Reading The Mother & Sri Aurobindo’s books is a branch of higher education which supplements other fields of study. It also provides interdisciplinary perspectives for inculcating an integral approach to problem solving and designing harmonious environment incarnateword.in

Sri Aurobindo shouldn't be compared to his contemporaries nor the present day gurus. Studying his philosophy or poetry in comparison to the Western thinkers and poets can be rewarding but as regards the evolutionary relevance of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, there is no precedence.

Sri Aurobindo Ashram-Delhi Branch is holding an immersion in classical music and devotional songs (March 20-25) to mark the 95th birth anniversary celebrations of Karuna didi (Devi Karunamayee). She was an exponent in Hindustani Classical Music and known for her devotional songs.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, who are always present in their three poises, is the founding principle of Savitri Era Religion, established in 2006. Savitri Era Party (2007) requests the Govt. to return Auroville and Matrimandir to the devotees.

The recent Supreme Court judgement apropos Auroville is a superficial one. Matrimandir being the sanctum sanctorum for the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo needs to be returned back to them. Ownership and administration of #Auroville therefore should be handed over to them.

Evolution, like gravitation, is very much a physical process. Humanity was oblivious about it till Darwin and others proved it scientifically. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo explained its spiritual significance, and showed the path of yoga how to hasten it. All must pursue this task.

Marxist outlook has taken the study in Humanities to new heights, but the challenge is to break new ground by incorporating what The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have contributed. Universities have an epochal role to play towards it. The Secret of the Veda can be a good place to start.

Surrendering to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, and seeking their grace, is essential for transformation of human nature and rising to the next level of higher consciousness. Accepting them as the one Supreme Divine without any connection with the old religions is also indispensable.

Immortality is not an impossibility. The Veda proclaims it and The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have explained how it is a logical culmination of the evolutionary progression of consciousness from matter to life and mind onwards. So surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is necessary.

For most people, knowledge about The Life Divine is limited to the General Awareness quiz, Which is the most famous book of Sri Aurobindo? The book, certainly, is not everyone's cup of tea, but educated people can benefit immensely if they try reading it or cover even some parts.

Savitri Era Religion is most suitable for the modern generation. No mythology and no rituals but based on a very convincing philosophy and prophecy. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is fundamental with all the freedom to interrogate them critically. 

Peter Heehs has written the most informative book on The Mother. It's, primarily, meant for the general readers, since most people in India are not aware of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Nevertheless, it should also find a place in the home of every devotee.

Savitri Era Religion neither encourages nor appoves anyone posing as guru or guide. No one can teach the method of Integral yoga since there is none. As regards knowledge anyone can acquire it from the books. Devotees shouldn't be unduly impressed by physical appearance or dress.

Some discussion is going on the Veda and it's instructive to remember that the traditional understanding of the text is as erroneous as the Western interpretations. Sri Aurobindo's commentary and translations should be relied upon along with Kapali Sastry, VM Reddy, & RL Kashyap.

Instead of gaining spiritual powers or mystical experiences, transformation of human nature is the priority in Savitri Era Religion. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, and seeking their grace by surrendering to them, form the basic necessity for it.

Teachings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo pertain to the whole mankind. They also talk about human unity and world peace. Divisions obtaining on the basis of languages or nationality are transitional. Descent of Supramental consciousness will transform the human situation radically. 

Sri Aurobindo started writing in public in 1893. The political situation troubled him but his radical views had to be toned down at editor's hint. However, his line of thinking led to the split of Congress in 1907. He demanded complete Independence of India from the British rule.

Sri Aurobindo's The Doctrine of Passive Resistance was published in 1907 which had set the mode of Freedom struggle in the future years. A nation's right to liberty and creativity was the basis of his argument against the British rule. He was reiterating the British philosophers.

Although Independence of India was his prime concern, Sri Aurobindo was, simultaneously, thinking about the nature of an ideal society and harmony among nations. Of the three core principles of the French Revolution, he focused on Fraternity based on the intrinsic unity of souls.

Sri Aurobindo's writings, after his retirement from active politics, belong to a different wavelength altogether. On finding serious contractions in the traditional interpretation of the Isha Upanishad, he started writing his own thoughts which took the shape as, The Life Divine.

Integrating the scientific theory of evolution with the Vedic idea of the ladder of consciousness is the most volcanic contribution of Sri Aurobindo to the world of thought. Not only a philosophy, it's also a prophecy. Descent of Supramental consciousness will transform humanity.

The Mother and Sri Aurobindo met each other for the first time on March 29, 1914 in Puducherry. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine and seeking their grace for accelerating the process of evolution forms the core of Integral yoga. Savitri Era Religion invites all for this.

After launching Savitri Era Learning Forum (2005), Savitri Era Religion (2006), and Savitri Era Party (2007), I had the ringside view of the Book controversy which raged from 2008 to 2011. Many frontline devotees were involved and religion was a pejorative. I wanted to reverse it. 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have warned against their yoga turning into a religion. This fact was used to the hilt to deny divinity to them. Leftists and the rationalists were in the forefront which also suited to the interests of Western favourites like Christianity and Buddhism.

Indian devotees weren't against religion, per se, but the influence of Hindutva was working overtime. Political climate too introduced a muscular element into nationalism. So, keeping Sri Aurobindo firmly within the ambit of Hinduism and India became a well established framework.

Supreme Court had decided against Sri Aurobindo's yoga being a separate religion in the Auroville case in 1983, but the dissenting judgement of Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy had laid down clear principles for it. I had launched Savitri Era Religion in 2006 accordingly. Twenty years!

Govt snatching away Auroville in 1980 was a body blow. The then prevailing situation might have warranted it but there's no reason why it shouldn't be returned to the rightful owner after a lapse of 45 years. The latest Supreme Court verdict fails to address this basic injustice.

What happened in Ayodhya recently is like Auroville in miniature. Sri Aurobindo's Relics Centre was clandestinely acquired by the adjacent Ram Temple campus. This place has a long history with connection to the devotees in Odisha. I'm not aware of the controversy's current status. 

Devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are generally peace loving and seek harmony. The Mother had prohibited politics in the Ashram and hence devotees are averse to it. Further, yoga is personal and so being united on issues is needless. I had launched Savitri Era Party in 2007.

Savitri Era Party demands:

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo avoided accepting disciples on a mass scale, but their devotees have multiplied manifold. In the absence of any dominant visible model, local Centres teach in their own way. But Hindutva forces are trying to capture them and using devotees as vote bank.

In his new book on The Mother, Peter Heehs gives an account of her meeting with Sri Aurobindo on March 29, 1914 (p97). Apart from their own diary notings, her conversations with disciples at different points of time indicate how she at once recognised Sri Aurobindo as the Divine.

After their meeting in Puducherry on March 29, 1914, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo sarted a monthly philosophical magazine called Arya, in August 1914. Significantly, the World War I broke out at the same time. Historians are yet to fathom the occult dimensions of these two events.

Matrimandir was built by the devotees of The Mother as per her vision and plan. Unfortunately, it's in the Govt hands at present. Savitri Era Party (2007) demands for recognising Savitri Era Religion (2006) as a separate religion and return ownership of Auroville to the devotees.

Yoga of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is not dependent upon material objects. Therefore, there should be no objection if the Ayodhya centre is relocated for the sake of a larger adjacent project. However, devotees have a right to defend their property. But good sense should prevail.

Being hostages to the hormones, human beings have very little freedom for emancipatory exercises like yoga. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, therefore, opens up immense possibilities through their grace. It amounts to collaboration with evolution.

No book of The Mother or Sri Aurobindo can explain their philosophy in its totality. Similarly no book on them has been able to give a complete picture of their contribution and influence. There's reluctance to document their legacy and potentiality. Surely a herculean negligence. 

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo didn't create any new religion. They weren't interested in publicity nor in attracting a large number of followers. They advised their disciples to practice yoga, but a free-for-all state developed after their departure. I launched Savitri Era Religion.

Intellectual atmosphere, in India, was terribly dependent on the West during the last century. This century has seen a lot of hubris without a sound reservoir of theory. The writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, in this context, carry immense value for education and aesthetics.

Example of other countries don't matter much. Despite the British influence, India is unable to come out of medieval atmosphere. Mythology, rituals, and superstitions rule the roost. Savitri Era Party drawing inspiration from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo seeks to support modernity.

More and more videos are revealing how the old Hindi songs stole foreign tunes. It feels bad, but the whole process of depictng movie scenes and the lyrics involved a lot of creativity. Bollywood has proved to be a successful secular mythology in our lives. 

The lives of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were extraordinary by any standard. Approaching them with devotion, without any critical yardstick, is the best way to benefit from their infinite love and compassion. Savitri Era Religion is the most convenient way for shedding hesitation.

Sri Aurobindo's theoretical formulations have ably been analysed vis-à-vis that of Western thinkers but current level of intellectual standard in India lacks competence to take advantage of it. The time hasn't come it seems and Savitri Era Religion is the best bet in the meantime. 

While Hindutva finds some value in Sri Aurobindo, albeit absolutely truncated, The Mother is, practically, of no use to it. The fact that devotees, in such large numbers, worship her as the Supreme Divine and periodically visit Puducherry to offer respects, is a pain in the neck.

Madhusudan Mishra's contribution towards expanding and vivifying Sri Aurobindo Study Circle network in Odisha is immense. He undertook extensive tours throughout the State to motivate devotees in far flung areas. Also created a solid Zone-wise organisational base which continues.

Odisha has the largest number of devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and a State level Conference is held every year at Matrubhaban, Cuttack from April 4 to 7. Speakers and devotees from other States also attend for inspiration. Sri Aurobindo Srikshetra, Dalijoda is nearby too. 

The Mother’s birthday is on 21st and Sri Aurobindo has drawn many pen-portraits of her in Savitri. Victory over death has profound significance pertaining to this Vedic prophecy. It's also the culmination and consummation of the scientific inquiry apropos evolution and longevity.

All religions rely on irrational reverence and Savitri Era Religion is no different. All those who have come in contact with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are blessed. They have been endowed with the capability of or responsibility for carrying forward the evolution of consciousness. 

It's a bust and not a statue. Please address him as Sri Aurobindo শ্রীঅরবিন্দ which is his correct name.

Sri Aurobindo didn't write in Bengali and hence he is not regarded as one. His migrating to Puducherry and association with The Mother further alienates him. His banishment from text books and cultural scene worsens the matter. Besides, he wasn't awarded Nobel prize. So, no hero!

Satprem's books reveal diverse dimensions of The Mother and the urgency and inevitability of the yoga of the cells that she practiced. It's too complex for common perception, and seems to be of no relevance when people are so obsessed with things like nationalism or reservations.

Savitri Era Religion ensues from the futuristic vision of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo who are the one Supreme Divine and lead the march of evolution. Surrender to them is essential for aspiration for the descent of the Supramental consciousness. Anyone can join sans any formality.

Along with Sri Aurobindo's The Mother's writings constitute a vast treasure.

New Age and spiritual writings have mushroomed in the web but reading the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo provides authentic guidance. Further, worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine without the burden of any mythology or rituals amounts to embracing Savitri Era Religion.

Current century has brought enormous prosperity due to which modern outlook has spread among young generation. However many feel suffocated by the tradition. So no better alternative than worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine under Savitri Era Religion.

Just because of the Ashram, they shouldn't be compared to other gurus or seers. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises. So it's also wrong to call them as avatar or incarnations. Worshipping them is Savitri Era Religion.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were successful in spreading the impression that they aren't creating any new religion while devotees and disciples were multiplying around their divinity. The veneer of spirituality and yoga needed to be shed and I started Savitri Era Religion in 2006.

After 77 years of Independence, India hasn't been able to produce a good democracy or economy. The country cannot be proud of excellence in any field. In such a depressing scenario, the philosophy and yoga of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is a beacon of hope for the whole humanity.

Vague respect for Sri Aurobindo is not enough. There must be wider awareness of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine. They are in charge of leading the evolution and descent of Supramental consciousness. Ultimate goal is physical Immortality or victory over death.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine with love, devotion, surrender, and loyalty is of paramount importance. This is the common faith that binds all the devotees. Savitri Era Religion is meant for expressing this unity for assuring the next generation.

The Mother was born on February 21, 1878, in France, who came to India to meet Sri Aurobindo on March 29, 1914. Ashram in Puducherry was set up on November 24, 1926 as their disciples grew in number. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine is the basis of Savitri Era Religion.

Even while it's apparent that our individual existence is never in isolation, the concept of yoga, paradoxically, is predominantly personal. Building a relationship with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is an, entirely, solitary project. There's no holiday, as MP Pandit had counselled.

If one has no hesitation to regard The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, then he or she is squarely in the middle of a new religion. Those who prefer to take the yoga route, to avoid this extreme position, are free to do so, till they muster sufficient conviction.

I have been active online for the last twenty years and normally I have avoided quoting from the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. For me, they are immensely sacred having mantric powers which I shouldn't scatter here and there. Paraphrasing or providing links would be better.

New handles are being marshalled to spread disinformation on The Mother & Sri Aurobindo or to vilify them. This is the sure sign that Savitri Era Religion has started pinching where it hurts most. This, of course, is inevitable and devotees should prepare themselves to weather it. 

Reading the books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo on a regular basis is important from the point of view of yoga. The very act of reading in a devotional state of mind requires some amount of effort, implying collaboration with evolution, apart from intellectual or aesthetic gains.

A book-seller from Faridabad was short of funds and offered half of his Stall space in the World Book Fair to Dr. Gyanchandra, in 1996. And thus started my decade-long association with Pragati Maidan. It was a rich experience of suggesting Sri Aurobindo's philosophy to strangers.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo talked about accelerating the process of evolution regarding which neither science nor any religion has any clue. They also worked for reconfiguration of body cells by pressing the consciousness into service. Thus, it's physics, biology, and psychology.

I have indicated from time to time our opposition to Hindutva and Modi but at the same time have expressed support to the govt as it has performed reasonably on the democracy as well as the development front. Therefore I was happy to read CPM's assessment to the chagrin of allies. 

At seventy, Bollywood songs equip me with a treasure of secular mythology since the music is never alone. Memories of watching the movie, the story, the charisma of the stars, their real life romance and break up, etc provide a rich narrative. Then of course the political slants.

The writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo cover varieties of topics but using them for strict theoretical positions is fraught with hazard. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine is the preliminary step. Other benefits should ensue from that orientation of love and devotion.

Wellbeing or success can't be the whole object of turning to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. It's rather the other way round. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine or surrendering to them can usher in many possibilities or potentialities. That's the secret of being an instrument. 

If The Satanic Verses is in the bookstore, let's hope that The Lives of Sri Aurobindo by Peter Heehs too is sold in India. The book was banned in 2008 due to the activism of some misguided devotees. Savitri Era Party, however, has been demanding lifting the ban from time to time.

Politics in India refuses to be disentangled from the pre-Independence scenario because people are still searching for icons from those days. Unfortunately, no one is interested in Sri Aurobindo as his philosophy doesn't support any sectarian stand. Savitri Era Party has patience. 

Indian and Buddhist philosophies are taught in many Western Universities but they are not bothered about what Sri Aurobindo has written. Ken Wilber's books provide some orientation on Sri Aurobindo, in whatever imperfect way. CIIS, sadly, is no longer interested in Sri Aurobindo.

Appreciating Sri Aurobindo properly takes at least a decade. All educated men have multiple heroes but one may drop them one by one till #SriAurobindo reigns alone. This happens on sheer merit. Not esotericism, mysticism, or spirituality, his socio-political ideas have that fire.

What would you recommend? Through reading their books or by meditation and intense devotion? How can someone new experience that sort of confidence and equanimity?

Your appreciation seems to be deep and meticulous. Not many are endowed with such scholarly scrupulousness.

Savitri Era Religion emphasises the supremacy of Sri Aurobindo's philosophy as a solution for present problems of humanity. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the most potent means of collaborating with the evolutionary forces towards Supramental.

Now, it's normal to find third or fourth generation of devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Obviously, intellectual appreciation as well as critical evaluation is on the rise since people are exposed to diverse streams of spirituality. Savitri Era Religion is keen on devotion.

What The Mother & Sri Aurobindo pointed out as vital or hostile forces are, in fact, part of our own biology and psychology. Overcoming them is not easy since we are wired that way. Savitri Era Religion is a path to escape that iron law. Surrender lets higher consciousness to act. 

Collective activities and celebration of special days have their own utility and relevance, but yoga is, intensely, personal. The concept of collective yoga is to accept others as oneself because of the intrinsic unity of all beings. That's, certainly, only at the abstract level.

After thirteen years on this platform, I still find that Hindutva intellectuals continue to misrepresent Sri Aurobindo. No one tries to read even a page from his vast literature, but they take pleasure in commenting on him with great authority. Pitiable state of public discourse!

The dual challenge of understanding The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy and appreciating it in comparison to other thinkers on the one hand and worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine and surrendering to them with love, devotion, and loyalty on the other is an enormous one. 

It's normal for people to be influenced by political leaderships but the irrational exuberance of some in equating the current regime to an indication of the Supramental consciousness predicted by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is bordering on the absurd. But then, each to their own.

Genesis of Savitri Era Religion can be traced to the meeting of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, at Puducherry, on March 29, 1914. This year, it will be the 111th anniversary of this great occasion. Though not a Darshan Day, it's no less in significance. All must prepare to celebrate.

Savitri Era Religion is a threat to other religions as more and more educated people are coming under the influence of the modern and rational philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Savitri as a poem of incredible beauty and inspiration is drawing attention all over the world.

Savitri Era Religion avoids false promises for attaining supernatural powers through meditation. It also discourages any sort of ritual or fixed method of practice. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the basic necessity which is a matter of faith.

Savitri Era Religion recommends reading Sri Aurobindo's writings in a slow and steady manner without treating any particular book as containing his whole philosophy. Similarly, assuming brief quotations to be his opinion on the subject is also erroneous. His letters were personal. 

Savitri Era Religion is based on a messianic philosophy akin to some science fiction. Thus, it is beyond any rational scrutiny. But, Sri Aurobindo's arguments are logical and coherent. Anyone reading with an open mind can be convinced. The yoga aspect is an additional attraction.

Scientific and philosophical debates were stirring intellectual world a century back but now it seems to be barren. Politics too appears to have abdicated its emancipatory dreams. Everything is quotidian. Sri Aurobindo's Savitri has the real charm when mental gymnastics evaporate. 

Savitri Era Religion is averse to draw utilitarian inferences from Sri Aurobindo's writings since they are broad strokes and futuristic in nature. He hinted at different possibilities, and insisted that evolution is not linear. So, expecting a logical course of events is in vain.

In the Prologue of The Mother Peter Heehs explains his style of writing the biography. He claims to have avoided the conventional way of justifying the final outcome. He adopts the historical approach of recounting the day-to-day details. It may be good documentation but inchoate. 

Search for the meaning of life, love, and conflict is going on since the beginning of the human civilisation but no definite solution has been discovered. The teachings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo provide a dependable framework for pursuing this search without getting derailed.

It's easy to notice amalgamation of different cultures and religions in the commentaries of Sri Aurobindo. He sought to show the essential human urge for beauty and perfection as universal. The Mother too embodied this aspiration. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine is key. 

Not simply materialistic redesigning of work situations but imbuing it with surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is the real skill in works. Remember and offer is the linchpin of All life is yoga. Reading a few lines from Savitri implies invocation of the urge for Immortality.

54th All Odisha Sri Aurobindo Study Circle Conference will be held at Matrubhaban, Cuttack from April 4 to 7. History of this important event has numerous tales of The Mother's grace to tell but unfortunately there is no attempt to document them although old devotees are passing.

The Ashram is a contradiction when seen in the context of the life-embracing philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. It had some relevance during their physical presence but such a model of commune living has no sanction under Indian Constitution as administration is coercive.

Savitri Era Religion is based on a sound philosophy. The more people read The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's books, the more will they be attracted towards their divinity and spirituality. Reciting Savitri, regularly, is also a means of discovering their infinite love and compassion.

Reluctance to accept The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is very much apparent on this platform and hence Savitri Era Religion has great relevance. Devotees must unite under Savitri Era Party's banner, so that incidents like Auroville or Ayodhya are not repeated.

Savitri implies rebellion against death and The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were continuously working in this direction. They are the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises. Savitri Era Religion is trying to popularise this new movement of surrendering to them.

Remember having watched a movie where Shah Rukh Khan appears in a different costume and style outside from how he appears at home in order to placate his wife. But such practices by the devotees may not amuse The Mother. Faith, sincerity and surrender are indispensable qualities.

Scholars and journalists suffer from problem of plenty. They are always on the lookout for how to write on fresh subjects; dig out untrodden topics. Well that's a professional hazard. Students of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo otoh need to concentrate more and more on their writings.

There was some dispute about administration of Auroville and Govt. of India took it over which was ratified later by the Supreme Court. However, problems persist even after four decades. Savitri Era Party has been demanding returning of Auroville and Matrimandir to the devotees.

Devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo aspire for peace and harmony and hence try to avoid situations inducing any conflict. Savitri Era Religion, however, has been insisting on a separate legal identity for it, so that the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo is thrown into sharp relief.

Macaulay's Minute dated February 2, 1835 has a significant contribution towards shaping modern India, which continues even after 190 years. However, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo look at education from a much deeper standpoint which all psychological researches are trying to fathom.

The Secret of the Veda by Sri Aurobindo shows how rituals imposed upon it are unnecessary and contradictory. Savitri Era Religion is the most modern and rational religion, without the tyranny of any rituals or fixed method of practice. Devotees are free to adopt their own system.

The Asiatic Society was founded 241 years ago on January 15, 1784. Its role in East-West integration is unsurpassed. In Sri Aurobindo's writings, one can easily notice such an emphasis. Savitri Era Party too stresses on the ideal of human unity and harmony as per the #FiveDreams.

Earlier, there was no concept of equality as the society operated under the rubric of various taxonomies. The Constitution of India gifted equality of status to all citizens in 1950 but many find it difficult to accept it. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo teach human unity and harmony.

Double engine sarkar may be an attractive slogan in politics but when it comes to religion No one can serve two masters holds. Hindutva adherents, therefore, should be faithful to their first love and leave the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo alone. Academic interest okay.

Since they worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, the devotees of Savitri Era Religion don't consider any other person to be comparable to them. Those who are reluctant to accept their Divine manifestation, however, can continue necessary academic scrutiny.

All political parties are afflicted by Dynasty or Personality cult and hence Savitri Era Party seeks to restore democratic functioning and transparency. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are symbols of ethics and dedication and following their footsteps is the task of the new generation. 

Change is essential in a democracy and it's good that a deception and falsehood that was running bearing Sri Aurobindo's name has been defeated conclusively. Savitri Era Party has no presence on the ground, but so far as ideology is concerned, no other party can compete with it.

Politics, these days, has been reduced to offering free goods and services to the people. In such a circumstance, the promise of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo about Supramental consciousness and a New race seems too far fetched. Still, that's the long term solution for human misery.

Intellectuals, in India, don't have much modern resources to fall back on for theory, and hence tend to dig into the ancient past. Works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, in this context, are a treasure house on a variety of subjects. University education, unfortunately, ignores it.

It's wrong to expect that the template of old religions will hold good for ever. Savitri Era Religion, owing allegiance to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, seeks to transcend the traditional tactics of exploiting human emotions. Urge for transformation and evolution should be the rule. 

Exclusive concentration is the cornerstone of Sri Aurobindo's philosophy which also explains why we become different persons at different ages. Application of yoga therefore must vary with time and experience. Enthusiasm may wane but conviction and resoluteness should crystallise. 

Some are suggesting the picture of Sri Aurobindo to adorn currency notes but considering the fact that The Mother and he are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine by the devotees of Savitri Era Religion, it wouldn't be appropriate. Religious and secular matters should be separate.

The Mother’s birthday is on 21st, and Centres and Study Circles are busy preparing for the celebrations. Schools will put up special shows and devotees plan family functions coinciding with the auspicious occasion. Visiting Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville ia a ritual for many.

The whole social environment or education system does not encourage any engagement with the Veda. Sri Aurobindo has revealed its secret and the message is simple. It's a path of self-discovery and being aware of different layers of consciousness. Savitri Era Religion facilitates.

Not getting freed from the clutch of old religions is a personal weakness which needs to be negotiated as part of sadhana. Bases of Yoga published in 1936 amply clarifies the need of faith, aspiration, and surrender. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine for this.

Reading this analysis can make one aware of the difficulties of delving into the past. Savitri Era Religion steers clear of such complications by worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises.

Everything is finite and nothing is eternal or sanatana, yet many choose to delude themselves as regards their religion. But then, it's futile to expect logic in a domain which is primarily irrational. Savitri Era Religion has blind faith in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's divinity.

Auroville Foundation has a Governing Board and there should be official communication for public consumption instead of individual members blurting out half-baked views. Further, many aspects are sub judice and hence responsible conduct is warranted as Govt is a silent spectator.

Babaji Ramakrishna Das and Prapatti were instrumental in creating a Statewide network of Sri Aurobindo Study Circles in Odisha due to which I had come under the influence of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. My aversion towards tradition received the right answers from their teachings.

Yoga and sadhana are integral to the philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo but they are not far removed from politics. Savitri Era Party is encouraging people not to fall prey to AAP, BJP, or Congress. Following the right ideology is essential for collaboration with evolution.

Videos and podcasts on The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are being uploaded on a daily basis but I don't find time to watch them. My preference remains to reading, may be, due to reasons of aesthetics. This is a fine soul-searching but the solutions are elsewhere

It is not difficult to write an article or a book on Sri Aurobindo by citing various quotations from his varied writings. Even then, it is not easy to present an integral picture. Savitri Era Religion focuses on the fact that The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine.

Reading the books of Sri Aurobindo over considerable length of time has no meaning unless one is willing to worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine. Surrender to The Mother is the fulcrum of Integral yoga and conjunction of call and grace is essential for it.

The Mother was born on February 21, 1878 and met Sri Aurobindo on March 29, 1914. The Ashram came into being on November 24, 1926 since when they are being worshipped as the one Supreme Divine who are always present. Their work for a sublime future of the mankind is most relevant. 

Admirers of Sri Aurobindo, both from the Leftist and Hindutva faction, resist to acknowledge his divinity. Some of them are authors of books on him and people look upon their views as authentic. Savitri Era Religion strives to rectify this anomaly by openly expressing allegiance.

Castes are a perpetual topic of debate but Sri Aurobindo's explanations of them have not percolated much. Varna divisions, significantly, are linked to the Vedic Suns and four powers of The Mother. Without such inner truth, superficial support for equality or uniformity is flawed. 

The name of Sri Aurobindo is wrong both in English and Hindi. Proper nouns shouldn't be deformed.

Twentieth century philosophy is a melting pot and, thankfully, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo provide a firm footing. Savitri Era Religion worships them as the one Supreme Divine so that the evolutionary forces are accelerated towards speedy descent of the Supramental consciousness.

Reading something from the writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo on a regular basis is necessary for devotees belonging to Savitri Era Religion. Apart from imbibing knowledge in a slow and steady manner, it serves as an act of collaboration with Earth's aspiration for evolution.

Nurture or civilisation was a camouflage of nature in many respects, but modernity heightened the pretension throwing into disorder various layers of social relations. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo advocate human unity based on intrinsic fraternity and #WorldUnion is a primary step.

Modern world has built numerous institutions to manage the affairs of society and bring about reforms. Yet problems keep on mounting. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, however, stress that the real transformation is possible only through descent of Supramental consciousness upon earth.

Knowledge and experience accumulated all through the life get frittered away in the old age. Many tend to be disenchanted with what they valued earlier. Orientation in the teachings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo trains to acquire right yardsticks for choosing enduring frameworks.

Various narrative wars are underway in India and Savitri Era Religion is the best alternative in the present circumstances. Since politics and commerce are exploiting people's emotions as well as their thinking capacity, there are no better guides than The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

Purchased a copy of Savitri and a few other books from Kolkata Book Fair today. An impressive stall and an admirable display of books. But the problem is the book covers. Using the cover for proper marketing is important. Attractive design with prominent titles can go a long way.

Let this year be declared as the year of The Mother, since her two biographies by foreign authors are being published next month. While Savitri Era Religion worships The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, there are many other facets of her which people should know.

Savitri Era Religion is free from mythology and rituals. It doesn't recommend any fixed method of practice. Believing in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the minimum requirement. Keeping their photographs and a few books at home facilitates right vibration.

Reading and understanding the vast amount of writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is a difficult task. Video discourses also are too complex or misleading. Savitri Era Party seeks to be an ideal alternative to AAP, BJP, and Congress. We need a Constitution without Reservations.

In addition to appreciating the grand system of Sri Aurobindo's philosophy, expressing personal experiences of receiving The Mother's grace and reliance on her divine force is normal for devotees of Savitri Era Religion. Protecting oneself from extraneous influences is also necessary.

Without The Mother, the greatness of Sri Aurobindo wouldn't have been recognised by the people. She was instrumental in launching the Arya magazine in which his great philosophical works were published. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine who are always present.

Different sections recommend different solutions to various problems of the country. Savitri Era Party advocates that following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is the only means for all round transformation. Savitri Era Religion also persuades to worship them as the one Supreme Divine. 

It's on an assembled AMD desktop that I had launched Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF) in 2005 for which Sify had provided Internet facility. The intervening twenty years have been full of learning and longing. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo guide my path for spreading their message.

Without any central authority or towering ideologue, Hindutva is getting watered down. The temple movement resulted in a tragedy, and now, it's degenerating into a farce. So, it's not unlikely that it collapses under its own weight and The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are proved right.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo provide a new outlook towards life and the world. They offer a new philosophy and aesthetic avenue. It's for the people to derive their benefits. Information is so readily available now. But many are enamored of the traditional systems and ancient texts. 

Many people cast aspersions on The Mother for being a Jew and Sri Aurobindo is accused of propagating various Western mystic traditions. However, the truth is very much in the open and anybody can examine it. Instead of genealogy, Savitri should be taken as the point of departure. 

Instead of other icons, following Sri Aurobindo is the best option in the current circumstances of India. Savitri Era Party and Savitri Era Religion foreground an alternative narrative based on a robust metaphysical framework and Vedic evolutionary vision. incarnateword.in/cwsa

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo don't recommend any particular psycho-physical practices. Aspiration for higher consciousness is the most important element and other things are secondary. Surrender to them as the one Supreme Divine is pivotal since Call and Grace need to work jointly.

Ken Wilber was successful in accommodating Sri Aurobindo among evolutionary philosophers, and Hindutva intellectuals have achieved equal success in including him as a revolutionary leader. Savitri Era Religion however worships The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine.

Different books of Sri Aurobindo are different worlds. It's not easy therefore to acquire their underlying philosophy. The Mother's writings and conversations add to the problem. Those impatient for achieving some spiritual power for announcing here should wait for a year or two.

It's normal for people these days to be exposed to different religious or philosophical streams. Thus one develops a comparing mentality for judging various pros and cons. Savitri Era Religion worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the most authentic.

Provision of reservations in the Constitution was necessary at that time. Right now it's essential to create an environment free from any kind of discrimination. Savitri Era Party, drawing inspiration from the universal philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, backs this agenda.

Evolution of consciousness has produced man on this planet. Sri Aurobindo predicts further evolution and arrival of Supramental beings. It has nothing much to do with technological or biological changes. Aspiration for something altogether new is the crux of Savitri Era Religion.

Psychological exploration lessons are ubiquitous in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings but to follow them, meticulously, is not easy for everyone. Savitri Era Religion, on the other hand, encourages people to be a devotee by practicing Aspiration, Rejection, and Surrender.

Why is The Life Divine so difficult to read and understand? Many people feel perplexed about this. This is a valid complaint but the solution is to keep on reading the book till one makes sense of some sentences. Further growing familiarity with its special vocabulary also helps.

Savitri Era Party is against Hindutva and the attempt to appropriate Sri Aurobindo by it. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo stand for universalism and human unity. Their philosophy of evolution yearns for an ideal society and harmony. Descent of the Supramental consciousness is the goal. 

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is essential for any progress in the spiritual path. It's also indispensable for collaboration with the Earth's consciousness for its upward journey in the evolutionary ladder. Reciting Savitri, too, has its effect.

New Age and popular psychological advices are abundant, but being oriented with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings enriches our understanding of various facets of life and lopsided priorities. Spiritual aim modifies all our wants from the material condition to a sublime state.

Whether it is the desire to be desired or How much work is enough; life's predicaments are endless. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo don't provide any ready-made answer. They don't recommend escape, either. The flame of yoga has to be carried through the lanes and bylanes of ignorance.

All admirers, devotees, and followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are fortunate to have been introduced to their seminal writings. Passing on this privilege to others is important. Most people are not educated and language is a problem. So special effort is needed for diffusion. 

Social and professional circumstances keep our attention away from spiritual seeking. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo keep on pointing this out in their writings. The concept of All life is yoga is therefore fundamental. Remember and offer too is a successful formula for all seasons.

Turning towards a spiritual life is nothing new. There have been umpteen examples in all ages and in all cultures. But understanding the difference as regards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is important. They predict rise to the next level of consciousness and following them is vital. 

More than a strict ethical anchoring or ideological astuteness, unwavering loyalty and devotion towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is essential in Savitri Era Religion. Those worshipping other gods and goddesses or gurus should introspect as to their actual religious affiliation.

Physical exercise is essential for good health and emotions, but building intellectual muscles is also equally important. Everyone is half-educated. So, consciously seeking to tread the untraversed zone must be a target. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are able guides in this project.

Restrictive policies of Congress allowed Communist and Socialist parties to flourish. India suffered for long, and Hindutva grew as a reaction. All four segments rely on fragmentation of society. Savitri Era Party, driven by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy, seeks harmony.

I didn't choose The Mother & Sri Aurobindo by reading their books. It was through a process of collective devotional environment that things took root. Savitri Era Religion offers a similar facility to be availed by anyone anywhere in the world. No intermediary nor fixed practice. 

Modi may or may not get Nobel Prize, but he deserves to be commended for keeping the Hindutva movement under control. Truth about his role in 2002 will never be known but the way he is being criticised by the hardliners, it proves his moderate approach. To give the devil his due!

Freedom from the British rule was merely a symbol. Freedom from death is the real challenge for The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Search for Immortality is age-old as vouched by the Veda, and each of us is an aspiring candidate. In fact, the very purpose of life is to seek endlessness.

Happiness or Quality of life are much contested concepts. Savitri Era Religion doesn't believe in any kind of calibration or independent evaluation since the lives of the devotees are guided by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Playing out what's conceived by Psychic Being is the norm.

Intellectual and aesthetic pursuits have their own utility and validity but tethering them to purely material motivations would be anomalous. In The Life Divine, Sri Aurobindo outlines how our practical arena is a reflection, or degeneration, of the Sat-chit-ananda consciousness.

Sri Aurobindo wrote when the West was going through thorough intellectual churning and showed an altogether different path. Still it can't be said to be his real contribution. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo sowed the seeds for descent of Supramental consciousness in the occult domain. 

Thousands of involuntary processes happen within the body and many of our conscious actions are induced by habit. Thus the concept of agency and autonomy is dicey. Further the evolutionary burden of self-preservation and self-interest drive most of our initiatives. So, surrender.

Spectacle or conspicuous exhibitionism need to be avoided. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo stressed on silence and quietness. Collective events however have to be noisy and chaotic. It also makes people happy. The challenge therefore is to stay conscious about demands of spirituality.

Any govt will be criticised and Modi's is no exception. The original opposition to him for 2002 riots has diluted. But the way he has performed as the Prime Minister needs to be appreciated. He may or may not continue till 2029 but he has provided a reasonably liberal atmosphere.

Manmohan Singh as Prime Minister was a shameful chapter for the country as well as the Constitution. Modi, on the contrary, has put the Constitution back on the rails. Style of functioning will vary from one politician to another but power in the hands of a genuine leader is crux.

Hindutva votaries continue to misrepresent Sri Aurobindo by concentrating on a solitary sentence from a speech. Hindutva sympathisers among followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo too leave no occasion to highlight Hindu themes in their writings but Savitri Era Religion is apart.

Many books have been written on Sri Aurobindo's philosophy and poetry. There have been several attempts too to understand his metaphysical formulations and prophecy in comparison with that of Western thinkers. But leaving out The Mother makes scholarship on #SriAurobindo crippled.

Seeking Immortality is the central message of the Veda, and Sri Aurobindo has rekindled the same theme in Savitri. But it's not mere poetic imagination. He fleshes it out in the robust metaphysics of The Life Divine by harnessing Darwin and Spencer to establish its inevitability.

Savitri Era Religion came into being in the year 2006 in response to the need that the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have their own independent shelter. Savitri Era Party took birth, a year later, in 2007, in order to air an alternative political ideology and narrantive.

The Secret of the Veda is a unique book without any equal before or after. Unfortunately there's a great resistance to it and hence its revelations are not percolating to general consciousness. Savitri Era Religion is the only religion which respects and is guided by its findings.

There should be no dithering in acknowledging The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine so that surrender becomes real. Kowtowing to other entities is subversive of the evolutionary forces. Devotees should keep in mind not to be obstacles for Supramental consciousness.

For a Left with no future (NLR - 2012) by T. J. Clark has been circulated. No Western scholar is competent unless he refers to two dozen authors and thinkers. Unfortunately, Sri Aurobindo is never cited although he has a lot, significant, to say regarding the future of humanity.
