Savitri Era: The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were privy to various mystical streams savitriera.blogspot.com/2023/02/the-mo Tweets in original by Tusar Nath Mohapatra (b. 1956), Director, Savitri Era Learning Forum (2005), Founder, Savitri Era Religion (2006), and President, Savitri Era Party (2007).
Some are content with comparing Sri Aurobindo with people like Ram Swarup & Sita Ram Goel. RSS too takes pride in championing nationalism. For Sri Aurobindo however neither nationalism nor internationalism is the answer. His aim is human unity which is an outcome of inner bonding

The Samanwaya or the harmonising section is interesting but instead of the old and established religions, why new religions like following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can't be candidates for the future needs sympathetic consideration. Their evolutionary vision shouldn't be ignored.
Social and religious reforms were a dominant theme during Sri Aurobindo's time. Before coming to Puducherry, he wrote on diverse facets in the journals, Bande Mataram, Karmayogin, and Dharma (Bengali). The current debate on castes has to learn many things from his pronouncements.
Cooked up news and doctored history has been the bane of our lives. Selective amnesia based on political leanings generates jaundiced views. The academicians manufacture imaginary narratives justifying their preferred propositions. Intellectual dishonesty is the order of the day.

The basic configuration of human beings being finitude, the integral or the panoptic functioning is not available to them. Sri Aurobindo has foreseen the descent of the utopian Supramental consciousness as the solution.
Rock edicts are not rock-solid truth. Development is the basic function of any govt. Publicity can take you only so far. Obsession with that is self-delusion. The Constitution sets long-term goals. How much of it is achieved is the real test. Equality of status is still far away.
A comprehensive biography of Sri Aurobindo came out fifteen years ago with readers who would like to read about him without any spiritual or devotional connection in mind. The book was banned in India but many intellectuals harbour similar impressions of the great yogi and mystic.
Most religions are amalgam and Hindus comprise various sects who worship a number of gods and goddesses. Freedom struggle too has a large number of heroes and remembering them is like religious practice, now. Savitri Erans steer clear of this confusion and worship Sri Aurobindo.
Good that RSS and some Hindutva scholars are veering towards the ideological path followed by Savitri Era Party in many respects. But the central issue is following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine. Allowing no one else to be compared with them too is crucial.
Reminds of the PL 480 wheat porridge children used to have as midday meal in school.

The Mother's birth anniversary is in a few days; on the 21st to be precise. Indians in general are unaware about her and those who know don't revere her that much. The main reason being she is responsible for Sri Aurobindo straying away from the Hindu fold. That's harsh but true.
There is no gainsaying the fact that The Mother's running of the Ashram was almost autocratic. But that authority flowed from Sri Aurobindo's assent and disciples' consent. Savitri Era Religion revolves around the incredible story of her transition from a guest to Supreme Divine.
When Sri Aurobindo threw his weight behind crucial British initiatives, it was basically at The Mother's bidding. The four epochal political interventions were: > 1940: War Funds > 1942: Cripps Proposal > 1945: Wavell Plan > 1946: Cabinet Mission Proposals incarnateword.in/cwsa/36/on-the
