Indian philosophy has hundreds of ancient texts in Sanskrit along with numerous commentaries on them often with conflicting viewpoints. They are certainly confusing for the modern mind. Reading the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, though difficult, is far more safe and sound.

By establishing an Ashram, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo lend themselves to Anthropological scrutiny. From Rishabhchand to Prasad sisters, numerous case studies can be of academic interest for understanding sociological dimensions of Yoga and self-abnegation.

Subscribing to an ideology or narrative that suits one's social and cultural background is common among people. The job of philosophy, however, is to jolt the mind out of the comfort zone. The writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, in this context, are magnificently significant.

Savitri Era Religion is for the whole world. Anyone who loves The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is eligible as a member. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine without any connection with old religions is the minimum condition. It's also, completely, free from mythology and rituals.

Are you conversant with the history of Odisha? How authentic are the popular narratives relating to Kharabela or Kalinga war, etc.?

Mobile phones have transformed personal lives as well as society. But people are not content with available Content. The ancient canons of aesthetics seem to have become outdated. But dissatisfaction is not due to the nature of Content. It's because of the downcast consciousness.

Savitri Era Religion may take this route.

I have read many books explaining the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo in The Life Divine, but how it is connected with his revelations in The Secret of the Veda is rarely touched. Similarly, his socio-political vision as expounded in The Human Cycle, etc. is described independently.

The Secret of the Veda by Sri Aurobindo informs that different terms and names have symbolic senses and hence it can be deduced that religious rituals are meaningless. This basically is the genesis of Savitri Era Religion with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine.

Most people are aware of Sri Aurobindo as a Freedom fighter and a spiritual guru but his accomplishments as a great poet or philosopher is rarely appreciated. His contributions to political theory as well as literary criticism too are immensely insightful.

The Mother and Sri Aurobindo met each other on March 29, 1914. They decided to start a monthly philosophical journal which came out on August 15, 1914. It was Sri Aurobindo's birth anniversary. It's not without significance that India achieved Independence on another anniversary. 

It seems that Rao Smriti will come out in the near future which will provide rigorous codification vis-à-vis Hinduism. This task was waiting for two thousand years and it's good that something worthwhile is being attempted by a learned person. Let's hope that it supercedes Manu's! 

Let's pray to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for inspiring the people of this nation to avoid Ayurveda, Astrology, and Mythology so that scientific spirit is inculcated. Similarly, valuing Democracy, Modernity, and Human Rights is also essential for citizens.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo made many predictions like descent of the Supramental consciousness, advent of a new race, or the possibility of physical Immortality but none of these is India-centric. They are surely Vedic in origin but have nothing to do with Hindutva, BJP, or Modi.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have written volumes after volumes on yoga and spirituality but Savitri Era Religion avoids promising anything definite on this score. It's for the devotee to test. Similarly, it doesn't insist on any of their social or political prediction coming true.

Savitri Era Party is inspired by the #FiveDreams of Sri Aurobindo broadcast on August 14, 1947. Current political situation is bad, and the only way for its rectification is to follow The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. No other political party has any clue as to how to lift the country.

Earlier, Sadhaks from Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry were invited by local Centres for meetings, seminars, or conferences. Now, there are well read scholars everywhere for explaining The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy. But connecting with common people remains a challenge.
