it fake and sponsered content. Each one is dispensing or disbursing something. So, the concept of discourse is missing. Still, it's reach and utility is incomparable.
Those who are drawn towards the vortex of Sanskrit texts in their youthful enthusiasm are inviting trouble for all their life. One text will lead to another and then multiple commentaries etc. would rob many pleasures and cause vertigo. Sri Aurobindo's English translations safer.
Promoting Sanskrit means bondage with the past. Absurd mythology, politically incorrect glorifications, and archaic grammar rules etc. Modern Indian languages have successfully negotiated present challenges and are infinitely better to be given priority. So, no Sanskrit in school.
Anything written in Sanskrit seems to be self-evident truth. This impression is wrong; even the Vedas and Upanishads are at best theories, a certain perspective since nothing has been finally proved. Thus, English and local language are the best tools. A new two-language formula.

I am thinking more and more these days that Sanskrit and Hindi need not be seen as two different languages, but as two different registers of a single language continuum.
Other Indian languages can also be seen similarly, with Sanskrit register being an inherent part of language.
https://twitter.com/vakibs/status/1298722907351179265?s=19
The power of Sanskrit: fecund word formation, technical precision, copious vocabulary etc. can all be borrowed within Hindi (or Telugu, Bengali, Marāthi, Malayalam etc), while the basic grammar for tense and case modalities can remain with Hindi. Is that really a problem?
Of course, Sanskrit can be treated as an independent language in it’s own right. And people can study that separately. But memorizing thousands of tense and case endings just to speak a sentence will be hard for novices. Why should we insist on making this hard journey for all?

3. Not too constructive, but let's say it again. The NEP shows a hopeless RSS-BJP desire to push Hindi instead of Engl. Rajendra Prasad 1949 rendered India an enormous disservice by giving his deciding vote to Hindi, not Skt. In replacing Eng, Skt would have had a fighting chance.

Human nature can't be compared with anything else; they are just indicators. Sri Aurobindo stresses on Fraternity - the third formula - on the Vedic Mitra-Varuna principle. We are moving towards that.

It’s really disconcerting to find so much of disagreement after so much of explanations and clarifications. That of course is in the nature of philosophy.

And, if I’m correct, then it will be a big breakthrough for Indian philosophy; Lele will find a very good authority for his “cherry picking.”

K.R. Srinivasa Iyengar's biography of Sri Aurobindo is till date the best one. It is not "hagiography" at all. It is subtly critical n balanced. When d subject's name is Sri Aurobindo one has to be extremely careful. Criticise we must but on bended knees!

I find Sri Aurobindo’s views very interesting. I grew up as a teenager in NY in a community with people who were his followers and who had spent periods of time at Auroville. My father visited Auroville and met The Mother in the 1970s. However, Lele’s views are inconsistent with Aurobindo, because Lele is a naturalist who rejects reincarnation. I expect Lele would also reject Aurobindo’s view of Nature (as Prakṛiti, in which the Divine works in a goal-directed way). So, Lele is really very far away from Aurobindo.

The Mother is the President of World Union

August 20 is the World Union Day about which Sri Aurobindo theorised elaborately in The Ideal of Human Unity. He reiterated it as his Third Dream three decades later. The Mother is the President of #WorldUnion and let's pray that her unfailing guidance and blessings are with us.

Sri Aurobindo is the only top leader active in the Bande Mataram (Partition of Bengal) movement in 1905 to have seen Independence in 1947 and Constitution in 1950. In between he also navigated through two World Wars. He also saw assassination of Gandhi but historians neglect him.
Born on August 15, 1872, Sri Aurobindo started writing on political matters in 1893. But his open confrontation with Congress came when it split at Surat in 1907. He also had blessings for formation of Swaraj Party in 1923 by
Chittaranjan Das, Motilal Nehru, and Vithalbhai patel.
In the wake of rising spectre of Hitler, Sri Aurobindo threw his weight behind British initiatives. His
four epochal interventions are:
~ 1940: War Funds
~ 1942: Cripps Proposal
~ 1945: Wavell Plan
~ 1946: Cabinet Mission Proposals

The Mother returned back in 1920 and seeds of a formal Ashram was sown. She was enthusiastic in 1972 that Sri Aurobindo's teaching should reach every home. Auroville conflict unfortunately was a dampener but their vision hasn't lost an iota of relevance. Indians need to recognise.

Vital is a vital category in Sri Aurobindo's teaching. It's crucial for our existence but needs to be under the control of a strong mind. Higher vital helps but lower vital has the habit of dragging downwards. And, mere control is not enough; Sri Aurobindo aims at transformation.

After completing six successful volumes the first issue of the seventh volume of ARYA was published in August 1920. No one knew that it will stop midway and the last issue was January 1921. Sri Aurobindo overturned the wisdom of past six thousand years in these six and half years https://t.co/baEjklM6oK

Most people imbibe psychology lessons from movies since academic opportunities are rare. Nothing wrong but human affairs are so complex that even after sixty years one feels perplexed. Besides the spiritual spectrum is hardly interrogated. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo help in this.
Sri Aurobindo's admirers are in millions but somehow they don't come out openly. Response on Twitter yesterday gives the hope that right things will be appreciated and respected, widely. The time has come, it seems; no one can stop his place of being the "Bharata bhagya bidhata."
The Mother & Sri Aurobindo seek transformation of human nature and that can happen anywhere. So, ownership on #SriAurobindo is absurd. Opening to his Vedic ontological formulations and collaborating with Evolutionary forces for materialising the possibilities therein is the task.
Devotion not enough; right understanding is indispensable. Speed is fruitless sans right direction. Make no mistake, admiration for other great men is a barrier for reaching at the teachings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Maintain loyalty to work for humanity and not nationality.

This is the first honest portrayal of Sri Aurobindo as a Theory hand as Neelakandan has been very reluctant and constipated in the past. Still the full throated acclaim is awaited but he has been able to show who the real boss is. Now all books need to be recalibrated or rejected
Yes. He has shown a clear connection of Ambedkar deriving clues from Sri Aurobindo. Now, that's only one instance which can open floodgates of PhD topics. And it comes in the wake of hot debates over some fundamental issues raised by the Shankaracharya of Puri. So, interesting!

Selecting the right lens

Right understanding of the past is essential for possessing a sound perspective for the future. History of ideas has been a fertile field since May 1968. Attemts like The Human Condition can be accused of a tilt but each book has its own merit. So, exerercising utmost caution while offering any linear narrative is vital.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo present an altogether different spectrum studded with large doses of speculation. Their view of the past needs to be analysed transcending the threshold of faith and devotion. Let's hope Lele succeeds where Wilber failed.

Something about internally related drops of experience perishing into objective immortality in the consequent nature of God... Savitri Era is the keynote

Once upon a time there was a book called "The Celestine Prophecy" which ruled for 3-4 years. It showed invisible interconnectedness and how we are propelled like puppets. Many were influenced and their lives changed. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo keep on reminding of such a reality.

Speaking of fiction, perhaps the closest one to the logic of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is that slim but great book by Richard Bach: Jonathan Livingston Seagull https://t.co/Auh9ahFrvb

Many are calling upon the citizens to remain united but what's the central glue? Unfortunately the country has failed to identify this even after seven decades. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo alone provide that keynote but our intellectuals have been myopic in not picking up that key https://t.co/2rPMQefeCQ

Deluge of content is driving people to more and more tiktokisation or fragmentation of consciousness whereas The Mother & Sri Aurobindo insisted on integration. This is an ontological U-turn whereby one discovers a central guiding force within oneself that's shaping future course

Sri Aurobindo arrived in the Tamil land on April 4, 1910. His prediction of the future is the only solution. The task is to understand and accept which can save from strenuous speculation. The role of The Mother is also crucial. Some are trying to malign her which is unfortunate!

Basic political lessons:
1. Upfront authoritarianism is better than clandestine dictatorship
2. Open revision of history or narrative is better than secret, invisible, or round about manoeuvre
3. Brazen fakery or clumsiness is better than its sophisticated or ivory tower versions

1. Hazardous to speculate long term in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic.
2. Time has a role and present status of RSS is not rock solid.
3. Drastic changes are possible in next five years.
4. Dynastification of Congress created a vacuum of which RSS is merely a beneficiary. https://t.co/Qogji93XeM

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo postulated reconfiguration of Cell functioning as an Evolutionary necessity for attaining Immortality. Hope, this is a step forward in the direction of unraveling that mystery. How much volition or yoga can really engineer changes in biological process.

The sense of entitlement of some on Twitter is amazing. They say they would have made a much better Prime Minister without of course the inconvenience of contesting in any election. And this section of citizens regularly calls others as fascists and warns against authoritarianism

First codification; then implementation. First laying down the tenets and then following them. Thus be it Quality or Dharma, the blueprint is essential for building. Domain knowledge, therefore, is crucial; respecting it essential. This is the lesson number One of Dharma practice https://t.co/XAXTE5irXJ

2016 - I hit upon the idea that overpopulation is at the root of all problems of India. Further, each language is a distinct nation like the European countries and hence the States should be granted Sovereignty under a loose Federation. Replica #WorldUnion https://t.co/EFP6ZCnPE9

Granting Sovereignty to the States can itself form an alliance of 20 to 30 Nations with immense international clout. Local innovation and enhanced decibel level on multilateral fronts can really create an impact. Going the USSR way is the finest solution; also for US and China.

It was pretty historical by juxtaposing himself and Sri Aurobindo. The latter has never recovered in the public eye.

Almost all information on The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are in black and white. No one can add anything new except wild speculations and manufactured allegations. Yes, all enjoy the right to creative expressions like Heehs and entertaining adda opportunities. https://t.co/PMx3cykhSj

I have been complaining against Marxist historians for ignoring Sri Aurobindo. Arunoday is a good person and well intentioned. He has expertise on many spheres but not on Sri Aurobindo. He should avoid writing on him till he reads adequately. Insulting The Mother too is not good.

No, AB is not a Marxist; he is staunchly against them. He like most RW handles doesn't follow me. I provide authentic information and objective views; a rarity in the present milieu. Yet most prefer what's pleasing instead of harsh truth. Being abreast of critical opinion needed.

Till now we are reading distorted history. So, if you can dig out the truth, that would be great. It's not the question of any person or organisation; their reputation matters little before the truth. So, there's no barrier; Indians deserve to know their past without adulteration.

Unfinished agenda and Evolutionary forces are sure to make it happen. Bande Mataram was written for Bengal and not for India. The song should be returned to the rightful owners. Sovereignty to the States is the best solution in the present circumstances. Colonial legacy must end.

1. By Colonial legacy, I meant India. It should return to its original status of multiple Kingdoms/States. Each language is a nation and must be recognised as such
2. As regards the song, it was of Bengal, for Bengal, and by Bengal. Most don't know that and it should be respected

"The key to happiness is setting realisable goals" but the Constitution of India is a compendium of myths. Such high standards are not humanly possible and so it flounders. Assuming that a MP will take care of thousands of families is a superstition. Hence, Sovereignty to States.

Democracy is a peace time pastime. The State comes to the rescue during a crisis. Thus the State needs to be near; within hearing distance. That's participatory unlike the present abstract or imperial model. Indians must turn India into a #BharataFederation as part of #WorldUnion

Ancient monuments of Greece, Rome, or Turkey are standing tall but in India they are all underground. Is there any particular reason for this? Recently a huge temple appeared from the bed of #Mahanadi in #Odisha. #PrachiValley is still shrouded in mystery. https://t.co/N5ykrF3ABR

India is running like a federation for the past two and a half months. So, CMs are in control. Modi isn't wholly responsible. Looking it that way is defective.

From the safety of my home, it's difficult to understand the kind of hardships so many are going through but then implementation of any policy will create its own victims. It's an unprecedented situation and the authorities are at pains in safeguarding the interests of citizens.

All are mental health experts now, but the same old foolishness and stupidity. Just successful social adjustment is not the solution; it's like moving in a round and round. Evolution imparts meaning, gives direction, and enhances worth. Only The Mother & Sri Aurobindo teach this.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo emphasise that the earth is one. They also express their dissatisfaction with the present political order and foresee a #WordUnion. It's an Evolutionary inevitability and no specific method has been set. Thus, this crisis is not without a silver lining.

When I'm hungry or thirsty, it's a human question; nothing to do with my religion, nationality, or linguistic ethnicity. This virus crisis, similarly, concerns the whole humanity. If it's not being tackled on that basis, then a greater disease afflicts the human race. Needs cure.

Most of life is basically a quest for direction. More important because of the plethora of options at every step. Many are oblivious but somehow are led towards it. Mere moving forward may not be the right way. Making a conscious decision is finally the sign of a diligent person.

Raja is about unadulterated merriment without much religious obligations or austerity. But it's not just tradition or mere repetition. Its occult significance has much to do with the current crisis if one is conversant with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Yoga reposes responsibility.

It's not just a material or medical problem; the occult Evolutionary dimension is far more profound. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have spoken about such prospects much earlier. Unfortunately our Universities refuse to examine these aspects of futurology and students remain ignorant.

Weighty dimensions: Sri Aurobindo as a politician, Sri Aurobindo as a poet, Sri Aurobindo as a philosopher, or Sri Aurobindo as a yogi. But his most important work was at the level of body cells. Something the current crisis has much to imbibe and subscribe to; Vedic Immortality.

The virus is a killer and also a teacher. So many things were taken almost for granted all these years but nothing is assured now. Understanding life and its meaning was getting neglected, or even ignored. But no, the basics have to be learnt anew from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

Lack of accountability is understandable but why transparency deficit? Who authorises such stupidity?

Evolution is scouting for footholds

Yes that's rhetorical
Not a fact.
Unanimity is not the right criteria for a verdict on this complex subject. Better to keep the debate open.

That's not a good idea; a journal or magazine shouldn't be an encyclopaedia. Variety keeps readers engaged and retains the scope for emergent topics. Focus turns it staid and drains out energy to innovate or the necessity to be interesting so as to attract new readers. Just my 2c

Lockdown brings home the point that one's true ownership is over his home only. Yet, megalomania drives many to lecture on territories of whole countries and continents. Local should gain relevance and grow preponderance for driving out mentality of adolescence and false vanity.

Hero worship sustains self-esteem but ambition and critical scrutiny is necessary to find the right hero. Religion and culture resist this requisite as a result of which most rot in juvenility. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo provide the needed intellectual nourishment for growing up.

Well articulated but the solution in the transformed scenario is not very clear. That's because there's no philosophical approach although philosophy is at the very base of political right. Sri Aurobindo has wrote on these themes in detail but unfortunately they remain neglected.

Sanatan bandwagon is pushing Sanskrit but important for Savitri Erans to cling to SAVITRI in English. Reading one random page a day can do wonders. This is the only way to help ourselves till any reliable vaccine is found for Coronavirus. And therefore, it isn't merely religious.

Babaji Maharaj was emphatic about Nama Japa. It's a potent tool. Reciting SAVITRI has the power of lifting the atmosphere to a higher wave length. Mantra acts at the intersection of physical voice turning into transformative energy. Body is a chemical plant; voice is therapeutic.

Important to remember this responsibility. Aspiration for Supramental with necessary purity and intensity is the key. Meddling in current affairs or peddling piecemeal solutions is like fiddling when a city burns. Evolution is scouting for footholds for its next big leap forward.

The world around us functions through interplay of various elements of human nature. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo sought to transform their very foundation so that a better collective life emerges. Advent of Supramental force has the power to alter the basics. Otherwise, no escape.

We are used to a doctored Gandhi, a manicured Tagore, or a sanitised Subhas but the truth is that the truth is elsewhere. So, instead of reacting to sundry portrayals, creating one's own picture is fidelitous. In fact, that's how the world runs since Barthes' Birth of the Reader.

Blake you mention often but please check if the same inspiration can be traced to Coleridge or even Schiller. I think there's scope for some slackening of the strict fourfold mould for exploring more rarefied regions of flexible nature. Key ideas elsewhere https://t.co/RBQUVpf0O0

Tagore's popularity in Bengal hinges upon his upfront juxtaposing or even braiding personal or private feelings with emancipatory religious sentiments which the older Bhakti tradition had tried to camouflage behind mythological characters. Sri Aurobindo however would steer clear.

I was born and brought up in a traditional agricultural family in an Odisha village with round the year religious festivals. Now, like many others, I worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the Supreme Divine and try to follow their teaching. Castles of old religions will collapse.

The Mother famously said our aim is not success, it's perfection. It's a valiant proclamation in the face of practically no signs of any silver lining. So, repeating these has much utility. There are a million ways to escape but only one way to stay put. Her another timeless gem.

Despite my shoestring knowledge on international affairs, India, USA, and China going the USSR way is an Evolutionary inevitability. When and how early peple accept this reality depends upon how much Coronavirus can act as a catalyst or thrust its threat to make them fall in line

One is rightsizing for efficiency. Second is Sri Aurobindo foresees a #WorldUnion which can take shape and function efficiently once the hegemony of huge nations are over. So, more democratic and federal sentiments can grow to encompass global proportions. https://t.co/Cx6YQuApn5

Religion is an important factor in present day political discourse which transcends nationalities. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo however are confident of its loosing steam and succumbing to Evolutionary urge for human unity. Coronavirus is forcing this notion of We-are-one-as-humans

Perhaps the most important aspect to understand in Sri Aurobindo's philosophy is that Divine virtues or embodiments belonging to the typal world. Sri Aurobindo puts the human being with his psychic being one step ahead. He can transcend his limitations and be a part of Evolution.

Odia can be considered a near-dead language now as movies and media use a mixed variety. Difficult to fight against the times and so preservation of pure Odia songs of the second half of the last century is important. Books or art forms are less important. https://t.co/HEjJerDKVg

It's useless to say something unless supported by data. Yes, agreed but Intuition is something that transcends data. Sympathy and intensity of emotions can create a situation of Knowledge by identity. Like how gas clouds condense to form new stars. No permanent foe for Evolution.

I'm no fan but feel relieved that a man from grassroots having years of training under RSS is the Prime Minister at the time of an unprecedented crisis. Any more competent or qualified person would have been a misfit. It's not about handling the crisis but about knowing the pains

Migrant workers' crisis has shown that they don't have to migrate. Sovereignty to States can make it possible. This is a new opportunity of State level nationality and rebuilding economy with cultural landscape intact. Central govt. is absolutely redundant in this whole scenario.

Lockdown has brought into focus the role of a safe home but most Indians are deprived of that. A 2BHK flat should be available at ₹10 Lakh across the country and necessary policies should be a priority. Shipra Riviera, Indirapuram, with 1260 flats, is still a model to replicate.

In a crisis situation like this, at least three States can be said to have exhibited sufficient independence and autonomy without much help from the Centre. They are Odisha, West Bengal, and Kerala. This new found confidence can be contagious with languages as fissiparous factor.

Many are ridiculing the focus on local. Now, consider a scenario with the States as sovereign and they compete with each other. How invigorating the same situation becomes without altering much of the realities! So, Independence is crucial for unlocking the true local potentials.

From Evolutionary perspective, it's a difficult job to judge. Ordinary notions of Reforms and Development are crucial but the incremental and cumulative dimensions may not be conducive. So, the emergence aspect retains its relevance. Present crisis seems to be pregnant with that.

New Age and Management popularised notions like leadership, success, and wellbeing. They have brought them into focus as achievable. There's no denying that a tremendous degree of success has been possible during the last two decades. Yet, expecting continuous growth is doubtful.

Education aspect is very important in the present context. Without a firm anchor and proper direction, drifting is easy. Sri Aurobindo represents Modernity imbibing the best elements from tradition. No better example of a right mix than his yogic insights. https://t.co/ngN6ehiJ9C
Sri Aurobindo has hinted at Sanskrit possessing original root sounds that are self-creative. However no such quest is on and subjective findings are suspect. As regards the Mantra aspect Sri Aurobindo's poetic output in English is more accessible and relevant for the modern times

National, religious, and ethnic divisions are playing havoc and The Mother & Sri Aurobindo offer the most feasible solution. SAVITRI is pivotal for the future and mankind must rally round it for perennial peace, progress, and harmony. Supramental consciousness must reign over us.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are symbols of higher consciousness and hence no compromise with the past. Men's ignorance of their relevance is part of our prayer and aspiration for a sublime sequence of cultural efflorescence. They have "attempted all, prepared, achieved all for us"

Veda doesn't mean that one has to go through complex poetical creations in dreary Sanskrit. Sri Aurobindo has made the job easier by psychological interpretation of the deities. The Secret of the Veda by him explained originally in English is an essential reading for all Indians.

From the Veda to SAVITRI, that's the trajectory the followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have to popularise. Both are unfamiliar and difficult arena but the key to the future of humanity is hidden there. Present crisis is the right pretext to delve into context of these texts.

The PM is highlighting the role of service including innovation or jugaad in Man ki baat which might form the bedrock of economy. The Mother too experimented with such model in Sri Aurobindo ashram as well as Auroville. Need to study and explore its potentials for an alternative.

Even, their intellectuals are not free from such imaginary imperatives. Refusing to learn from Western scholars may be justified due to predominantly Marxist perspectives. So, looking for the right direction should be a priority. Here, Sri Aurobindo provides the best alternative.

BJP supporters suffer from three falsities:
1) Glorified past forming the theme of an attractive narrative
2) Not recognising the present reality of religious or political diversity
3) Believing that Sanskrit or Ayurveda etc. are useful for future excellence or India's greatness.

Most followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo just copy and paste instead of discussing or contextualising. That's safe. We have been dealing with current affairs for which there's no direct guidance available. It's dicey but needed to be attempted for collaboration with Evolution

In a black swan scenario like the present when whole paradigms are in the melting pot and we invoke The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for right Evolutionary intervention, some visible change on this score shouldn't be ruled out. Vedic imperatives for #SavitriEra. https://t.co/Y361R7JCxk
Competition is said to be the cornerstone of modern economic system but what reigns is mafia, monopolies, or cartels with govt association. So Capitalism like Democracy remains a chimera since both are inconsistent with human nature. Liberty-wallahs should revise theory suitably.

"Sunlight is the best disinfectant" and transparency is the need of the hour. Mafia, monopolies, and cartels run mostly with Govt connivance and aided by information asymmetry undermine society and backstab humanity. Breaking their nexus needs to be the priority in this calamity.

Depth is only so much as you can measure; Je pakshi ude jete dura

Majority is not synonymous with Democracy. Authorisation is by majority vote but thereafter an elite minority rules. Top Party committee, therefore, is of immense importance. Besides, lateral pulls matter. But all these collapsing in a crisis is not improbable. Wisdom is slender.
Concept of a specialist is overrated. In fact, idea comes from outside and is not necessarily a property of any person. Besides, it's irrespective of office or status. Nature has a penchant for dusting off the undeserving for stimulating fresh enchantment. Democracy facilitates.
Current situation is not a spontaneous one but has been forced by Govts as a precautionary measure. No one can predict the future but the lessons are clear.
Earth is one.
Humanity is one.
Religious and National identities are futile.
Smaller nations better as adminstrative units.
Though it's an extraordinary crisis situation, each State declaring a lockdown can be seen as a baby step towards Sovereignty and the Evolutionary intention behind it is unmistakable. Politics and economy undergoing paradigm shift is also inevitable. Sri Aurobindo is at the helm.
I have been active on the web under the banner of Savitri Era since 2005 but couldn't secure the support of anyone. Those who read Sri Aurobindo feel so knowledgeable that any collective endeavour becomes difficult. Yet, there's scope for unanimity like on forming smaller nations
While your assessment is not unfounded, philosophical observations tend to be difficult because of their abstract nature. Idea, when germinates, has its own validity and force irrespective of gestation of reaching common folk. That's the general assumption https://t.co/JHSjh01rRR
Praying is the most contentious aspect since different gods and goddesses look absurd against the backdrop of a monistic virus. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo thought about all these aspects more than a century ago but educated Indians don't bother to listen to them. That's alarming!
Ultimately, it's about understanding oneself; one has to start somewhere. Sri Aurobindo enacted a Gita like situation in Kolkata but the real war he fought was against Hitler in Puducherry. Thus nationalism is not his final motive; its Evolution, and how it can tackle even virus.

Scores of metaphysical frameworks, theological formulations, or contesting ontologies. Myopic worldviews of science add to the woe of which people are helpless prisoners. Thankfully Sri Aurobindo provides the most stable picture of the world and a secure Evolutionary future of it
Events unfolding and the story unrolling while watching a film feels normal but the truth is that every bit of it has been executed in advance. Life similarly is not a spontaneous or random movement as it appears superficially, writes Tusar Nath Mohapatra. https://t.co/AIw0G5KrMD
When #SriAurobindo wrote "Earth wheeled abandoned in the hollow gulfs" in SAVITRI, it was to show the huge contrast to what was to come. So, being aware about the intention of Evolution in all activities is the very skill of our works: योग: कर्मसु कौशलम् |
https://t.co/GjXbIE9Uta
Science and governance are superficial aspects; being aware of the occult dimension is the real challenge. Obviously no one has access to it but some external actions like reciting SAVITRI, either individually or in small groups, can have tremendous effect on building resistance.
Old remedies are ineffective for new diseases; those peddling their own whims as substitute are not the only ones to blame. Collaborating with Evolution is an urgency; the message of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is precisely this. SM helps spread the word; ignore at your own peril.
The importance of the States being awarded Sovereignty should be best appreciated in moments like this. Large nations are monstrosities which need to be obliterated. Time to grant maximum autonomy to the States and freedom to deal with Foreign affairs independently of the Centre.
Various remedial measures are being adopted but reciting a page of SAVITRI by #SriAurobindo everyday can be considered a potent means too. Even having a copy on the desk has its own occult effect. SAVITRI belongs to the whole humanity and its future sans any narrow categorisation

Sounds rhetorical but this is the crux of the problem, especially, after advent of Hindutva and its harnessing for capturing power. That it won't introduce a slew of anomalies is to be naive. In Sri Aurobindo's writings we don't find this dichotomy but now one has to be cautious.
I didn't know my gender, caste, race, religion, region, language, nationality, or blood type when I was born nor had any hand in choosing them. Yet, social existence depends so much upon them and their ossification. The Mother is a symbol for transcending all these constructions.

Sovereignty for the States is a must for local action and innovation. I have been campaigning for the last three years but no one takes it seriously. Sri Aurobindo foresaw a #WorldUnion a century back but he is ignored. Unusually large nations are ineffective and pose a threat.
Any one can support the idea so that people are aware and at least debate. SM is the best means.
Fighting Communism or Hindutva is not the real challenge as the present crisis underscores. Larger Ontological picture is more relevant for which the Yogic insights of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are immensely instructive. Modernity is key but Supraphysical realm matters much more

This handy compilation is three to four decades old but remains neglected. Let's hope both the scientific community and those dealing with Humanities look at it for some bold pointers at this time of crisis. @NathTusar

If we believe in the theories of Sri Aurobindo, each of us is evolving and there's no static position or firm identification. More so for those in the public arena. Still more accentuated for those who write or lecture. So, being part of that journey should be the right approach.

What Bankimchandra or Rabindranath did to be remembered? With forty volumes to his credit, Sri Aurobindo is a great poet and writer. As most of his work is in English, Bengalis not knowing him is understandable. You may not know him but his admirers are spread all over the world.
The middle class mentality expects the dirty job to be done by somebody else. So when Sri Aurobindo left the scene, it was not taken kindly. Tagore wrote a novel reinforcing this sentiment which was used to the hilt to marginalise Sri Aurobindo, his books, and religious following
Humility is good but in your tweet you have insulted the memory of a great poet and philosopher like Sri Aurobindo. An apology is due.
Why 11 years? How do you know? Tagore wrote one poem or visited him once later on but that doesn't mean he agreed with him. Sri Aurobindo preferred to keep safe distance from his famous contemporaries because his work and priorities belonged to an altogether different wavelength.
You seem to possess more truth than the British investigative agencies and the Courts had in 1909. We must know your detailed charge sheet against Sri Aurobindo and how they are historically accurate. Spreading baseless rumour on Internet is absolutely irresponsible and unethical
Please desist from off the cuff remarks; it's infinitely important to understand who Sri Aurobindo is, why he came, and how his work is relevant even in this viral crisis. Overlooking it is a colossal loss for the humanity. So being serious about him is the most challenging task.
I don't have any extra information than what Sri Aurobindo has written. And the answer is crystal clear but there's no remedy to prejudice. All our historians suffer from the latter. So self-study is the only recourse although it takes a long time. Chittaranjan Das was his lawyer
Downfall may not be a right description since Sri Aurobindo himself has recorded about the dismal state of affairs prevailing then. Still high humanitarian concerns have fostered on Bengal soil and it shouldn't be measured in merely economic terms. Bengal teaches India even today
Sri Aurobindo stresses on cosmological aspects which are certainly esoteric but his task is to bust obscurity to make it common knowledge just like an invisible virus. Such awareness about hidden forces of life can bring tremendous development in our human affairs. #SriAurobindo
Much more aware and enlightened people are there in Bengal today but they don't get limelight. Plus access to Web. Because human issues have multiplied and become much more complex over the last century. So, you need tons of sensibilities. E.g., judgement on a Foreigner's right.

Attempting to read The Life Divine by #SriAurobindo should form a basic challenge; doesn't matter if the first encounter is a failure. Even that has got many advantages. For all scholarship or expertise is inchoate and infructuous without this crucial tome https://t.co/p3eU1I7A7C
The Life Divine is not exactly a guide book for the current crisis but it's a manual for all seasons. A random page can intimate the vastness of the canvas and how subtexts are more crucial. It also assures of the sure steps of Evolution behind the rough and tumble of daily life

An easier course is to allow Sri Aurobindo to explain as he has done in a dozen volumes over a century back. Consulting them can open new vistas of understanding and intuitive interpretation revealing the true Vedic foundation of not only the present crisis but future Evolution.

Please random check at
https://t.co/OTvaGnOCwg
You can read The Secret of the Veda. The first chapter itself can give a picture of alternative interpretations and how meanings differ radically.
I don't believe that you have read the books by Sri Aurobindo otherwise you wouldn't be discussing these minor points. That's by way of clarification in the interest of knowledge and no offence intended. Thanks.
I have already mentioned the example of a word, Gopalaka in this context for which Sri Aurobindo provides a better interpretation in his The Secret of the Veda. One has to read at least the first chapter to know about it. https://t.co/wMv0vmKqzL
One specific word is Gopalaka and how to understand it, for on its meaning stands the whole edifice of defective interpretations perpetrated for ages. Overlooking it doesn't amount to committing any wrong but one who has read The Secret of the Veda can't. https://t.co/IBXqSlS3HZ
Acquiring knowledge and right understanding is a voluntary thing; can be undertaken by self only. I requested you to read, provided the link, and pointed out a specific defect. Thereafter, it's your choice and level of curiosity. Thanks.
You are right since I want your understanding of things should be addressed by Sri Aurobindo himself. You can start with the first chapter of The Secret of the Veda and then see what happens. That's reasonable, I presume. #SriAurobindo #FiveDreams #WorldUnion
With due respect, I don't agree with you as nobody has direct access to knowledge. We all use texts and translations that are subject to interpretation. So comparing them has much advantage instead of following something uncritically. The rest depends upon how far one may venture
If requesting to read a book on Veda is such a bad thing to do, then it's futile to be in Twitter. The book, and not myself, should be the subject of discussion.
https://twitter.com/NathTusar/status/1242660943005282304?s=19

Many don't go beyond Thoughts and Aphorisms of Sri Aurobindo and quote from it to ridicule others. Life however is more complex and #SriAurobindo himself has written volumes to examine it from different angles. So avoiding any signalling of finality or false promise is necessary.
Limited exposure should not prevent one from appreciating the gigantic treasure of writings in different languages on human affairs by thinkers in diverse fields over the last three thousand years. Sri Aurobindo occupies a very prominent place but hasn't been examined adequately.
Various academic disciplines have their own validity and utility but shouldn't be allowed to dominate one's worldview. For that, The Mother Sri Aurobindo are more appropriate source. Similarly, avoiding ideological straight-jacket of some political party is also a prudent course.
Atheists enjoy all benefits given by God but deny his existence. Similarly, those who denounce liberalism enjoy all its advantages but never realise own hypocrisy of criticising it. Why such duplicity is perpetrated is difficult to understand and that too by the highly educated.

Easy to theorise by riding piggyback on eloquence but history, society, and memory are far more complex affairs. A more realistic response can go a long way in a balanced evaluation of the Evolutionary compulsions of various episodes of the past especially before the West arrived.
While it's natural to examine alternative scenarios to understand this viral crisis, it's profitable to study a living experience like Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Besides, Satprem's futuristic books like The Mind of the Cells or Evolution II are highly relevant. https://t.co/VES2fORLAL
Good counter view but from the safety of the gallery since advantages of Govt measure is already in place. So, no pressure mounting every minute nor fresh inputs pouring in every hour. You have certain grounds but they are equally speculative to be doable. https://t.co/632TKTm8uO
https://twitter.com/NathTusar/status/1242799317632475136?s=19
Most are debating whether the Govt. is right or wrong but overlook that the present crisis is about the people themselves. How they can collaborate with the right Evolutionary forces is the task but our high profile management experts and trend analysts are unable to sense merit.
Role of media is to scout for alternative and marginalised viewpoints but in our country they rather ignore and supress. When so much of ignorance and confusion on the pandemic prevails, the firm voice of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo should earn prominence. Who can understand this?
The nation can celebrate March 29 in a big way by highlighting the role of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in producing quality philosophy and universal practice. Recognising how their Integral paradigm can play a big role in fighting the present pandemic is the high need of the hour.
The Mother reached Puducherry on March 29, 1914 and met Sri Aurobindo. ARYA came out on August 15 in which several books were serialised. They knew the importance of right philosophy which is no less crucial than right medicine or vaccine. Educated Indians must realise this fact.
Simply saying don't panic is not enough. There must be proper background to support such positive emotion when faced with extreme situation. That's basically the function of philosophy and amassing some is necessary like Bank balance. Quality matters and Sri Aurobindo is the best
Sri Aurobindo wrote about #WorldUnion a century back but it's yet to percolate. Present crisis provides a very good opportunity to debate the issue. West couldn't produce a World Philosophy due to racial prejudices. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are extremely relevant on many counts

Savitri by Sri Aurobindo is the safest guide

Odia identity is more pronounced on the web than the real world https://t.co/WK6YcSc9i6
A secular festival like #PakhalaDibasa is a good occasion for some nostalgic sentiments. Similar level of enthusiasm needed to make all old songs available online like
https://t.co/KNMDJsLbW0
The corollary is that he questioned the authenticity of traditionally revered texts by introducing suspicion and giving credence to parallel narratives. This postmodernist technique might have contributed much for fostering a liberal and plural religious environment across Odisha

3. Many have contributed greatly.
Many thanks for sharing this iconic and priceless Odia song. Hope you can locate information on the original of Tulasi chaura mule https://t.co/JWAYWPOqYc
So, what do you propose? I think govt is doing its part and local organisations are there. It can be given a push but that may not mean promoting quality. Music appreciation is a personal thing and it should develop organically and spontaneously; through a process of elimination.
The media scene was so restricted in those days that to come across a photograph like this was rare. Tima, our Mukri, was popular in Krushi Sansar. Even today, we remember most of our singers by name only and not by their appearance. Thanks @SuryadeoSurya. https://t.co/kb2iBjEV9u
Oh, great! Such a futuristic composition but I don't remember to have heard it before. Thanks for preserving for the next generation; you are a veritable institution now.

Having almost no personal involvement with records, cassettes, or CDs, I retain my fascination for the soft power of the songs instead of hardware. I might have missed many things but thematic recalling of songs is not on the basis of their placement in albums or time of release.
Thanks. That's because I love them. Radio being the only source of entertainment those days and Odia culture at its best. Those radio plays featuring Himanshu Bhusan Sabat and Jharana Das. Nadiya Bihari Mohanty of SS. There used to be a song: Hajigala bayasa, michhe khoji basana!
Given my near total lack of exposure to other forms of music, what are your recommendations? What are the possible linkages to Odia songs? One is Chandramalli hase; there may be more. But, we are perhaps more attached to the lyrics than the sheer musical element, which should be.
Bayasara Krushnachuda, however, is not in splendid isolation. Thankfully, we have a brilliant rendering by Sisira Das in a haunting tone but the lyrics at places seems to be a bit gender neutral. Rangani also features which reminds of several other songs. https://t.co/SWI6jaLpis
As first Sajafula song, Jhari jhari jae has a historic eminence but I somehow can't reconcile to it being companion to a great song like Asadha shyama sadhi. Bayasara Krushnachuda rather seems apt. Btw I used to sing Asadha shyama in Matlab nikal gaya tune https://t.co/rnJuE81Bqx
We had all kinds of flowers in our garden but Krushnachuda came much later. Till then, this heavenly song of Akshaya Mohanty used to do the job. Must rank at the top of what @OdiaCulture
