Simply being an admirer or a follower of Sri Aurobindo is not enough. Accepting The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the sign of being a devotee. Only the devotees are capable of aspiring for descent of the Supramental consciousness effectively with their grace.

The Secret of the Veda was written by Sri Aurobindo more than a century ago but hasn't been read or discussed adequately. There should be clarity as regards how far his propositions are true. Paying lip service to Sri Aurobindo by ignoring his important contributions should stop.

The Supramental being or Superman as conceived in the philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is too distant from present realities. The highest conception for a human being, however, has been defined as the characteristic traits of a Brahmin. Not birth or caste-based of course!

Like Hegel, Sri Aurobindo has aligned history with philosophy. Thus evolution or Divine intention can't be decoupled from politics. Practical nature of politics is taken for granted and many are too cocksure of managing or manipulating but the outcome is not wholly in their hands.

Old philosophical texts in Sanskrit have been flogged to death. Commentaries on them too have been combed ad nauseam. The books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are a breath of fresh air in this context which hold immense futuristic potential for moulding minds and unfolding events.

Old religions have their peculiar mythologies but Savitri Era Religion is more inclined towards philosophy and psychology. Universities world over are teaching outdated philosophies but The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have unveiled Vedic evolutionary philosophy and Integral psychology.

After writing The Life Divine, Sri Aurobindo examined the question of Rebirth in a speculative format. He also wrote about India in a popular style. The Future Poetry too could be construed as catering to the cultural genre. Comments on current affairs like War however are rare.

Our intellectuals and journalists have forgotten Sri Aurobindo completely. No one is interested in him. No one finds any virtue in his massive writings. He is totally irrelevant in politics. Absolutely valueless for academics too. Such a sad state of affairs! It will end one day.

Tagore and Netaji popularised the image of an escapist about Sri Aurobindo among the Bengalis. Congress labelled him as an extremist advocating violence. Historians banished him from the text books due to spirituality. Hindutva camp confines him to a revolutionary and nationalist.

Radhakrishnan didn't rate Sri Aurobindo's philosophy highly and refused to treat his symbolic interpretation of the Veda as of any significance. Ramakrishna Mission didn't permit its followers to study Sri Aurobindo's books. P. Lal and Nissim Ezekiel, too, disapproved his poetry.

Technology and development shouldn't delude us into believing that we live in an era of knowledge. The whole world is wallowing in ignorance and the challenge is to turn towards the beacons of light. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the only source of knowledge and right direction.

The philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo seem tethered to Ashram and Auroville. In Ashram the members are dependent for their sustenance on an authoritarian management. In Auroville people are to fend for themselves and hence all kinds of conflicts. Yoga however is different.

The Mother was born on February 21, 1878 in Paris of Jewish parents, her father being Turkish and mother Egyptian. She first came to India in 1914 and stayed in India from her second visit in 1920 till she passed away in 1973. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine.

Different political parties are busy spreading their ideologies aided by money and organisation. Savitri Era Party is confident that knowledge alone can conquer and power of the message of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo will be self-evident. Evolution of consciousness is infallible.

In view of the fact that various schools of thought and traditional systems are being promoted with all modern management techniques, the philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo fails to reach the attention space of people. Those who are aware also don't feel interested about it

The Life Divine began appearing in Arya in August 1914 and within two three years, its groundbreaking philosophy of evolution was published. However, the world is callous towards it after more than a century. Let's hope that Sri Aurobindo is taught in Universities as part of NEP.

Sri Aurobindo wrote fresh appraisals of Veda, Upanishads, and Gita in Arya. He also tried to synthesise various spiritual attitudes towards a universal approach. His optimism for a harmonious society is a pillar of light. Consciousness, and not mere development, is the solution.

I had purchased Sri Aurobindo and Karl Marx: Integral Sociology and Dialectical Sociology (1991) by D.P. Chattopadhaya from Daryaganj Sunday market three decades back and I can't tell how much have I benefitted from the book to understand Sri Aurobindo. Deserves to be a text book

The Meeting of the East and the West in Sri Aurobindo's Philosophy (1956) by Sisir Kumar Maitra is the main book which turned me towards Western philosophy. Sri Aurobindo and Bergson (1972) by A.C. Bhattacharya and Sri Aurobindo and Whitehead (1972) by S.P. Singh also helped.

Mythological background prevents rigorous ontological inquiry in India. Western philosophy reveals eminence of Sri Aurobindo's contribution in the history of ideas. Besides, his sophisticated presentation is also a connoisseur's delight. To top it all, spirituality and divinity.

Awareness about Sri Aurobindo as the topmost thinker of the country has increased in a great measure. But reading his works isn't an easy job. I was given this opportunity for the last sixty years which is a blessing. Those who will take it up will do a great favour to themselves

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine and they chose India as their place of work. The role of their direct disciples has been outstanding. Current confusion and misunderstanding might evaporate with political change which is not unlikely. Rationality is solution.

I worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine and have been opposed to the temple movement from its very inception. I don't know why did they choose my birthday for their inauguration. This also comes with the sad news that Sri Aurobindo's Relics Centre is theirs.

No amount of celebration can earn even a single extra vote for BJP since the situation in different States remains rigid. Division of votes in UP between SP and BSP is the only factor for winning in 2024. It might change with opposition uniting. Too much of religion may backfire!

The celebration seems to be more by shaming and humiliating the detractors than any positive or epochal achievement. Victmhood is very much the running theme. Remember, you can't wipe out political differences in a democracy. Rather respect those who hold their convictions dearly.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine who are always present. No one can be compared to them nor can any old mythology or cosmology be imposed upon them. Many of their writings need to be read in the light of their own divinity which they never claimed explicitly.

Current slugfest over rituals exposes their vacuity and futility which Savitri Era Religion has been highlighting for the last two decades. In his The Secret of the Veda, Sri Aurobindo has, clearly, discovered that the symbolic meanings are the true representation of the mantras.

Savitri Era Religion doesn't scavenge upon the past for it's precursed on the texture and contours of the future. Not only the dynamics of society or mindscape of man but also possible changes in his body and capabilities of the organs. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have done a lot.

Many people don't find The Mother & Sri Aurobindo relevant and they may be right. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo never relied upon any of the current formulas or piecemeal solutions. Descent of the Supramental consciousness is the only means for ushering in Harmony, they insisted.

Reading some books of Sri Aurobindo is indispensable for intellectual development. But that's only the beginning. Being conversant with at least one hundred books connected with him may take a decade or two. Then integrating all those thoughts for the right worldview is the task.

The Mother has announced that the Supramental consciousness descended in principle on February 29, 1956. Its effect is very much there and any activity relating to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo has the potential of transforming into unimaginable consequences. One must be conscious.

The Life Divine was originally published in Arya from 1914 to 1919. The philosophical breakthrough it accomplished remains unsurpassed. However, the role of people believing in this theory or supporting it is not much stressed in the book. Savitri Era Religion fills up this gap.

How much money and organisation goes into the publicity and propagation of old religions is well-known. Savitri Era Religion relies on the intellectual calibre of the young generation for appreciating freedom from mythology and rituals. Further, it's universal without boundaries.

Sri Aurobindo started revealing the true meaning of the Veda right from the inaugural issue of Arya in 1914. India's greatest treasure is this, he has emphasised at many places. Yet, people have become habituated in consuming cheap adulterated knowledge. Change of taste warranted.

In the absence of anyone else expressing his or her exclusive allegiance towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo on this platform, my personal achievements over the years become important as basis for possible legal recognition of Savitri Era Religion which I founded way back in 2006.

Situation in Auroville is worsening day by day and it's now clear that the original dream of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo has been successfully derailed. Matrimandir being the most important place of worship for the devotees, Auroville should be handed over to Savitri Era Religion.

From the perspective of Savitri Era Party, intellectuals belonging to Hindutva, Congress, or Left camp are ethically compromised. Otherwise it's not difficult to perceive the truth of what The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are saying. Exacting intellectual and ethical levels are needed.

Being a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo from early childhood I haven't faced any inducement to read Sanskrit scriptures or literature. Sri Aurobindo has done a splendid job in translating what's necessary and by writing commentaries on them. Going beyond is at your own risk.

It's easy to get an ego-boost for the followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo by seeing the devotees and tourists visiting the Ashram but the reality outside is dismal. Integral yoga, with its ivory tower presentation, has failed to percolate. Savitri Era Religion is the solution.

Philosophy basically is the attempt to explain the reality without bringing in the god, religion, or any divine cause. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo too tried to avoid the framework of religion in their writings but they being the one Supreme Divine, it's difficult to avoid religion.

What The Mother & Sri Aurobindo wrote or achieved during their lifetime can't be the sole measure of their worth. For, they are the one Supreme Divine and are always present. They are in charge of navigating the evolutionary trajectory and designing the course of future events.

She is the Divine Mother, we were told, and I accepted. That was in 1964 when I was only eight. Ideal Child was not easy to understand but had some exotic attraction. All this because of the Study Circle movement across Odisha led by Prapatti and Babaji Maharaj through Navajyoti.

The Mother laid the foundation stone of Auroville in 1968 started by Sri Aurobindo Society. She passed away in 1973 leaving some impractical dreams behind. Govt. of India took it over in 1980 demolishing all those dreams and visions. Govt. should return Auroville and Matrimandir.

I have been against the temple movement since its inception. Now I will have to bear an unsavoury memory on my birthday, i.e., January 22. As Founder of Savitri Era Religion, I worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine who have predicted descent of Supramental.

There is a general perception that insights from different cultures and religions are to be found in the works of Sri Aurobindo, which is true. But the way he presents them as unconnected with any particular tradition or institution is simply marvellous. Spirituality to the core.

Hindutva enthusiasts tend to see no difference between the govt and the party. The party is within its rights to debar any shade of opinion. But why the govt should throttle diversity of opinion and plurality of viewpoints is difficult to understand. Universities may fall in line

Since degrees are now linked directly to quantum of pay packages, talking of intellectual activity for the sake of pure joy or wonder might seem misplaced but there is a time in life when one is drawn towards these things. Sri Aurobindo's writings are a fertile ground to explore.

Reading many gurus or great men can be confusing. Sri Aurobindo's books provide the right intellectual orientation and aesthetic enjoyment. Establishing one's intimacy with his thought is important. Each one has his own special background and hence no need of help of someone else

Sri Aurobindo's Relics Centre in Ayodhya is in news. The man behind establishing this Centre was Ramakrishna Das (Babaji Maharaj) from Odisha who later joined Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Puducherry and became responsible for setting up thousands of Study Circles throughout the State.

The temple movement can be seen as a genuine democratic upsurge and its political use therefore has considerable legitimacy although its basis is wrong ab initio. But that the whole affair will be surrendered to the political masters of the day before elections was never imagined

Sri Aurobindo has given the best possible explanation of the mystery of the world and its future. He has provided the most elaborate psychological framework, vetted by the Veda, useful for attaining spiritual states. Thirdly, his prediction of a perfect society is no mere utopia.

Never before in India, so many people were able to read, with infinite access at their fingertips. Yet most are unable to reach at the right knowledge source due to lack of curiosity and zeal for research. Echo-chamber and ecosystem are preventing them from critical perspectives.

Intellectuals in India have mortgaged their conscience to one party or the other. Thus, let it be known that this is the only handle for independent and objective views. Sri Aurobindo provides that Archimedean point which even many of his well-known and well-read followers miss.

Jayant Bhandari is preaching that India will become a barbaric nation but The Mother & Sri Aurobindo never foresaw such a future. They were rather confident that India has the Vedic knowledge which it will pass on to the world. But one can't be sure what happens in the short run.

Some commentators have inferred that the Romanticism of English poetry had influenced Sri Aurobindo's conception of Nationalism. But it is instructive to remember that he simply had wanted the sleeping nation to rise through a variety of methods, including resorting to militancy.

Remembering The Mother & Sri Aurobindo by nourishing a sense of surrender is the sign of a devotee. Aspiration for high ideals like Harmony, Perfection, and Supramental consciousness is also an indication. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine however is a primary condition.

Savitri Era Party has been demanding legal recognition of Savitri Era Religion as a separate minority religion so that the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and various places of worship or educational institutions dedicated to them get Constitional protection. Devotees unite!

Those expressing devotion towards other gods and goddesses are defying The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Such persons holding institutional positions is a double whammy. Savitri Era Religion has to fight with outsiders as well as insiders. Clear cut directions to officials is necessary.

Savitri Era Religion promotes a simplified version of the teachings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo without insisting on the intricate architecture of Integral yoga like Psychic Being or Inner living. It leans more on remember, surrender, and Grace than systematic personal effort.

Sri Aurobindo's role in the Freedom movement and the subsequent phase of Ashram living offered him the opportunity to write. The Ashram has its own press and books distribution agency due to which his writings have been preserved for the future generations incarnateword.in/cwsa

One starts with the story books, no doubt, but not being able to graduate from fiction can't be regarded as a strength. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo encourage to know the mystery of life and the world. Reading their books is considered as part of yoga or a participant in evolution.

Many Hindutva intellectuals excel in exposing the weaknesses of the opposition but that's not the best way for proving your superiority. What intellectual ingredients would be of help in facing the challenges of future should attract attention. Sri Aurobindo is indispensable here.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine under the Savitri Era Religion, which came into being in 2006. Many of their followers are unwilling to join a separate religion and so are free to worship other gods or gurus. But it's wrong to follow two paths.

In the absence of anyone else expressing his or her exclusive allegiance towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo on this platform, my personal achievements over the years become important as basis for possible legal recognition of Savitri Era Religion which I founded way back in 2006.

Situation in Auroville is worsening day by day and it's now clear that the original dream of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo has been successfully derailed. Matrimandir being the most important place of worship for the devotees, Auroville should be handed over to Savitri Era Religion.

Devotees of Ram Temple should exit so that genuine followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo may breathe peacefully. Integral yoga is inalienably linked to surrender to The Mother and any admixture is inadmissible. Savitri Era Religion has been specifically created for this reason.

The Mother has given symbolic names to a large number of flowers denoting their spiritual significance and a similar attempt has been done by Sri Aurobindo to identify the Vedic deities by their intrinsic qualities. Aspiration for embodying these virtues is yoga of transformation. 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were confident of giving some new knowledge to the world as against the then prevailing confusion wrought by the nineteenth century. They started the Arya monthly magazine in August 1914 wherein most major books of #SriAurobindo were published.

Although most of Sri Aurobindo's writings first appeared in the journal Arya (1914-1921), they weren't available for wider-reading until some of them were published as books, long after. The Mother used to stress more on the practice of yoga aspect than mere intellectual culture.

There's no other alternative to surrender to The Mother if one is serious about the descent of Supramental consciousness as the solution for all problems besetting humanity. Otherwise one is free to avoid Sri Aurobindo to follow any other guru or god. Such is Savitri Era Religion.

From the perspective of Savitri Era Party, intellectuals belonging to Hindutva, Congress, or Left camp are ethically compromised. Otherwise it's not difficult to perceive the truth of what The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are saying. Exacting intellectual and ethical levels are needed.

Collective yoga is not confined to collective meditation that the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are familiar with. It is, basically, aspiration by the collective for the higher consciousness and voluntarily striving for it. Savitri Era Party aims to be such a collective.

Britishers manipulated the media and the narrative and the trend continued after Independence. Today it has become mainstream with added legitimacy, aided by technology. The voice of Sri Aurobindo, in this scenario, has been feeble but has powerful potential and ethical rectitude.

With its size and variety of population, India should have been an interesting area of research but the Western world neglects it. Western philosophy chooses to be in the provincial mould without any chance of contact with Sri Aurobindo. India itself is fighting against Hindutva!

All life is yoga entails religion as well as politics being part of our daily activities. Exclusive allegiance towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is essential for success in the right direction. Democracy has high ideals and there should be constant effort to arrive at Harmony.

Many people compulsively mention Bankim, Vivekananda, or Netaji before Sri Aurobindo's name. This is a judgemental error. Only The Mother should be put before Sri Aurobindo so that the right representation of their being the one Supreme Divine is put across as evolutionary force.

Being a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo from early childhood I haven't faced any inducement to read Sanskrit scriptures or literature. Sri Aurobindo has done a splendid job in translating what's necessary and by writing commentaries on them. Going beyond is at your own risk.

Comparing, or equating, Sri Aurobindo with some of his contemporaries is an error. Putting all commentaries on Gita together, for instance, is misleading. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings are the words of the one Supreme Divine and should be accorded the commensurate status.

One line of thinking is that Sri Aurobindo is just a commentator on religious scriptures while another section perceives him as inciting violence during the Freedom movement. Thus his philosophy, poetry, and political theory don't receive the appreciation or respect they deserve.

Many books have been published regarding The Mother & Sri Aurobindo after their departure among which those by Satprem have a special place. He throws the necessity of an evolutionary transition, as shown by #SriAurobindo into stark relief. Of course, he was thrown out of Ashram!

When nobody had thought of Independence, Sri Aurobindo spoke of it. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo defeated Hitler by siding with the British and later, gave us Independence on the 75th birthday of #SriAurobindo. They predicted descent of Supramental consciousness, what no one knows.

Brahmo had everything. Elements of Advaita, Buddhism, Christianity, and Humanist romanticism. But The Mother & Sri Aurobindo settled for a personal god, The Mother. Integral yoga is meaningless without surrender to her. Spiritual but not Religious movement, too, is an absurdity.

The Dawn of Everything tells of the past but The Symbol Dawn by Sri Aurobindo beckons towards the future. #SriAurobindo definitely attempted to create something like Dante or Milton in Savitri but it transcended them by being an anthem of Immortality in the Vedic sense of mantra.

Educated men supported the British, educated men supported the Congress, educated men supported the Marxist agenda, and now, educated men and women too are supporting Hindutva. So, nothing to be surprised. Savitri Era Party is canvassing for The Mother & Sri Aurobindo since 2007.

Others are busy with their own religions and, so, I should be concerned with my Savitri Era Religion. The biggest convenience is that there are no rituals or mythologies to nurture. It's a modern-liberal mentality with lots of intellectual and aesthetic resources to fall back on.

If Savitri Era Religion receives govt. recognition today, then ninety percent of the present followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo will leave the scene, since most devotees are fake. The Ashram will stop receiving donations from all sections and its survival could be at stake.

There are clear signs that the ideologies of dominant political parties are floundering. That's a big hope for 2024, even though it may not translate into favourable election results. However, an iota of intellectual superiority can go a long way. Indians, surely, deserve better!

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are outside any institutional control or ownership. Initially one may be attached to some Centre or a School but the secret is to treat The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as your own and discover their myriad facets. Rituals and celebrations help but are a bar!

Confining The Mother & Sri Aurobindo to their biographical limit is an error. They are the one Supreme Divine and are always present. Etching this fact on one's mind is the responsibility of everyone for freedom from mythology and rituals and right guidance to younger generation.

Not to be able to accept The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine and attraction for other gods or gurus is a weakness. It has to be offered to them as such, with a constant prayer as to how to overcome it. I haven't faced any such problem during the last sixty years.

Many sincere devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo feel revulsion towards Savitri Era Religion as it can't be validated by their writings. But my lived experience of the last sixty years duly documented during the past two decades is no less significant than Ambedkar or Periyar.

Discovering The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is not all that difficult. If one reads their books having a reasonable intellectual background, then their superiority comes to the fore and he or she can't go back to anything else. Easy way to eschew mythology.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo assure that India won't be pushed to a medieval scenario despite the attempt of the dominant ideology of the day. Other political parties lack intellectual wherewithal to fight for such a prospect. Only Savitri Era Party and Savitri Era Religion can do.

Most intellectuals haven't read the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and are busy spreading falsehood and ignorance. As Director of Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF), I have been disseminating the Integral perspective through two dozen blogs since 2005.

No one assured me that the country I was born in will be a highly developed one. So, no frustration on that count. No one gave any firm indication that human misery will vanish. So, no disappointment on that score, either. That leaves only The Mother & Sri Aurobindo to rely upon.

The Mother is inseparable from Sri Aurobindo but some scholars tend to ignore her. Descent of Supramental consciousness can't take place without her grace and sanction. Sri Aurobindo has written about her significance extensively and hence there shouldn't be doubt on this score.

It gives the impression that Dayananda came after Vivekananda. Overlooking all that happened before the latter is also a blind spot.

Ideally, the review should start with Chaitanya.

Some are of the opinion that the future of the earth is dark but Sri Aurobindo strongly believes that human society is moving towards a brighter destiny. His appeal for the cooperation of all for descent of Supramental consciousness. No need for old customs in this grand journey.

From the psychoanalytical perspective, Nitish Kumar said about himself more than what he said by way of advising others. Discussion on sex thoughts in old age is a rarity and should equally draw attention as his reported comments. No one should be prevented to speak his mind.

Vivekananda tried to raise a new religion around Ramakrishna and Nehru attempted the same around Gandhi. Both failed but count as important milestone in reforming Indian society. Savitri Era Religion with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as inspiration is the real option for the future

Being from the RKM background, many Hindutva intellectuals hold high regard for Vivekananda. But over the last five years, the message has spread gradually that Sri Aurobindo is a far more original and authentic thinker. This will grow as more and more people will read his books.

I have been writing on The Mother & Sri Aurobindo since 2005 and here on X from 2012. I have been trying to bring clarity and transparency to their complex legacy since it's difficult for any newcommer. But unfortunately, people don't read my posts and prefer their own ignorance.

Savitri Era Religion is the best means for leading a modern life. No mythology, no rituals, and no traditional customs. Aspiration for Supramental consciousness and surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the only basic requirements for being part of this worldwide community.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have gifted me the intellectual freedom from imaginary mythology and vain rituals. They have avoided empty promises or lofty miracles. They simply extend the scientific theory of evolution to show how the descent of Supramental consciousness is certain.

The philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is meant for the whole humanity. No specific institution or location has ownership over it. Anyone living anywhere in the world can turn to them and read their books without having to depend upon someone else. It's direct relationship.

Modernity, in fact, entered with the Europeans and Nehru, no doubt, nurtured it with all his might. He, however, had no means of delivering people from the clutches of religious obscurantism the effect of which we witness today. That task had been ably performed by Sri Aurobindo.

On the one hand Nehru ignored Gandhi's illogical views and on the other he spurned Hindu pressure. In economic field too he resisted attraction of capitalism on one side and socialism and communism on the other. Disregarding America and Russia he created the Non-aligned movement.

Not lost exactly but suffers from the lack of deserved evaluation and dissemination. Thanks for this little help for spreading his name which is so essential for furthering the ideals Nehru represented. It's absolutely necessary to understand how the combination works for India and the world

The penetration of modernity into Indian society was not complete. But the support of the educated people for Hindutva has turned the clock back. Proper maintenance of the foundations laid by Nehru can only be possible by following the principles of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

Visiting their bookshop, instead, would have been more enlightening and humbling. Mapping exercise and the right direction in life, therefore, is so important! Many people return back from Auroville thinking, mistakenly, that it's the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.

Yes, brick and mortar have their limitations everywhere. The Mother and Sri Aurobindo, therefore, have left behind seventy volumes of their writings to be accessed online, free.

Most people think that most of the things change except religions. Nobody is courageous enough to foresee a world bereft of the present religions. Only The Mother & Sri Aurobindo did and Savitri Era Religion is going to replace the religions of today. That will be the end of war.

Sri Aurobindo started publishing his prominent books in 1914 and they were mostly unknown for a century but with the advent of Internet, it's intriguing why they remain so after 2014. Intellectual lethargy and political antipathy is understandable but institutional failure, not.

You have been highlighting this for a while now but to no avail. The legacy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is complex and, hence, anyone can mould it according to her sweet will. My take, however, is slightly different. Legal recognition as a minority religion will provide safety.

Congress cannot inculcate the visceral hatred in its workers which is the hallmark of BJP karyakartas. That ideological recipe has hundreds of ingredients or a million mutinies.

You are entitled to your political beliefs and counter-narratives but roping in great men with very different ideologies as mere tropes or slogans won't earn you credibility. Further, transposing what's local as the national, or even civilisational, is intellectually dishonest.

Let there be no doubt as to what Sri Aurobindo achieved in his life. His Vadodara and Kolkata periods were preparatory. Life in Puduchrry till 1926 was consolidation. 1926 to 1950, when descent of Supramental consciousness was his focus, is the real Sri Aurobindo we worship today

A member of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry, using intemperate language to a devotee on a public platform should attract appropriate disciplinary action. Employees and teachers should be trained adequately as to how to behave with the public on matters relating to Sri Aurobindo.

As devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, we don't worship other gods or gurus. Those flouting are admirers and not devotees. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo haven't prescribed any particular method or ritual. Succumbing to contrary social pressure is at the risk of one's own peril.

Sri Aurobindo had punctured the intellectual legitimacy of Hindutva even before it was born. He had also pointed out shortcomings of Congress. So beware of all those who are expressing deceptive tributes to him today without subscribing to an iota of his ideological formulations.

The direct disciples lived in a different age. The Nehruvian vision was in operation and they employed all their creativity in portraying The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in as liberal a way as possible. Hindutva is a global menace now and Savitri Era Party offers the right concoction.

Thanks to the great foresight of Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy, ably articulated in the dissenting judgement in the Auroville case that we in the Savitri Era Religion feel safe. Otherwise, the majoritarian ethos would like to annihilate us one day. Savitri Era Party too is relevant.

The Mother was responsible for erecting a distinct identity for Sri Aurobindo's philosophy which managed to draw hundreds of followers and creation of Ashram. Immense sacrifices were involved for nurturing this speciality which a few are willing to sell for a few pieces of silver. 

Let's be honest. BJP rode to power on the Mandir wave. Modi capured power by piggybacking on Kejriwal. A similar advantage may be difficult to come by. Now almost all States are run by satraps. The scenario is entirely different now. The concept of a national party is over.

Om Sri Aurobindo & The Mother.

A section is of the opinion that the ruling party is acting undemocratically but I don't remember any party or govt acting democratically during the last sixty years. Hypocrisy has been widespread all along and hunger for power and money have reigned which will have consequences!

Like all religions, Savitri Era Religion has many ways as to how to approach The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Savitri and The Synthesis of Yoga are ideal for immersion while The Life Divine and The Human Cycle are good for contemplation. The Mother and The Letters are for meditation.

I have been active in social media since 2005 and maintaining two dozen blog sites, apart from X, has enabled me to be in the business of thinking. Besides, looking at current affairs from the point of view of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy has been a constant challenge.

Most of the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo don't look beyond their personal sadhana and welfare. I as the President of Savitri Era Party, on the contrary, am concerned with the sociological aspects of our collective existence like Govt recognition for Savitri Era Religion

I have been opposing all political parties and hence my posts don't reach many. However, I have the satisfaction of taking an ethical and impartial stand on various issues. Reservation, for instance, may be good but it renders the Constitution as unjust against the other sections

In addition to air pollution or noise pollution, it's necessary to be aware of intellectual pollution. Most educated people haven't read anything by Sri Aurobindo as a result of which suffer from warped thinking and skewed logic. Some even write books the blind leading the blind!

There's no shortcut for knowing Sri Aurobindo or understanding his writings. The writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and some of their direct disciples constitute one hundred books. The education system, unfortunately, is indifferent to the immense value of this knowledge hub.

Savitri Era Learning Forum, Ghaziabad has been trying to introduce people to new knowledge since 2005. Apart from the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo awareness of Western philosophy and futurology has been the focus. Right view on historical narratives too is a preferred area

It's by the immeasurable grace of The Mother that I have been able to run Savitri Era Learning Forum (2005), Savitri Era Religion (2006), and Savitri Era Party (2007) uninterruptedly, almost singlehandedly. It has been an unique effort considering immense technological changes.

Reading the books of Sri Aurobindo in original is necessary for assimilating the right knowledge. Mentioning his name on the basis of sketchy impressions or clubbing his name along with other great men should be avoided. The works of The Mother is an altogether different subject.

Wrong persons have been imposed upon the people as icons as a result of which educational ideals have become topsy-turvy. Neglect of Sri Aurobindo continues as no one in policy-making area is interested in his philosophy or prophecy. Self-effort needed to read and understand him.

Most people are curious about politics and hence the historical significance of Sri Aurobindo interests them. Some others are enthusiastic about the history of ideas who try to lacate Sri Aurobindo's contributions to it. Both have their own validity but real import is elsewhere.

Sri Aurobindo Ashram enforces discipline and silence which makes the devotees passive and aloof. I tried to introduce themes like politics and religion and many people have benefited from this discourse. The hegemony of Hindutva, however, is a roadblock and has to be surmounted.

Some Hindutva handles are consistent in quoting a few sentences where The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have mentioned some Hindu gods or goddesses. They are not willing to read anything else from their writings since they claim to have already received significant spiritual experiences

Savitri Era Party has no presence on the ground but it possesses immense intellectual legitimacy in comparison to the ruling party or the opposition. We pray to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for hastening the force of evolution so that the country chooses the right ideology in 2024.

We know about the ongoing evolution from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and are asked to aspire for the Supramental consciousness. Instead of looking at the course of events as mechanical, we perceive it as unfolding of the divine plan. It's wrong to treat the current phase as ideal.

Traditional religious morality on the one hand, and the current politically correct positions on the other, have imposed certain uniform pop-psychology on women and their choices. Assuming a fixed template of female mentality in all circumstances, and at their all ages, is absurd

Savitri Era Religion worships The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine and doesn't harbour any mythology or historical antecedents. No one can be compared to them or be associated with their divine status. They are ever-present and shouldn't be seen as avatar or guru.

It has taken sixty years for me to be what I am today. The Mother passed away in 1973 and the direct disciples, one by one, thereafter. Today, no one is there to look up to. I founded Savitri Era Religion in 2006 for the safety of the devotees, so that they don't face harassment.

Savitri Era Religion is separate from those who consider The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as part of Hindu religion. Savitri Era Religion traces its justification to the dissenting judgement of Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy in the Auroville case. This minority religion seeks legal rights.

Birth and growth of a new religion is a long-drawn process. It germinated when The Mother & Sri Aurobindo met on March 29, 1914, in Puduchrry, to which I gave the name Savitri Era Religion in 2006. It's likely to replace all other religions as per the prediction of #SriAurobindo.

No biography of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo presents them conclusively as the one Supreme Divine. Their devotees are mostly silent and Hindutva agents are out aggressively to appropriate them. In the event it's necessary for Savitri Era Religion and Savitri Era Party to be strong.

It's not easy for anyone to read the books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo to understand them. They have been reticent about their own divinity and it has to be imbibed from the writings of their direct disciples. Savitri Era Religion helps in following them for seeking their grace

The logic of Enlightenment assures that people will be led in the rational route. The cycles of civilisation will by and large follow the same track, theorises Sri Aurobindo. But the trajectory is spiral and involves phases of irrationality. Hindutva is such a phase and we wait.

It's idle to believe that Sri Aurobindo didn't establish a new religion as he himself had identified The Mother as the Divine Mother, individual, universal, and transcendent. Savitri Era Religion is of those who don't worship any other god or guru than The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.
