Following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo helps not only in staying away from past religions and their festivals but also from paying obeisance to the great men or falling prey to their ideologies. Inclusivity and plurality may be politically correct but not conducive to self-interest.
Books like The Life Divine by Sri Aurobindo are redundant now since movies on sundry files are going to enlighten the Indians. Visionary movie-makers have arrived:
"Forerunners of a divine multitude,"
"The sun-eyed children"
"wrestlers with destiny
"in the quarries of the Gods,"
I have been listening the songs written by them for the last sixty years but I don't know anything about the great Bollywood lyricists apart from Budaun or Ludhiana. At times, I read tweets extolling one over the others but it's tough comparing since all of them were so talented.
Savitri Era Party has the ideological clarity as enunciated by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. The Ashram's present status may be unenviable but it signals a new paradigm in the political domain. Auroville, similarly, is pregnant with fecund possibilities despite the current turmoil.
Security concerns render the rulers distant and inaccessible but that shouldn't be a pretext for acquiring an aura of a superman. Exhibitionism performed during the election canvassing should be buried after the voting day. Posing superiority or imposing whims need to be avoided.
The initial enthusiasm of many people wanes when they find I am not following their preferred ideological line. Not used to such independent thinking, they get frustrated. I am yet to come across some handle matching my concerns and aspirations. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo guide.
Growing up in a village in Odisha in the sixties had many advantages. No Muslim politics, no Dalit politics, no Mandal politics, no compulsion for religious rituals, festivals were food-centric, and no one told us not to take non-veg. Chicken however was not permitted in kitchens.
Instead of believing in the story of creation and evolution popularised by science, Indians need to internalise the cosmology of Sri Aurobindo as expounded in The Life Divine and The Secret of the Veda. Getting rid of the India-centric chauvinism is essential for an Integral view
The Supreme Court found that whether it was this govt or that, it hardly matters to the people and, hence, abstained from any disruption. Similarly, it's totally pointless who controls the bureaucracy since it never changes. Both the judgements, therefore, are, surely, welcome.
As a retired bank officer, I have seen how hundreds of crores of loans were written off, every year, and no one seems to be perturbed by this silent siphoning of money that goes on continuously. Secrecy and privacy ensured by modernity has scores of beneficiaries in our country.
The academic approach is to wrestle with the different opinion but the political instinct is to attack the person holding it. This is due to lack of philosophical orientation. The fact is that we are dealing with wares of finitude and the panoptic view is not available to anyone.
The contribution of Bollywood during the Pre-TV days in shaping the culture of the country is praiseworthy. The restraint and excellence it pursued can easily be perceived when compared to what is being dished out half-a-century later. The hand of IPTA, of course, is unmistakable.
I don't want Twitter to be an omnibus platform. It has been a companion since 2012 and should stay this way. Adding 20 more characters would be very helpful. More than that will spawn stupidity and frivolity. Quoting tweets should also be dispensed with for continuity of response.
Nationalist handles are forever concerned with Pakistan, China, and America. I'm yet to see any tweet by them on my native State, Odisha. Sandwiched between the north and the south, Odisha and its language and culture remain outside the national radar forever. CM can't speak Odia.
Reject AAP, BJP, Congress and other dynastic parties. Savitri Era Party, following the ideals of Sri Aurobindo, is the right choice for the future. The youth of India must reassess the political reality and come out of the influence of the dominant parties. Drastic change needed.

CP is right about Sri Aurobindo since the latter doesn't support the current form of rituals-based Hinduism. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine in the Savitri Era Religion and not any other gods or goddesses.
Defeat was needed to startle the cadre that you could lose 2024 if you continue to fight among themselves. So, stress on all other things like Hindutva should be put on the back burner. Only Modi cult will save.
Do you favour a two-party system?
Yes. The plight of AAP in Gujarat is an indicator of how difficult it is for a new political force to grow.
Such a bad show after Punjab victory was astonishing. All said and done, he has some appeal across the country.
Calling it a Congress victory doesn't reveal the whole truth. The country is definitely looking for a viable alternative and the Third-Front patchwork is no match. Citizens must come forward to build a new party on the model of Savitri Era Party under The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.
Defeating AAP, BJP, and the Congress is important for a secure future of the country. All those who are voting for regional parties are unable to unite and hence have no voice at the Centre. A new national party will fill that vacuum and represent the majority of the population.
Nothing more paradoxical than many top intellectuals praising the Congress and its Dynasty as savior of democracy. Modi and Hindutva are bad but the kind of docility Congress breeds is worse. Savitri Era Party however is against both Congress and the BJP at the ideological level.
I am reading paeans for Annamalai and Siddaramaiah conforming to the great man syndrome. Democracy is about the wishes of the people ruling the country through the representatives and not the great leader ruling over the people. Conceiving such a scenario shouldn't be that hard.
Modi looked invincible till yesterday but 2024 can throw other possibilities now. No chance of Congress replicating this win elsewhere but can be a nuisance always. Odisha and West Bengal too need change. The people of India need to ponder over such prospects and act accordingly.
Many are rejoicing over the Karnataka results but my tweets prove that I'm not but am happy as Modi has been taught a lesson. Given the complex demographics, this election has been tightly contested and seems to be quite democratic and matured a poor show by JD(S) notwithstanding.
Twitter should rename itself as parrot for no independent voice is to be found here. Technology and education has generated such slavishness that even bonded-laborers would be ashamed of it. Mythology and religion on the one hand and monarchical model on the other are responsible.
The Sovereignty issue should attract more attention now as the National narrative is falling apart. The Central govt is perpetrating huge injustices on the States and it's time to remedy this situation. Parliament should discuss this issue and set modalities for granting autonomy
It would be fair if it can be ascertained what harm was done to the country or the people by which film. Simply speaking against the ideology without assessing its utility in its context lacks critical spirit. Taking help from different countries in different spheres was common.

That's quite common even in the corporate culture of today. In politics, it's more evident. But taking exception to the Russian collaboration with Bollywood seems to be unjust. As children, we used to read Soviet Land in Odia which were distributed almost free. Influence was wide.
Now that Modi winning 2024 looks slim, two action points for being etched in history:
1) Sovereignty to the States and
2) Inclusion of Sri Aurobindo's books in University syllabus.
Federation of India can be the nucleus of the future World Union as dreamt by Sri Aurobindo in 1947.

Excellently put. In fact, for any govt, the needy deserve extra-care without any discrimination on other considerations; the first claim on resources. The ethical dimension that you point out derives from the governmental obligation.
With over 300 seats in 14 major States being under the Opposition, Modi is really vulnerable now, in 2024. Further, if the opposition unites in U.P., then the situation will be worse. Right now, only 7 major States are under the ruling alliance. Political realignment is required.
It's an open secret that people have rode to victory on the strength of Minority votes. When their votes get divided, others capture power. This is the demographic reality of India and those seeking to overlook it are deluded. Even the Bahujan of Mayawati is crippled without them.

Odia is the best for being nurtured as a common language in the present circumstances. Apart from Sanskrit, it's the only classical language beyond the South with an unmatched elegant script. ତୁଷାରନାଥ ମହାପାତ୍ର

Reflecting on life situations midway, at least, without covering a major part, can be warped for the results are a little bit away. Life is nothing but earning memories which get erased partially on a continuous basis.

Sri Aurobindo's answers are the best when it comes to civilizational questions. The Human Cycle by him deals with various phases of social evolution and future projection. Besides, he grapples with conflict in detail in his Savitri and The Life Divine.
Rating Narendra Modi is easy but for that one has to listen his party supporters. He is crticised for not doing enough for Hindutva and that is his achievement no. one. Appeasing Muslims is another achievement. Not changing text books is the third. So, his performance is secular.
Under Mohan Bhagwat, RSS has revised many of its earlier stands to look modern. BJP under Modi too has tried its best to stick to the Constitutional path. But their detractors chose not to recognise these aspects. Such visceral hatred is not fair. Dynasty supporters should think.
Democracy entails people electing their ruler but the Constitution of India doesn't have provision for this leading to all sorts of corruption and negation of the people's will many a time. Sovereignty to the States with the Presidential system can rectify this serious infirmity.
Not many political parties are conscious of the relevance of their actions determining the structure of the future society apart from just capturing power. Savitri Era Party invokes the Vedic evolutionary vision of Sri Aurobindo and fruition of his #FiveDreams of August 14, 1947.
Analysing the period from 1872 to 1973 during which Sri Aurobindo and/or The Mother were present gives a very confused picture. Extending that till today doesn't offer any clarity either. India refusing to fight for intellectual parity with the West is the most disappointing act.
ChatGPT, inter alia, was asked
1) How is Ken Wilber influenced by Sri Aurobindo?
2) Has Ken Wilber criticized Sri Aurobindo?
The answers, surprisingly, seem to be quite precise. Link below:
In the absence of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, the book Savitri fills the vacuum and occupies the central place for the devotees. All know the story and it's a long poem on the theme but is much more. That death can be conquered one day is the basic message of Savitri Era Religion.
Vivekananda, Tagore, M.N.Roy, and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya fall under the Humanist strand while Lala Lajpat Rai, Bipin Chandra Pal, Bal Gangadhar Tilak (Lal-Bal-Pal), Dayananda Saraswati, Sri Aurobindo, Veer Savarkar, and Iqbal are categorised under the Idealist or Nationalist strand.
Savitri by Sri Aurobindo has been aptly compared with The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri and Paradise Lost by John Milton. Considered incomplete, Savitri may lack the technical perfection of others but surely exceeds them by philosophical profundity and futuristic significance.

A new person should be given the chance. Similarly, Modi should vacate after two terms.

Is Sri Aurobindo mentioned? His The Lfe Divine surely breaks fresh ground.
It is a fault of the Constitution of India for not instituting clear modalities for installing the CM/PM as per the people's mandate.
So, let the house elect its leader.
