The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine without any connection with any mythology or past philosophy. Savitri Era Religion doesn't harbour any ritual or superstition. Those worshipping other gods or goddesses & gurus shouldn't drag them to the quagmire of old faiths

It's improper to oppose Western civilization as a whole because of colonialism, because modernity has its roots there. In 1784, Sir William Jones founded the Asiatic Society whose influence is immense. Sri Aurobindo likewise ushered in a new era in 1914 through his journal Arya.

Gandhi's role has generated a great deal of scholarship which has gained worldwide recognition as a credible political ideology. Sri Aurobindo's philosophy is relatively deep and complex. However, from a long-term perspective, Sri Aurobindo's vision on evolution makes more sense.

On the one hand Nehru ignored Gandhi's illogical views and on the other he spurned Hindu pressure. In economic field too he resisted attraction of capitalism on one side and socialism and communism on the other. Disregarding America and Russia he created the non-aligned movement.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo didn't prescribe any religious ritual or fixed form of practice but encouraged inner living. This might lead to a world-shunning situation if one happens to be over-ambitious in spirituality. Thus maintaining balance is important since All life is yoga.

Following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo doesn't depend upon any mythology, philosophy, or a particular book. Devotion and surrender to them is all that what's required. Rejecting obscurantist mentality and anti-evolutionary activities is essential for becoming their fit instruments.

Unlike in the past Sri Aurobindo didn't go out to destroy some religious places. He wrote a few books and the results are unfolding to the peril of gigantic castles. The general perception that many people are turning areligious is not simply the effect of modernity but evolution

Having followed The Mother & Sri Aurobindo since when I was an eight years old, I don't expect any logical or ethical turn of events. They are outside the popular radar but there's no other avenue in sight for amelioration of suffering and exploitation. Thus they embody the hope.

Biographies of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo don't matter much for the devotees but are referred to in context. They are the one Supreme Divine who are in charge of our lives all the time. Devotion and surrender to them exclusively is what's asked of us. Any dilution is detrimental.

Sri Aurobindo is a known pioneer of the Freedom movement and his writings are well documented. He engaged with modernity with a deeper philosophical perspective. Yet the reluctance of Leftist intellectuals to give any importance to him keeps the current political discourse naive.

Savitri Era Party has this pious responsibility of foregrounding the relevance of Sri Aurobindo's philosophically embedded political theory. Rising above its speculative and utopian appearance it posits a formidable transforming apparatus propelled by evolutionary inevitability

Political discourse of last seventy six years hasn't helped the country and needs to be jettisoned lock, stock, and barrel. Sri Aurobindo inaugurated a brand new vision for the future of humanity drawing sustenance from the twin sources of Vedic aspirations and scientific inquiry

Sri Aurobindo's appeal is to the individual. He has to review his own situation. His affections, affinities, and believes. A blanket condemnation of any religion or nation is of no use since overlaps are abundant. Each person must assimilate new thought for inner transformation.

If modernity can be said to have dawned in the West around the same time when Sri Aurobindo was writing his books like The Life Divine and Human Cycle then they are worlds apart. Just like he used new terms like Supermind his version of modernity is best expressed as Integralism.

I have been listening to complaints against the Western powers and Western culture since childhood but most things and ideas I use are Western in origin including this device and the language. Hindutva unfortunately hasn't been able to provide any viable intellectual alternative.

Savitri Era Party provides an alternative narrative based on future vision of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. On the face of it, not much difference from dominant political ideals would be perceptible but evolutionary journey toward a Divine harmony instead of unpredictability is key.

The Constitution of India is thoroughly secular and doesn't lean towards any religion. Savitri Era Religion, drawing inspiration from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, is supportive of such Constitutional values and modern ethos. Additionally, it has no mythology or rituals, as a drag.

The spirit of propaganda has engulfed the minds of people so much that nobody is remotely worried about any exaggeration or misrepresentation. Preserving the true essence of Sri Aurobindo's thought, in this atmosphere, is a challenging task. But no one feels responsible for this.

When Sri Aurobindo was asked why did he try for the Congress accepting the Cripps offer, he told it was his Nishkama Karma but today we realise how skillfully he documented it for the historians to judge. His four political interventions towards the end of his life are momentous.

The trajectory of evolution is not linear or logical leaving a lot of scope for drama. The CM of Odisha can't speak Odia and Jayalalitha and Rajinikanth are not Tamils. CM of UP is also an outsider!

My posts don't reach many people but I'm trying to communicate the result of my experience of the last sixty years as honestly as possible. I know that people are not as fortunate as me in receiving the teaching of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo but a slight opening can change things.

Long Colonial rule hadn't done much harm to Hinduism but from 1990 it got weaponised as a result of which there's a vertical split among its adherents. Sri Aurobindo didn't exactly predict such a prospect but his critique of religions as a whole can be thought of as becoming true.

As devotees, we worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine and don't consider anyone else as remotely comparable. All their historical connections are contextual, devoid of any real significance. So, not to be misled by literal or factual accounts is preemptive.

It's usual for the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo to suffer from bouts of doubt and faithlessness. Periods of identification with either of them and aloofness from the other is also common. Strong intellectual bulwark comes to the rescue at such times. Devotion not enough.

Dr. R.L. Kashyap passed away last year leaving his monumental contribution to the field of rediscovering the Veda in the light of Sri Aurobindo, T.V. Kapali Sastry, and M.P. Pandit. I'm not sure if he leans a bit towards the traditional religious approach.

After centuries of foreign occupation India earned democracy in 1947 the quality of which remains tainted. It's not the fault of the people alone. There's something in the evolutionary scheme which is not allowing perfection. I pray to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for rectification.

"Nature does not think we are special," says @devduttmyth. But what is nature? And what's its nature and whether it's capable of thinking. Without borrowing from The Life Divine by Sri Aurobindo, these questions can't be answered satisfactorily. Western philosophy too is inchoate.

Philosophy and spirituality are indispensable ingredients for understanding life. Those who avoid The Mother & Sri Aurobindo on some pretext gather their quota from different sources. Substandard knowledge doesn't show the right path. Professional expertise too is of limited use.

Feeling overwhelmed by the religious ecosystem and paraphernalia is normal. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo advise to get over such complacency so that the real aim of life gets attention. Thus, yoga is a solitary enterprise but the evolutionary imperative turns it into as collective.

Without any reference to The Mother, the profile fails to provide a clear picture. Besides, eclipsing vital information with regard to someone amounts to censorship. Further, it's debatable whether he endorsed the kind of socioeconomic model favoured by Organic Radical community.

Ram Swarup was well aware of Sri Aurobindo's writings but unfortunately could not be convinced of them.

All those who have been responsible for hiding Sri Aurobindo from the students during the last seventy six years will face the consequences. Riding on the horses of falsehood won't last long. Their confidences will be crushed and reputations will bite the dust. Make no mistake!

I have been living in India all my life and have visited most of its States. I know that things are not ideal but there's no solution to the human condition. Some societies may be better in some respects but glossing over their own imperfections is not honest or objective. Thanks. 

I don't think any religion is free from idolatry. Besides, mythology and superstitions are part of all cultures and religions. Even science fiction promotes a sort of mythology in a different form. If you feel that you are free from all these, it's a tad exaggerated. Thanks.

In the third sentence you are contradicting what you rightly observed in the first two. Nietzsche had predicted something identical. But it's illogical to expect human beings to jump out of their own limits. What's the means apart from known superstitions? So back to square one.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine and Savitri Era Religion was created by me in 2006 for unambiguous identification and legal protection for their devotees spread worldwide. Savitri is a long futuristic poem by Sri Aurobindo on victory over death. 

Good for self-validation and inflated elation but assimilating the right message of Sri Aurobindo is also important. As you're well aware his Complete Works comprises nearly forty volumes and there are any number of Secondary literature. So do yourself a favour by consulting them. 

One of the distinctive contributions of Prime Minister Modi to political discourse is Andolanjeevi. Protest industry is also a source of bread and butter for the Media. It is another matter that the protests by Ramdev, Anna Hazare, and Kejriwal catapulted them and Modi to power.

Sri Aurobindo is known in terms of meditation and spirituality but I am the first to apply his philosophy to politics. The formation of Savitri Era Party by me in 2007 created a golden opportunity to break out of the polluted environment of Hindutva. Gave a blow to the Left too.

Move just five Kilometres away from the urban limits and you encounter the stark reality of poverty in India. Thus how hypocritical it is to talk of Hindu Rashtra or Vishwa Guru. Those drunk with power are worried about how to retain it. So deception is the only weapon and option. 

A monthly tax has been imposed on some residents of Auroville which seems to be an arbitrary measure. Administration should inform the public about the rationale of its actions in view of international ramifications. Further, reputations of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is involved.

There are a couple of clowns among the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo here who like in any collective play their appointed roles of displaying comical acrobatics. Nothing wrong but some newcomers get prejudiced and feel repulsed by such antics. So beware of such worthies!

Self-determination is a basic political instinct. Just remember, how the Odia people were fighting for a separate State. It could have resulted in a separate nation like in Europe. Nationhood of the present day India is a British legacy. Population growth has made it obsolete.

The general assumption is a large country is good which may not be true from many angles. But it can be contested with any kind of identity. Violence or non-violence is a question of modality with no definite norm. If Nepal or Bhutan are separate nations then why not Punjab?

Many in this country are dreaming of Rahul Gandhi replacing Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister next year. They can't think of any other Indian for the top post. This is the state of democracy in India. Drama and media manipulation are the potent means for hoodwinking the voter.

Nitish Kumar is the most prominent ideological heir today of JP, Lohia, and VP Singh with wide administrative experiences. He should clearly lead the opposition alliance on the basis of sheer seniority. All those who are creating conflicting signs are saboteurs. #2K24 is not far!

All lovers of democracy should demand that two terms for any Prime Minister are enough. Progress of the country should not be tethered to any single individual and others should also be allowed to use their talent and power of innovation. Personality cult shouldn't be cultivated.

Reasonable acquaintance with Western philosophy is absolutely necessary otherwise it will intimidate always. I spent a few years and then could understand that they have a limit. Sri Aurobindo goes much further and with the Veda as the foundation. Besides, The Mother supplements.

In the last century, the books of Fritjof Capra, Stephen Hawking, Gary Zukav, and Alvin Toffler, among others, stirred the imagination of people. They provoked ontological thinking. In this century the focus seems to be on the mundane. Races, religions, culture, and civilisation.

Savitri Era Religion is free from mythology and rituals. It's also free from complex metaphysical formulations. No one or place has any special claim or ownership over The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. They haven't appointed any authorised representative. They belong to the whole world.

Many bestsellers have appeared in this century but I haven't read them. My impression is that they haven't, in any way, surpassed the significance of Sri Aurobindo's The Life Divine. Further, the practical aspect of collaboration with evolutionary forces can't be found elsewhere.

Modern life awarded legitimacy to advertising and that is where falsehood starts. Advocates, similarly, are exempted from the obligation of telling the truth. Media has become synonymous with fake news. Politicians too boast of jumla. Sri Aurobindo's writings are unadulterated.

Reading the books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is a lifelong love affair. No need to follow in the beginning. Being conversant with the names of books and their chapters and reading the publisher's notes can create interest and affinity. Rest will follow.

Winning elections and coming to power is not a validation of ideology. Congress ruled for so many years but its philosophy could not gain public approval. Hindutva, similarly, has captured power by various tricks. But its agenda doesn't have public support. It will collapse soon.

Sri Aurobindo's writings are vast but many are in the habit of invariably referring to the Gita and allied mythology for explaining ethical or normative issues. Sri Aurobindo wrote The Life Divine with global readership in mind. That shouldn't be sabotaged with sinister intention.

The Life Divine can be read without referring to The Synthesis of Yoga and vice versa although both were written simultaneously. In fact, all of Sri Aurobindo's major works can be read by completely forgetting about the earlier period of his involvement in the Freedom struggle.

After twelve centuries, Sri Aurobindo altered the meaning of a single word to give a whole new philosophy called Integral Advaita. How many people in India know about this interesting story? And what's its effect on the future of religion and culture? Political discourse included.

All citizens are equal in a democracy irrespective of the office they hold or property they own. Being aware of individual rights and dignity is necessary.

All professional and technical learning falls in the category of skills. Philosophy points attention to the things unattended. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo discovered that evolution can be accelerated by human volition. Following them opens the door for adventure of consciousness.

Pursuant to the universal philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, Savitri Era Religion (2006) is opposed to mythology and rituals and Savitri Era Party (2007) is against Hindutva which has nothing to do with the recent outbursts against Sanatan Dharma by some top leaders of DMK.

The Mother first arrived in Puducherry in 1914 and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram came to function under her stewardship from 1926. After Sri Aurobindo's departure in 1950, she attempted many innovations while her own sadhana on the mind of the cells continued. She passed away in 1973.

A large number of handles here think in terms of Hindus and Muslims. Others stress on Brahmins vs Dalits. Followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo however treat all as human beings. Savitri Era Party reiterates the equality of all citizens and despises the superiority of any group.

Savitri Era Religion represents negation of all other religions. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine marking the end of dogma and rituals. The next step of evolution is inevitable for which surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is indispensable.

I haven't seen much improvement in the social condition during the last sixty years. Suffering, exploitation, discrimination and conflict continues. I don't think The Mother & Sri Aurobindo promised any miraculous solution to all these. So expecting politics as panacea is puerile. 

Independence of India came at a wrong time because it missed the technological revolution. Y2K revolution similarly put so much emphasis on technology that all other sectors and activities were neglected. It will take a very long time to make up for the lag and changing mentality. 

I have been warning against false promises in the name of yoga and spirituality. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are famous for their extensive writings on exploration of inner psychological continents but no one has been successful in accessing those realms or exhibiting any evidence.

When our country has hundreds of Universities, why some historical facts should be decided by a doctored video interaction between a Pattanaik and a Sanyal is difficult to understand. Hindutva should gather intellectual muscle but not by unfair and sensational media manipulation.

Numerous institutions dedicated to the philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are running across the country. Seeking govt assistance for their survival is not unusual. Attracting people on the pretext of healing camps and yoga workshops are common leading to ideology dilution.

While the grip of Hindutva over Ashram, Society, and Auroville tightens, it's necessary to maintain the independence of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy as their writings belong to the whole world. Savitri Era Religion and Savitri Era Party serve vital roles on this score.

Sri Aurobindo's writings before The Mother's arrival were intended for motivating people against the British. These are used selectively to justify his endorsement of Hindutva ideology which took shape later. Thus, it depends upon how one interpretes or which facet of him is seen.

Not all but some are susceptible to material gains.

Given their complex legacy, no one can claim of an authentic stand. So this diversity of approach will continue. And each person will grow in his/her understanding over the years. That is fine. But the threat of misuse by political mobilisation through uniformity is a reality now.

Four ideological camps are prevailing at present.

3. Ambedkar - Periyar: &

Savitri Era Party seeks to establish a more intellectual environment for politics as enunciated in the future vision of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

Sri Aurobindo wrote on different subjects but to quote him on specific topics is problematic. Literal interpretation of his 20th century views may not be applicable in 21st century. Academic scrutiny is okay. His relevance for human unity and universality needs to be appreciated.

That's fine. I think, The Future Poetry is a much more mature work.

Many people are in the habit of posting quotations from different authors. They are educative and inspiring no doubt but why not read the books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo so that one gets all such wisdom from one authentic source? The tendency of surveying takes a lot of time.

Many books have been written on Gandhi and Ambedkar has been discussed to a great extent. But a complete analysis of modern Indian thought hasn't found expression as Sri Aurobindo's writings are left out. It's necessary as background material in the run-up to the 2024 elections.

India-centric view of Sri Aurobindo is the school-stage. For college-level study critical analysis is necessary. Evolution involves the whole world as adventure of consciousness is universal. Colonialism helped East-West integration to a large extent. Such opportunities will grow.

The basic principle behind civil society is to keep people free from the worries of governance or security but, sadly, democracy in India is, increasingly, being utilised for entangling the lives and thoughts of people with the ideological strands of different political parties.

All political parties are misguiding people by feeding them dubious narratives. This has been going on continuously and systematically. Paid anchors and columnists are everywhere. I have been appealing to follow The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for sound worldview and ethical conduct.

The accused anchors owe an explanation to the public as to how much intellectual dishonesty they practice. Hoodwinking viewers is no different from day-light robbery. Those benefitting from such jugglery should also apologise to the public. Good opportunity for cleansing polity.

Tell me what are the facts. On the one hand Sri Aurobindo is preaching Doctrine of passive resistance and on the other, he is encouraging his brother to play with bombs. It's difficult to explain away such ambivalence. Everything is documented and the inferences are quite clear.

He seems to have read something on Sri Aurobindo and has his own opinion. I don't find any reason to disagree with it because I have been fed hagiographic views about Sri Aurobindo since childhood. He is telling the king is naked. So no need to be worked up over personal opinion.

I don't think you can claim with certainty that he didn't denounce his "revolutionary" activities. It's not that clear. He was acquitted in the Alipore case on the basis of his being aloof. Theoretically he never supported violence. There would be other references too. So caution!

Sri Aurobindo is entirely different from all other gurus and great men. He wrote The Secret of the Veda which is his unique discovery. He also wrote The Life Divine which is the greatest book on earth. No wonder The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine.

We are all inhaling narratives along with the air and hence it is necessary to be cautious and alert all the time. Keeping a photograph of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in the room can change the atmosphere. Their books also have the same effect. They force you to think differently.

The 14 anchors episode has exposed the ulcers our democracy is suffering from despite all scientific and technological advances. It is just the tip of the iceberg. Savitri Era Patty can change the whole atmosphere with its principled stand derived from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

Hindutva followers, understandably, are finding it difficult to worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine. They should explain their position in this respect so that others are not subjected to confusion and hypocrisy. They should also stop political canvassing.

After Independence the education system has been used to spread myriad falsehoods like the father of the nation. The present govt also is pushing the Hindutva agenda aggressively. Savarkar is being promoted to replace Gandhi. Savitri Era Party requests people to oppose distortion.

Savitri Era Party is opposed to both NDA and INDIA factions. All independent-minded citizens should come forward to support me in spreading the message of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Assiduously built, the Gandhi myth, the Tagore myth, and the Vivekananda myth needs to be busted.

Highly educated professionals are responsible for creating a situation like boycott of 14 anchors. The style of functioning of the Prime Minister is also a prime reason. Democracy is fragile and deriving more benefits from it than it can sustain will break it. Beware of anarchy!

I was against the Congress rule and had high hopes from Janata movement. But it degenerated into vote-bank politics. Hindutva philosophy never attracted me as I detest the obscurantism and anti-intellectualism of RSS. Kejriwal and Modi captured power through deceit and theatrics.

Congress conspired to keep Sri Aurobindo out of education and national recognition as a result of which Hindutva grew. Even today they are suspicious of his philosophy and foolishly supporting the DMK brand of rationalism. The direction of evolutionary inevitability is otherwise!

The Mother passed away fifty years back and Nika Kuchuk in her many pronged interrogations brings out diverse fascinating dimensions relating to her which surprisingly don't attract the attention of the educated world. She should be appreciated on her own.

The clue to building a modern and egalitarian society lies in embracing Savitri Era Religion. This option has been there for more than a century but thought leaders have been neglecting it, all along. Going through all the phases of ignorance is perhaps the evolution's mechanism.

The Veda and evolution are Sri Aurobindo's USP. That man can be conscious enough to accelerate the process of evolution is the most ambitious role envisaged for him. That leads to being able to reconfigure body cells so as to conquer over death and disease. Not science fiction!

Being a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo means to lead a life of aspiration and anticipation. Living within or growing within is certainly the target but day-to-day activities hardly permit such luxury. Surrender and not self-realisation of traditional paths is the priority.

Is the intellectual arsenal of the seven thousand years old Sanatan Dharma is so poor that it is banking, exclusively, on a couple of sentences from a public speech by Sri Aurobindo delivered on an emotional occasion after his release from the jail and which was abandoned by him?

Many thanks. I haven't read them nor am aware of their contents. I don't think I have any need of reading them at this age. But I feel that they should be appreciated as poems or literature just like Ramayana or Mahabharata without insisting as history. Totally, personal opinion.

If people have become celebrities or occupying chairs of power by peddling dubious ideologies, Savitri Era Party too can reach at that level by the grace of The Mother & Aurobindo. That will be good not only for Bharat but also for the whole world. #WorldUnion will be a reality.

Sri Aurobindo belongs to the whole world and anyone anywhere can derive inspiration from him or benefit from his luminous and voluminous writings. Savitri Era Religion however is worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine irrespective of intellectual anchor.

Political polemics needs theoretical sustenance and hence the need for sound ideological formulations. The world has almost exhausted its stock and Sri Aurobindo has to be adopted as the solution for the future. But a system based on self-interest and deception won't run for long.

One aspect has been left. That is reading. Sri Aurobindo is famous for his magnum opus, The Life Divine, in which he builds his metaphysical architectonic heralding evolutionary prophecies. Reading it has a transformational effect, apart from the reorientation of one's worldview.

Sri Aurobindo is the only philosopher in the modern world whose writings should be taken as truth. He proceeds logically providing ample room for variations or exigencies but the inferences are foolproof. He wrote "if this is not the way, then there is no way for the human kind."

It's astounding that no one is bothered about the social ills. Instead genocide has been invented to suppress the voice. This is hijacking of the first order. Even showing a little concern for the issues raised would have been greatly appreciated. But that would be seen as defeat.

People didn't learn anything about Sri Aurobindo in the school or college, after Independence. The media also chose to ignore him. No political party adopted him as an icon. Modern gurus discouraged their followers to read him. Western philosophy refused to recognise his thought.

Hindutva hedonists quoting Sri Aurobindo is the most paradoxical aspect. When they read more, they will realise how he has criticised all facets of their religion and predicts a demise of it. Till then, they should be happy. But the debate is good as a lot of mud will emerge.

Ready made answers are not good for research. It's better to discover things in proper context and perspective.

A gradual progress of reason can make the mechanical dynamics of religion dysfunctional. That's the linear process. The other is emergent as descent of the Supramental consciousness will make existing arrangements redundant. The Mother has also told about it at several places.

When any religion is harnessed as a means for capturing political power, then it forfeits its right to protection, tolerance, or respect. It turns just another ideological plank which opponents would like to tear apart. So, safety of a religion lies in being neutral and secluded.

Hindutva enthusiasts would have us believe that Sri Aurobindo didn't write anything beyond the Uttarpara speech. It should be understood clearly that his pre-Puducherry writings were polemical and contextual. Quoting from them for justifying any dubious ideology is self-delusion.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo first met on March 29, 1914 and she passed away on November 17, 1973. They created all infrastructure for Savitri Era Religion within these sixty years. This is the most modern and rational religion on the planet but local people are yet to discover it.

I started writing in 2005 in Savitri Era blog and switched to Twitter in 2012. I have tried to be forthright and transparent otherwise many things would have remained under wraps. Some writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are unpublished now and what we read are edited versions.

The problem with Auroville case was it was considered in an abstract manner without any adherent claiming it as a living religion. Justice O. Chinnappa Ready being a Christian could see things independently and gave the right verdict since practice of faith is a fundamental right.

Accepting The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the litmus test. If one fails in this test, then there's no point in beating about the bush. Sincerity, loyalty, and devotion are primary and any lapse or laxity amounts to treachery. Savitri Era Religion is strict.

All political parties are busy pushing defective ideologies. Savitri Era Party is working from 2007 for restoring the right narratives as indicated by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. All those writing in the name of Sri Aurobindo or quoting him harbour tainted intentions. So, beware!

Some prominent voices have spoken against religion and the matter should be discussed from the sociological perspective. But indulging in personal attacks shows lack of debating power or material. Intellectual ammunition for crafting the right ideology is a necessity in democracy.

Sri Aurobindo's philosophy can't be understood from one speech or one paragraph. He aptly warned against learning by snippets. Selective use of his writings for dubious political agenda is reprehensible. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo stand for universal Supramental consciousness.

One of the most important interventions in the philosophical discourse is The Two Negations by Sri Aurobindo. How past religions encouraged nihilist philosophies and practices leading to dispiriting of human life and civilisation comes to the fore. He aims at a spiritual society.

X know-alls are in the habit of blaming previous rulers but it's intellectual adolescence. Everything is being decided by evolution and dreaming of milk and honey flowing is immature. Imperfections and impediments are very much part of the scheme and have definite roles to play.

Sri Aurobindo has stated, categorically, how difficult his work was and how, meticulously, he was engaged with it, just like a scientist. The Mother also related similar things in the Agenda. So, what was their work? They were working upon the body cells for their transformation.

Eminent and intelligent people are interested in matters relating to money and career. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo counsel investing life in collaborating with the evolutionary task of Supramental descent. No other religion or philosophy has such high emancipatory vision or target.

We are all victims of faulty narratives and The Mother & Sri Aurobindo help us greatly to mend them. But their message is not reaching people and some are trying to misrepresent their views. Institutions founded by them are no better. Savitri Era Party seeks to provide corrective

Most modern gurus have borrowed heavily from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo including the liberal environment of their Ashram in Puducherry. Integrating spirituality with material pursuits appears so common today but the philosophical underpinning is drawn from The Life Divine.

Evaluating Sri Aurobindo without taking into consideration The Mother's contribution is half-baked. Ignoring the fact that they are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine under a new religion is self-delusion. Any scholarly lecture without incorporating these basics is a caricature.

You can't read her complete works at one go. You have to start with any particular book. Side by side, no harm in paying furtive glances towards Sri Aurobindo.

By now, people are thoroughly convinced that all politicians are corrupt and they don't bother. Some middle class types are intoxicated with India conquering the world and nothing else matters to them. Rest are busy protecting their caste interests and how to occupy good position

Unlike many New Age gurus, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo haven't put much weight on success. Skill in works has been interpreted as the successful ability of surrendering action to the divine. Becoming a perfect instrument of divine will is much more valuable than climbing career.

Consulting Sri Aurobindo's metaphysics and his prophecies can offer a much better roadmap than of those after his departure in 1950. Continued neglect of this great treasure is surprising.

Although it's difficult to acquire an appreciation of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo through general education, any genuine quest for meaning of life or solution to human condition can lead to their works. One shouldn't be immature to react at that point that it's hard to understand.

Hindutva stalwarts are trying their best to keep Sri Aurobindo chained as one of the many icons of nationalism. Beyond that they are not interested. The revolution that he wrought through his The Secret of the Veda doesn't interest them nor his pronouncements in The Future Poetry.

Savitri Era Religion is an alternative avenue to the intellectual route. Integral yoga can mislead many into believing that it's a Spiritual but not religious path without any formal affiliation. Such freedom is absurd for one has to declare one's beliefs at some point of life.

Studying Sri Aurobindo is a daunting exercise but that alone is not enough. He has to be connected with The Mother at every step for they both are the one Supreme Divine. The four powers described in the Mother book applies to both of them which has Vedic antecedent as four suns.

TV serials have made a definite image of an Ashram but Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Puducherry is different. Although it's difficult to judge its efficacy, it remains the most important symbol. Sri Aurobindo's philosophy, however, doesn't, specifically, encourage living in an Ashram.

Getting beyond the froth of history is necessary for internalising the essence of civilisation. The works of Sri Aurobindo are geared for this crucial function. He once wrote a letter to his elder brother defending the poetry on Indian themes which reflects his strong conviction.

Accepting The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine by defying the pull of old religions is not easy but desirable. Simply reading their books or watching their videos is not enough. Surrender to The Mother is essential for fast descent of the Supramental consciousness.

Evaluating Sri Aurobindo without taking into consideration The Mother's contribution is half-baked. Ignoring the fact that they are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine under a new religion is self-delusion. Any scholarly lecture without incorporating these basics is a caricature. 

Political polemics needs theoretical sustenance and hence the need for sound ideological formulations. The world has almost exhausted its stock and Sri Aurobindo has to be adopted as the solution for the future. But a system based on self-interest and deception won't run for long.

Sri Aurobindo belongs to the whole world and anyone anywhere can derive inspiration from him or benefit from his luminous and voluminous writings. Savitri Era Religion however is worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine irrespective of intellectual anchor.

If people have become celebrities or occupying chairs of power by peddling dubious ideologies, Savitri Era Party too can reach at that level by the grace of The Mother & Aurobindo. That will be good not only for Bharat but also for the whole world. #WorldUnion will be a reality.

Is the intellectual arsenal of the seven thousand years old Sanatan Dharma is so poor that it is banking, exclusively, on a couple of sentences from a public speech by Sri Aurobindo delivered on an emotional occasion after his release from the jail and which was abandoned by him?

Being a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo means to lead a life of aspiration and anticipation. Living within or growing within is certainly the target but day-to-day activities hardly permit such luxury. Surrender and not self-realisation of traditional paths is the priority.

The Veda and evolution are Sri Aurobindo's USP. That man can be conscious enough to accelerate the process of evolution is the most ambitious role envisaged for him. That leads to being able to reconfigure body cells so as to conquer over death and disease. Not science fiction!

The clue to building a modern and egalitarian society lies in embracing Savitri Era Religion. This option has been there for more than a century but thought leaders have been neglecting it, all along. Going through all the phases of ignorance is perhaps the evolution's mechanism.

Professors of humanities have been studying the Western theory but no attempt has been made for a detailed sociological examination of the legacy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Intellectual tribalism has been the bane of Indian academics instead of things being judged on merit.

Political sloganeering is at variance with social dynamics and evolutionary intention. Sri Aurobindo has never been very enthusiastic in suggesting trenchant solutions to social issues like the castes or minorities. He is focussing on human unity based on fraternity of the soul.

Sri Aurobindo enacted a massive disruption of Sanatan by deconstructing the Veda starting from 1914. Nothing of the sort had been attempted before except by Dayananda to an extent. The whole of Bengal Renaissance had nothing to say on the Veda. Indians must discover this treasure.

Sri Aurobindo renders the whole of Western philosophy redundant. Same can be said about Indian philosophy too as what's best he has incorporated in The Life Divine. In many respects his worldview is entirely different from the past. So there's no Sanatan in Sri Aurobindo's system.

Savitri Era Religion is about praying to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for acceleration of evolutionary leap. Many people confidently predict about the future which are of the cosmic nature as if it is in their own hands or will happen on its own accord. But we have no such hubris.

People aren't aware of Supramental consciousness and its potential. No religion or political system has such a concept. So popularising the necessity as well as inevitability of its descent is essential. Changes in all fields are going on all the while but they can be exponential.

In book after book, Sri Aurobindo has discussed how human ego needs to be transformed for building a harmonious society. Pressure of evolution, he assures, will make this possible even if man proves to be recalcitrant or apathetic. Savitri Era Party has this burden of propaganda.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo worked in the pre-TV era and since then the world has seen unimaginable communication explosion. Many would agree that their writings are valuable for the future of humanity but commensurate communication mechanism is wanting for effective dissemination.

What The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have promised is totally new and unprecedented. Till now, Western paradigm is ruling the Indian scenario. The need to internalise new knowledge is not appreciated. But its emergence is an evolutionary indispensability leading to truth and harmony.

There's no death of specialisations and most people feel cocooned. A doctor made a post on Ashram life vis-à-vis his own profession. But he didn't refer to the reservoir of knowledge that sustains the Ashram. Significance of Sri Aurobindo's philosophy should permeate all spheres.

It's part of democracy and human rights that people should live according to their own preferences and parental influence as regards culture or religion are not binding. But political parties are flouting this principle by imposing fixed ideological regimens for securing loyalty.

People have become used to ambivalence and deception. Sri Aurobindo's stance in the Sanatan controversy has been represented by inauthentic people who have no ideological commitment to his philosophy. Media has no time or patience for searching real scholars for accurate opinion.

Spirituality of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is not for personal salvation but for ushering in an ideal society. This is identical to all political ideals but differs in methodology: purification and transformation of the individual and intervention of Supramental consciousness.

British rule gifted modernity to India. There should be concerted effort not to squander away this precious treasure. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have invoked the Vedic virtues approving Enlightenment values and have created sufficient intellectual resource for their justification.

All those who have come in contact with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo or feel attracted towards them form an advanced category or circle. Divine will is acting through the mechanism of evolution and evolution is selecting people to make them its pliable instruments. All are invited.

All have become so conscious of social inequality and exploration because of 2024. After the elections everything will be forgotten and it's business as usual. Ambedkar destroyed the Constitution by creating second class citizens through reservations. It should be removed quickly.

No need to ponder over the past. The Constitution of a modern nation must grant equality to all citizens.

Having seen the rise and fall of many philosophies and gurus during the last sixty years, the one yardstick that shouldn't be relied upon is popularity. Quest for quality is a must unless one is under some mission of safeguarding something or pushing a particular narrative.

It's to be admitted that as devotees we have nothing concrete to produce as proof. It's a new philosophy, a new ideology, a new proposition, and a new religion. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have selected us for this task. They somehow didn't choose either Ashis Nandy or Ashish Dhar.

No religion possesses self-evident truth. It's an irrational inheritance from the parents. There's no better thinker in the world than Sri Aurobindo who has analysed this dimension. Relying upon his words and assurances is the best rational option. Otherwise, it's like perdition.

Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF) is active since 2005 for dissemination of right knowledge. Savitri Era Party (2007) endeavours for harnessing this knowledge for capturing power. Savitri Era Region (2006), however, worships The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine.

Not only the name of the country but also all traditional terms need to be understood as per the reinterpretation provided by Sri Aurobindo in his The Secret of the Veda. Bhaga, for instance, signifies share or quota implying many different connotations depending on the context.

It's not unnatural to expect precise solutions to social issues from Sri Aurobindo but it needs to be remembered that his writings are part of his Divine grace. He doesn't seek to compete with other intellectual theories or doesn't compromise to placate, in his lofty conclusions.

Human problems are ontological and hence The Mother & Sri Aurobindo prefer to look at things through the universal lens. They further emphasise the Divine will as the causal principle. The solution, they believe, is part of the evolution and call for necessary human collaboration.

All life is yoga and he who chooses the infinite has been chosen by the infinite. All problems of existence are essentially problems of harmony and it is only through life that one can reach to immortality.

Four mahavakyas by Sri Aurobindo sum up the whole of his spirituality.

By insisting on the inward look, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo emphasise on merits of reversing our natural way of being. It's, in fact, for discovering the real causal reality. The secret lies in integration. Before that two other steps widening and heightening of selfhood required.

Surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is a necessity for participating in the evolution of the next step of consciousness. Any secular notion of the modality is baseless. Similarly, relating it to mythology or traditional systems is fake. Savitri Era Religion is the only option.

Despite being aware of my opposition Hindutva sympathisers continue to appropriate Sri Aurobindo to justify their dubious theories. This is intellectual dishonesty and deception. Citing his and The Mother's mature writings and overall philisophy would be a more scholarly approach.

Including The Mother in the anti-colonialist list just because she is associated with Sri Aurobindo may be defective. Rather, it should be ascertained how she transformed his ideas culminating in supporting the British against Hitler. She happens to wean him away from nationalism.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo fought against the greatest adversary which continues. Savitri is only a symbol but the actual work was far more arduous. Not to be attached to or attracted by the past, therefore, is essential for slightest contagion can push the work back by decades.

Since The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are not very reassuring about the structure of family in the future, the shape of the society or the texture of harmony within it can't be predicted with clarity. This is in variance with the conventional position espoused by traditional religions.

Savitri Era Religion is alive to the great evolutionary challenge The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have heralded. No other philosophy or religion has any clue to such prospect of humanity. Thus it's a special responsibility. Books of direct disciples are a very good help in this regard.

It's childish to assume that The Mother & Sri Aurobindo want the welfare of India alone. They are the one Supreme Divine carrying forward the evolutionary journey to the next level. So to limit them to India is a satire on them. Devotees shouldn't make themselves a laughing stock.

Sri Aurobindo has described seven types of ignorance in The Life Divine. But the fake narratives we are suffering from in India is an additional layer. Colonialism started the process which was duly followed by subsequent rulers. Now, every political party pushes its own fiction.

Intellectual pleasure like vital pleasure can be intoxicating. Philosophy means quest for truth but may fall in the above category. If linked to a religion then the hold is threefold. The teachings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo therefore prefer a balanced and diversified approach.

My knowledge of Tamilnadu politics is tenuous but the way the recent speeches of Udhayanidhi Stalin stirred the conscience of the nation seems impressive. Savitri Era Party is in agreement with many of his concerns but insists that only The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have the power.

Followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have the advantage of possessing a different lens for understanding various events and people. For instance, our impressions of H.P. Blavatsky, Annie Besant, or Sister Nivedita is quite different from what an ordinary educated person knows.

History revers successful people but Savitri Era Party doesn't since a lot of hypocrisy, conspiracy and deception are also involved. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have assured that truth and harmony will be the order of the day. All evolutionary forces are trying to establish these.

All are troubled by the trolls but it's necessary to give the devil his due too. They are constantly in search of new expressions and euphemisms to be creative in a highly competitive environment leading to new linguistic frontiers and plumbing loopholes for escaping legal action.

Lack of communication is responsible for people's ignorance of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Savitri Era Party is confident that it will be recognised for the best philosophy, best political theory, best ethics, and best religion with passage of time. That's the logic of modernity.

There was no Social Media at the time of P.C. Joshi (1907–1980) yet he worked wonders for influencing the intellectual and aesthetic scene which continues to this day. The followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo should emulate that spirit so that their talent is put to proper use.

Most religions thrive by peddling miracles but Savitri Era Religion is more about retitence and restraint. The Mother's insistence is on nobility and purity otherwise the very purpose of our endeavour will be defeated. "Endure and you'll conquer… bear—bear and you'll vanquish."

Close study of The works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and their prophecies clearly reveals a dismal future for the dominant religions. Savitri Era Religion with its modern and evolutionary approach will cause the collapse of its predecessors. Uttarpara speech is merely embryonic.

The incredible story of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo publishing a philosophical journal and later setting up an Ashram for spiritual practice is the most significant event of the last century. People should follow their legacy instead of being lured into the parlour of fake gurus.

Having lived under all the 14 Prime Ministers (without stepping outside the country), I have some unique experiences as a citizen. I have lived in a village, semi-urban, urban, and a metropolis in four States and seen the technological revolution with Sri Aurobindo as the anchor.

Last eighteen years in social media have also demonstrated that I have unique political ideas and no one is willing to align with me. Instead of being disappointed, I take this as a sign of strength which might prove its might some day. I also suspect shadow-banning by platforms.

Mahavakyas like Aham Brahmasmi or Tat Tvam Asi are popular but it's by reading The Life Divine that the process of involution by which the creation took shape is brought home. This revolutionary revelation by Sri Aurobindo overthrew the reigning philosophy of illusion of Shankara.

Animals did not do anything for man to appear on Earth but man must collaborate with evolution for the advent of the Supramental being. Being conscious of this necessity and surrendering to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is the only way to break the shackle of ignorance and suffering.

Such an experienced teacher and a woman; as an erstwhile teacher, it fills me with revulsion. I have been campaigning against Hindutva on the basis of the teachings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Following them is the only way to stop spreading this poison of hatred, any further.

Western philosophy has many assets. First and foremost is logic. The power of presenting cogent arguments without committing fallacies. The second is language. Over the centuries it has amassed writings of superlative order which most find abstruse. The third is mutual conflicts.

The advantage of following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is that one is saved from debates regarding the existence of God. Another aspect is not to be impressed by tall claims of mystical experience and self-realisation. Only thing that counts is waiting for the grace of The Mother.

A very good introduction to Jean Baudrillard. No philosopher before him has shown this world of ours in a more wonderful way. The reality that we live in becomes in his hands totally unrecognisable and alien. One clamours in disbelief and yet there is no means for escaping.

From another angle the philosophy itself leads to practice or Yoga. Knowledge is a whip quips Sri Aurobindo in The Life Divine and even simple reading can be an occasion for communion with the massed-consciousness (Chaitanya-ghana). Reciting Savitri is a veritable Yajna sacrifice.

Development in India has been progressive and so thinking that the present Prime Minister is a Messiah is delusional. People rating their Chief Ministers in Odisha and West Bengal is no different. Personality cult bulldozing democratic values and aspirations is playing havoc.

I have seen people like Gulzarilal Nanda, Lal Bahadur Shastri, and V.P. Singh becoming the Prime Minister. So change can come through the democratic process. Each citizen needs to be aware of his or her democratic duties and aspire for ideals and values stressed by Sri Aurobindo.

At one point, there were no human beings on this planet but they came through the process of evolution. Changes in the future will happen through that inevitable process like sunrise of tomorrow's morning. Present imperfections will melt to give rise to virtues dreamt in the Veda. 

I don't think you are conversant with Sri Aurobindo's psychological interpretation of the Veda and the picture of the future society he paints in the last two chapters of The Life Divine, his magnum opus. Authentic knowledge about the life and the world can't be had without them.

Each individual is a bundle of some streams of consciousness and the collective consciousness is a larger receptacle capable of assimilating higher inspiration and molding individuals accordingly. Thus individual defects are not a barrier for evolution. It acts at the macro level.

With The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, we are in a safe ground; the safest rather. It's their yogic vision and metaphysical formulation. We don't have to do anything else than surrendering to them. There's is no other philosophy, past or present, which can surpass their integral vision.

I'm a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo from the age of eight with practically no exposure to other gurus. If you find merit in what you say I have nothing to differ. But as per my intellectual survey, many top ranking scholars have emphatically said what I have just repeated.

It's a question of following a certain philosophy without any assurance of the final result. But then, that's the very definition of a seeker.

The conversation has drifted much. Concentrating on a particular theme would be better.

Unlike other gurus, Savitri Era Religion is separate from Hinduism. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine and hence the compulsion of proceeding independently. Other gurus, unfortunately, are not allowing their followers to read Sri Aurobindo's books.

Odisha has a large number of devotees as well as scholars of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Auroville Foundation being a govt organisation should ensure decent representation from the State in its functions and celebrations. Odias should not be neglected just because they don't push.

Fairness is the hallmark of an ideal democracy which regrettably is yet to materialise. We hear about some examples who have practiced but in most cases it is marketing. People love to deify someone and believe in myths. Self-interest being the defining instinct, fairness is rare.

For the sake of neatness of posts, I don't use tags or hashtags. I also avoid the like button. Brevity is the forte of this platform and there is the danger of slipping into rambling in case of longer posts. Further, I try to utilise the full character limit with much difficulty.

Portraying Sri Aurobindo as anti-colonialist is problematic. He was against colonial rule, no doubt, but his debt to the West and his appreciation of Western culture can't be overlooked. Besides, The Mother too represents the West, although her parents were from Turkey and Egypt.

Empirical investigation of the existence by scientists and philosophers is rather an easy job. The task of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, as scholars, is much tougher since they speak of the supranational truth through the rational method. And theirs is not intellectual speculation.

Auroville News podcast talks about unauthorised cutting of trees and continued turmoil while the official side held a LitFest on the other hand. So many court cases are also going on. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo stand for peace and harmony but the current situation is the opposite.

It's interesting that many of Sri Aurobindo's books were written as a review or response to other authors. He made William Archer famous. Karl Lamprecht, Sir John Woodroffe, and James H. Cousins feature prominently in his other works. R.D. Ranade is mentioned apropos Heraclitus.

It's easy for us today to imagine The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine but just think of the direct disciples who interacted with them as so. How much overwhelming it must be and what the pressure all through the month or year. We have with us a few such specimens.

Most people are aware of spiritual practices and so what is special about The Mother & Sri Aurobindo? Sounds logical but following them is the only way for knowing their divinity. Their teachings are a small part. How they are harbingers of evolution can be known by appreciation.

The Mother was born in France on February 21, 1878 and Sri Aurobindo went to England in 1879 and stayed till 1893. Although they lived so near to each other, their first meeting took place in Puducherry on March 29, 1914. ARYA was launched signalling the then intellectual urgency.

Savitri Era Religion is based on Sri Aurobindo's philosophy of evolution, delineated in The Life Divine. It is also anchored to surrender to The Mother who is the one Supreme Divine along with Sri Aurobindo. Savitri is a long, philosophical poem on the theme of conquest of death.

After Auroville LitFest, now Pondy LitFest. Good to see that it's a Hindutva affair and Sri Aurobindo is not involved. Such neat separation will stop confusing the young generation. But a word of caution. Congress and the Left had made the same mistake of fabricating a narrative.

It is heartening that independent focus on The Mother is growing but academic studies can't sustain without comparisons and juxtapositions. That is understandable but needless extraneous matter trivialises the principal subject under consideration. However, the circumstances were such that The Mother & Sri Aurobindo will continue to be compared with their contemporaries, both Indian and Western.

From the point of view of Savitri Era Religion, the problem is a bit accentuated. Since The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine, a devotee feels the comparisons are superfluous. Further, the gratuitous comments offered turn out, more often than not, irritating. Informed and valid criticism, however, should always be welcomed.

Apart from these general complaints, I have been pointing out many methodological aspects from time to time. The first and foremost is since The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have not fully theorised their being the one Supreme Divine, their metaphysical formulations should not be treated as final. Ultimately, it depends upon how the devotees perceive them in the long run.

Another allied point is as their own writings are to be approached with caution, the perceptions of their direct disciples and other perceptive scholars should assume added importance. Besides, the sociological dimensions concerning the devotees and Darshan Day celebrations should also receive academic attention instead of the one-way picture painted so far.

Appropriation and wrong representation are nagging problems and it will continue but awareness on these fronts and right argument can dissuade many. It is upon the devotees to protect the respect and honour of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and developing necessary institutional mechanisms should be a priority.

Just like Marx, famously, stood Hegel on his head, Savitri Era Religion worships The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine instead of the biographical approach of successive spiritual realisations determining their greatness. Stories of their lives are merely a play.

It's true that many have tried to show The Mother in a poor light as compared to Sri Aurobindo. But when we start from their Supreme Divine status, other historical or exegetical aspects get blurred. Thus, methodologically, Savitri Era religion transcending the texts is in order.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine who are always present and hence calling them Guru, Avatar, Master, or Shakti etc is erroneous. The Mother's photograph is kept in the left and, accordingly, addressing them should begin with The Mother for the mantric effect.

Apart from the mistaken notion of addressing them as Avatar or Guru, The Mother is also characterised as Shakti. These are all drawn from traditional metaphysical formulations. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, on the contrary, are the one Supreme Divine under the Savitri Era Religion.

The revolutionary image and the Ashram identity are a drag on the relevance of Sri Aurobindo. His philosophy and vision for the future has nothing to do with both these aspects. His works warrant serious study and there's no sectarian impediment as his horizon is truly universal.
