Applying The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's teachings to own life and surroundings can take various forms. Performative show of those connected with institutions can be warped. Similarly, advocacy assignments may engender exaggeration. My vantage point is past a rosy, romantic picture.

Congress banished Sri Aurobindo from curriculum. Therefore, many thought BJP to make amends and supported it. However, I have been warning against any compatibility between Hindutva and Sri Aurobindo. Now that BJP is trying to wriggle out of Hindutva, Savitri Era Party may rejig.

Integral yoga is personal but Savitri Era Religion (2006) is a collective identity. Each devotee has the responsibility to declare affiliation voluntarily so that new generation feels confident of finding value and security. Children of many devotees have drifted away after 1973.

I came to know The Mother & Sri Aurobindo owing to a lot of hard work and sacrifice by the direct disciples. Thousands of devotees are engaged in the same spirit, today. Publicity is essential but lack of an identifiable brand is a huge lacuna. Savitri Era Religion is the answer.

I studied BSc,BEd with Botany honours in college along with Agriculture as vocational education and Statistics. For CAIIB exam in Punjab National Bank I studied Commercial Law, Banking, Foreign Exchange, Accountancy, and Economic Geography. I studied Western Philosophy on my own.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine who preside over the evolutionary march is the new ontology of Savitri Era Religion. They represent East-West synthesis and human unity. Devoid of any mythology or ritual, it's the most modern and rational religion.

Savitri Era Party has the advantage of not eulogising India's imaginary, past glory nor denouncing Colonialism. It's not invested in various demographic groups for the sake of electoral politics. Owing allegiance to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, it believes in a genuine fraternity.

While the UGC issue is under stay, a sort of bulldozer justice was applied to the NCERT episode. Prima facie, it looks curious; but the matter is serious. Let's hope, justice is done to the whole matter! This shouldn't be a text-book case of ostrich-like pretending of hunky-dory.

Ashram, yoga, or spirituality on one side and difficult philosophical books on the other keep The Mother & Sri Aurobindo perpetually away from the people. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine, who preside over the evolutionary march, is the best way for seeking their grace.

A book on the legacy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can sell better. Many controveries need to be documented and made a part of the modern history. The contributions of devotees in different States need to be remembered. Such a book may warrant translations in different languages.

That's perfect but as an author with such a long experience, you can attempt this professionally. You will discover that how their legacy is very much a part of their philosophy; the undulating journey towards the Life Divine.

The last section: Criticisms and Controversies

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo emphasised how evolution as a primal force is driving us all towards a higher and sublimer consciousness. By unveiling its Divine origin, they aligned it with the Vedic exhortations for cosmic powers and principles. So aspiring to be a Brahmin is legit.

India has undergone various forms of political and economic changes but many aspects of rural life are still intact. Nothing much to do with religion, or any ideology, but a spontaneous preference for simplicity and austerity is very much evident. Can this be called spirituality?

The Mother is on her way to Puducherry in 1914 where she is going to meet Sri Aurobindo for the first time on March 29. A day of infinite significance for whole mankind. Epochal books like The Life Divine, The Synthesis of Yoga, and The Secret of the Veda take birth on August 15.

Savitri Era Religion (2006) is about worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine. Savitri Era Learning Forum (2005) provides an alternative narrative while Savitri Era Party (2007), a future vision based on their Integral philosophy and ideal of human unity.

Evolution of modern society out of the clutch of religion or feudalism should never be forgotten. Savitri Era Religion therefore doesn't assure any success in yoga or spirituality. Establishing a direct relationship with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo depends entirely on the devotee.

These days the propensity is to curse instead of welcoming fresh discourse. Ideas and affirmations should provide ideal opportunities for refutation with adequate substantiation. But ad hominem attack is the order of the day. Morality on this score, therefore, is sorely required.

Are people so ideologically rigid? No, because it's against human nature. Self-interest drives all. Defending modernity may contain an element of self-interest as well but it's not the whole truth. The phrase paid-media says it all. Without money, ideology won't sustain for long.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo not only represent a new philosophy but also present a radical physics. By presiding over the whole process of evolution, they enunciate a new religion and ask for human collaboration. In line with the Vedic target of Immortality, they soar to its acme.

Evolution is an ongoing phenomenon, and hence, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are not something optional. What they have predicted bear the stamp of evolutionary inevitability. They have backed it up with robust Theory, which is unprecedented in human history. Savitri is the epitome.

Without sound intellectual grounding, it's impossible to appreciate the profound significance of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. What Feuerbach or Comte had inaugurated, had to be given a decent burial. The Life Divine dared to annex the heaven to the earth in a coherent explanation.

I'm beholden to Google for giving me the opportunity to publish a family of two dozen blogs way back in 2005. Dedicated to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, I have never been particular about their commercial aspect. A decade back I had received 4K as ad revenue. Today another 8K came.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are not mere philosophers. They were well aware of all human weaknesses and difficulties and stressed on work in the Ashram. The practical side was not the real solution, but it performed the more important aspect of aspiration for higher consciousness.

Divine grace is the most crucial element in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's teachings. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine, who preside over the evolutionary march, is the first principle of Savitri Era Religion. Further their work for reconfiguration of body cells continues.

By affirming All life is yoga, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo grappled with the challenge of how their life-embracing Integral philosophy can really be a success. Simply personal effort on the part of the disciples was not enough and therefore they emphasised sincerity and surrender.

West Bengal Political parties don't consider Sri Aurobindo a Bengali, nor do they derive any inspiration from him. Due to lack of his contribution to local literature or culture, awareness of him among people is negligible. Further, he is overshadowed by other popular luminaries.

Savitri Era Party maintains that restoring Sri Aurobindo's preeminent status in West Bengal is essential for right political direction not only in the State but also in the country. Bengal is important because the Left has a deep footprint here and ideological tension can emerge.

In a depressing scenario of political parties leaning towards identity-based electoral planks, Savitri Era Party will rescue the situation by its message of human unity and universality. The spirit of Bengal Renaissance needs to be reaffirmed through #FiveDreams of Sri Aurobindo.

Savitri Era Religion worships The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises. Hence they are beyond comparison or comment. Clubbing them with their contemporaries, or other famous gurus, is nothing more than historical narrative.

Despite guile, Modi has turned a reliable barometer for judging intellectuals in India. Who supported or denounced him at what point or for which period of time is a reflection of the person's maturity and honesty. The timing also tells about quid pro quo involved, or lack of it.

I have been supplying an alternative viewpoint on many things, on the basis of my study of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's books and allied orientation in Humanities. It's purely rational and has nothing to do with spirituality. Most people lack this advantage and chase celebrities.

The rise of Hindutva was due to several factors like anti-Congressism, anti-Colonialism, and anti-Western sentiment. Many devotees and followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, unfortunately, fell prey to this religious nationalism. Savitri Era Party holds it as anti-evolutionary.

Intellectuality, however, is conspicuous by its absence in Hindutva. On the other hand, the Left has a formidable presence in Theory. Hindutva as a transitional phase will fizzle out. So, the real political fight is with the Leftist framework. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo will win!

Democracy is a great concept but doesn't account for dynamics of human nature adequately. In Monarchy, corruption was confined to the ruling family and their associates, but in democracy no citizen can be free of corruption. Supporting some party involves intellectual dishonesty.

Instead of aligning The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, too much, to either developmental or sustainability goals, it's possible to worship them as the one Supreme Divine presiding over evolutionary march. Keeping them out of current geopolitical calculations similarly seems appropriate.

I have been consistently saying that Hindutva is anti-evolutionary despite empowering a large section of people through its muscular exhortings. Lack of any coherent Theory and belief in imaginary past glory is the primary complain. Secondly, harnessing it for votes is unethical.

Marxist view of perceiving reality was more or less simple or stable to which many more lenses like psychoanalytic, phenomenology, structuralism, and semiotics were added during the last century. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, too, have contributed significantly to this melting pot.

Savitri Era Party (2007), drawing inspiration from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, provides an alternative liberal ideology in the democratic arena of India. Without mythology or rituals, Savitri Era Religion (2006), similarly, is a rational and coherent religion for the modern mind.

I have been advising against comparing Sri Aurobindo with his contemporaries or famous gurus. Similarly, blending The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's teachings with any other philosophy is infructuous. Even, Integral yoga is incomplete without worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine.

Just posted the most blasphemous statement that, Even Integral yoga is incomplete. It's simply unimaginable how I have fallen to such a low! Yet it wouldn't have been possible without the immeasurable grace of The Mother. If it's utter deviance on my part, then also it's for her.

There are many admirers and followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo but no one has worked in the field of politics at the national level. Indian People’s Congress was formed under the leadership of Shreepal Singh @singh_shreepal in 1993 with such a purpose

After voluntary retirement in 2000, intellectual work and Internet have provided me a great getaway from ordinary life. The optimistic outlook of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo injects momentum in this exercise. Disseminating an objective and honest perspective is a big satisfaction.

He writes well and hence his books sell in plenty. But what about content and context? Shouldn't they deserve a greater degree of appraisal? Books by Sri Aurobindo are difficult to read and understand. It takes a lot of effort to reconcile his ideas. Still, it's highly rewarding.

Provision of Scheduled Castes and Tribes in the Constitution was an inbuilt trigger for implosion. Rise of Hindutva and the nebulous slogan of Hindu Rashtra exploded the Constitution from outside. It's an anarchic atmosphere at present as a deceptive theatre of democracy goes on.

There prevails a misconception that reading Sri Aurobindo's books is an invitation for practice of yoga and spirituality. It's not so. His major works deal with philosophy where he explains diverse facets of the world with clarity. Understanding these is a huge intellectual leap.

Studying Education as a part of my BSc,BEd course was useful but I found them quite shallow in comparison with what The Mother & Sri Aurobindo offered. As a teacher in my own village school these theoretical aspects were of little use as syllabus and examinations ruled the roost.

As a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo it's my responsibility to be true to their ideals and hence the role of a right narrative is preeminent. In this context worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine is fundamental which leads to Savitri Era Religion and Savitri Era Party.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo remain largely unknown despite their immense contributions. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine, under Savitri Era Religion, is an excellent avenue for seeking their grace and collaboration with evolution for descent of Supramental consciousness.

Monarchy may be considered as conforming to human nature, while democracy is something artificial and imposed. Like all normative tasks, democracy fails to be successful. Yet, going by Sri Aurobindo's evolutionary scheme of things, democracy is likely to reform and refine itself.

Capitalism, like Monarchy, is close to human nature while Modernity is something aspirational. So when Fukuyama solemnised the marriage of democracy and capitalism it was a travesty of truth. It reminds of the proverb that All that glitters is not gold. Gold can be found in Veda.

Savitri Era Religion owes its allegiance to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo who are always present in their three poises: individual, universal, and transcendent. Apart from Vedic foundations, it is indebted to the Cosmic Movement of Max Théon, inspired by a stream of Jewish Kaballah.

Many aren't aware that the last six chapters of The Life Divine were added when it was published as a book for the first time in 1940. These can be said to be a different book in the sense that a clear roadmap was drawn by Sri Aurobindo in accordance with his evolutionary vision.

After observing myself and others associated with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's teachings for forty years, I started Savitri Era Religion in 2006. Disenchantment with Hindutva too was a big factor for opting for an independent shelter. This is the most modern and rational religion.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine and surrender to them has evolutionary ramifications. Surrender basically means abandoning mental boundary, so that higher levels of consciousness take charge. Savitri Era Religion is the only avenue for this trick.

After their first meeting on March 29, 1914, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo started publishing The Life Divine on August 15, 1914. Savitri Era Religion (2006) is driven by the logic of this epochal book. This is an intellectual field. Those who haven't read this book are illiterates!

While The Life Divine laid out the blueprint of a future world The Secret of the Veda unveiled the palette of principles for its execution. However The Mother book blended them together which forms the fuel of Savitri Era Religion. Victory of this evolutionary march is inevitable. 

This month keeps on reminding about how The Mother travelled from France and reached the nondescript town of Puducherry to meet Sri Aurobindo on March 29, 1914. Historians are yet to gauge the profound significance of this epochal moment that sowed the seeds of East-West harmony.

Integral yoga was enunciated by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo which is followed by thousands of people across the world. On the other hand, Savitri Era Religion was founded by me in 2006 which worships them as the one Supreme Divine, without any theoretical or practice-wise binding.

Crafting a tweet takes a lot of effort and imagination. Squeezing it within the specified character limit is another exercise in gymnastics. It is addressed to varieties of readers with the potential of stimulating their thinking. Yet some are in the habit of urinating like dogs.

Whether Hinduism and Hindutva are the same? Whether RSS is a Hindu organisation? Which Shankaracharya is more authentic than others? Whether Brahmins should agitate against UGC rules? Instead of daily bothering about such questions, I'm happy to be in Savitri Era Religion (2006).

Savitri Era Religion (2006) is an attempt to build a globally recognisable platform so that the children of present devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo don't drift away. It's free from any institutional bondage or stipulation of rituals. All are invited to join in voluntarily.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have brought new knowledge and new light. To be guided by it is the responsibility of the whole humanity. Indians have a special task on this score. As followers of other gurus are dwindling, Savitri Era Religion is emerging as the most modern religion.

I acquired information on The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in bits and pieces from books, magazines, and newspaper articles which were not easily available. Keeping notes and thematically matching them in separate registers. The thrill of finding an apposite quotation was exhilarating!

Most schools had closed the Humanities stream. I found one for my daughter in 1998 after a lot of effort. Everyone discouraged as to why I am imposing my whim on a good student. This bias continues but most here pose to be experts on Humanities without studying it in the college.

Babaji Ramakrishna Das and Prapatti started publishing a quarterly magazine titled Navajyoti ନବଜ୍ୟୋତି from Puducherry through which I had come to know The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. They also built a network of Study Circles called Pathachakra ପାଠଚକ୍ର which has grown enormously now.

After shifting to Delhi in 1988, I got the wonderful opportunity of reading books and magazines at library of Sri Aurobindo Ashram - Delhi Branch. I was also stealthy reading portions of new books which I couldn't afford, at the Sabda sales centre. Society Centre was also useful.

Got to know a few renowned persons who were residents of Shipra Riviera in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Apart from Prof. S.K. Chaube, Prof. Manindra Nath Thakur, and Sanjeev Verma, Artist, @sanjay_election and @mukeshbudharwi are eminent public intellectuals. @shantprakash also lives nearby.

Sri Aurobindo Ashram-Delhi Branch has two other Centres in Uttarakhand which I have visited. Van Niwas is located on Kilbury Road in Ayarpatta, Nainital while Madhuban is in Talla Ramgarh. Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture in Shillong, Meghalaya has similar scenic beauty.

Intellectual growth leads to clinging to primacy of Theory. Otherwise, it's just irrational believing in something out of extraneous considerations. Leftists advocate Theory but operate in a partial territory. Consequences accordingly are commensurate. Sri Aurobindo mends defect.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo provide excellent guidance for self-management and intellectual enrichment. Most are ignorant about them, and hence are missing a great opportunity of benefitting from their path. Savitri Era Religion and Savitri Era Party are trying to bridge this gap.

Ethical posturing can't guarantee peace and harmony

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo haven't given us any practical means for effecting some change sans sincerity and surrender. However I keep on employing and ploughing my puny brain on this score. The UGC/GC issue, I assume, will be a big trigger for foregrounding Savitri Era Religion.

Remembering The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for their infinite love and compassion is the most important aspect. They didn't expect anything except transformation of the human condition and reclaiming Immortality. They also amply clarified that they don't expect much from human beings. 

Sri Aurobindo shouldn't be confined to revolutionary phase nor yoga and spirituality. Understanding The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in their myriad dimensions is a challenge for the modern generation. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine is the easiest way to access their grace.

India had seen Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam, but Colonialism brought Christianity and Western thought. Still something was wanting. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo met each other for the first time in Puducherry on March 29, 1914. New knowledge flowed providing evolutionary stimulus.

India is perceived to be under threat due to the ongoing war but it's difficult to evaluate what is good or bad for India now. I have been predicting a scenario of granting Sovereignty to the States under a loose Federation in line with the #FiveDreams Manifesto of Sri Aurobindo.

Savitri Era Religion is a demat religion. While food and other material objects are offered to the deities as part of worship in many traditional forms of religion, the work or action is offered to The Mother as part of surrender. Sri Aurobindo rescued the Veda from dumb rituals.

It's impossible to understand the speciality of Sri Aurobindo without reading any of his books. Videos do provide an overview but a few months of dedicated reading is essential. Holding a book is also important as online resources don't do justice to the weight of his vocabulary.

A preliminary understanding of the philosophy of evolution as explained by Schelling, Hegel, Bergson, Nietzsche, Spencer, and Whitehead is essential for right appreciation of Sri Aurobindo's epochal contribution. Teilhard de Chardin and Samuel Alexander also come under this club.

Living in an unusually large country like India entails being exposed to a huge number of crime-based news on a daily basis. These reported cases are only a fraction of what actually takes place. Personal reaction tends to be an indifference a la Hannah Arendt's banality of evil!

The UGC-GC debate is going to analyse all superficial assumptions relating to Hindutva. Hypocrisy on vote-bank politics can't provide answers to ontological questions embedded in social organisations. No Western theory can unravel this mystery except Sri Aurobindo's Mitra-Varuna.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the only hope for the future. No amount of ethical posturing can guarantee peace and harmony. Savitri Era Religion is the safest avenue for surrender to them and seeking their grace. That is our best collaboration with evolution for Supramental age.

I have been spreading The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's message since 2005 but obviously the resistance is enormous. All dominant religions and digital platforms try to muzzle my voice. Hindutva adherents don't find any virtue in my posts. Sri Aurobindo's devotees also are against me.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine and hence restricting them to their limited circumstances of Ashram can be highly misleading. What they said or did have relevance as Lila but the larger purpose for which they were busy all the time shouldn't be lost sight of. 

As people are swayed by flourishing narratives, I have been trying to create certain propositions by repeating them. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were against new religion but I started Savitri Era Religion in 2006 with the underlying principle that they are the one Supreme Divine.

Admirers, devotees, and followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are requested to consider coming under the fold of Savitri Era Religion so that their children don't drift away. This legal and sociological aspect is as important as its political use of numbers game in a democracy.

From my experience of a staggering sixty plus years with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's teachings I highlight the utilitarian aspects more than the so called spiritual side. Foremost is the intellectual growth along with poetic sensibility. Right view of history is also a big gain.

Each person is a prisoner of his circumstances. Hence applying the generalised, self-management lessons of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can seem to be fault-finding. But the real trick is surrender instead of any sense of guilt. Savitri Era Religion facilitates seeking their grace.

Writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo prod for aspiring for the impossible. What is mystical for others is often an everyday affair for their followers. Higher levels of consciousness are talked about in a matter-of-fact manner. Such ontological internalisation has an advantage.

Most people instinctively associate The Mother & Sri Aurobindo with Auroville or the Ashram in Puducherry. Savitri Era Religion (2006) however affirms that anyone anywhere can worship them as the one Supreme Divine and seek their grace without any mediating person or institution.

Very difficult to verify or certify what is true. Always there are multiple versions and the problem is being compounded due to social media. However, we can agree that both of them, through their activism, brought about some kind of democratisation in religion. That's valuable.

As Founder of Savitri Era Religion (2006), I have accepted The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises: individual, universal, and transcendent. So, I don't have to bother about other things. This is an unprecedented ontology.
