Some tweets seem to be a complete philosophical statement but the comments expose loopholes or add additional facets to put things in perspective. Books lack this advantage and thus remain prisoners of their own ivory towers. The Life Divine by Sri Aurobindo is the greatest book.
Following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo helps not only in staying away from past religions and their festivals but also from paying obeisance to the great men or falling prey to their ideologies. Inclusivity and plurality may be politically correct but not conducive to self-interest.
Books like The Life Divine by Sri Aurobindo are redundant now since movies on sundry files are going to enlighten the Indians. Visionary movie-makers have arrived:

I have been listening the songs written by them for the last sixty years but I don't know anything about the great Bollywood lyricists apart from Budaun or Ludhiana. At times, I read tweets extolling one over the others but it's tough comparing since all of them were so talented.
I have the experience of writing with a dip pen and preparing ink from tablets. Technological progress during the last sixty years has been astounding. Philosophy and aesthetics have been my constant companions. That so many people neglect their own self-development is surprising.
Savitri Era Party has the ideological clarity as enunciated by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. The Ashram's present status may be unenviable but it signals a new paradigm in the political domain. Auroville, similarly, is pregnant with fecund possibilities despite the current turmoil.
Security concerns render the rulers distant and inaccessible but that shouldn't be a pretext for acquiring an aura of a superman. Exhibitionism performed during the election canvassing should be buried after the voting day. Posing superiority or imposing whims need to be avoided.

Growing up in a village in Odisha in the sixties had many advantages. No Muslim politics, no Dalit politics, no Mandal politics, no compulsion for religious rituals, festivals were food-centric, and no one told us not to take non-veg. Chicken however was not permitted in kitchens.
Instead of believing in the story of creation and evolution popularised by science, Indians need to internalise the cosmology of Sri Aurobindo as expounded in The Life Divine and The Secret of the Veda. Getting rid of the India-centric chauvinism is essential for an Integral view
The Supreme Court found that whether it was this govt or that, it hardly matters to the people and, hence, abstained from any disruption. Similarly, it's totally pointless who controls the bureaucracy since it never changes. Both the judgements, therefore, are, surely, welcome.
As a retired bank officer, I have seen how hundreds of crores of loans were written off, every year, and no one seems to be perturbed by this silent siphoning of money that goes on continuously. Secrecy and privacy ensured by modernity has scores of beneficiaries in our country.

Reject AAP, BJP, Congress and other dynastic parties. Savitri Era Party, following the ideals of Sri Aurobindo, is the right choice for the future. The youth of India must reassess the political reality and come out of the influence of the dominant parties. Drastic change needed.

CP is right about Sri Aurobindo since the latter doesn't support the current form of rituals-based Hinduism. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine in the Savitri Era Religion and not any other gods or goddesses.
Defeat was needed to startle the cadre that you could lose 2024 if you continue to fight among themselves. So, stress on all other things like Hindutva should be put on the back burner. Only Modi cult will save.

Yes. The plight of AAP in Gujarat is an indicator of how difficult it is for a new political force to grow.

Defeating AAP, BJP, and the Congress is important for a secure future of the country. All those who are voting for regional parties are unable to unite and hence have no voice at the Centre. A new national party will fill that vacuum and represent the majority of the population.

I am reading paeans for Annamalai and Siddaramaiah conforming to the great man syndrome. Democracy is about the wishes of the people ruling the country through the representatives and not the great leader ruling over the people. Conceiving such a scenario shouldn't be that hard.
Modi looked invincible till yesterday but 2024 can throw other possibilities now. No chance of Congress replicating this win elsewhere but can be a nuisance always. Odisha and West Bengal too need change. The people of India need to ponder over such prospects and act accordingly.

That's quite common even in the corporate culture of today. In politics, it's more evident. But taking exception to the Russian collaboration with Bollywood seems to be unjust. As children, we used to read Soviet Land in Odia which were distributed almost free. Influence was wide.
Now that Modi winning 2024 looks slim, two action points for being etched in history:
1) Sovereignty to the States and
2) Inclusion of Sri Aurobindo's books in University syllabus.

Excellently put. In fact, for any govt, the needy deserve extra-care without any discrimination on other considerations; the first claim on resources. The ethical dimension that you point out derives from the governmental obligation.
With over 300 seats in 14 major States being under the Opposition, Modi is really vulnerable now, in 2024. Further, if the opposition unites in U.P., then the situation will be worse. Right now, only 7 major States are under the ruling alliance. Political realignment is required.
It's an open secret that people have rode to victory on the strength of Minority votes. When their votes get divided, others capture power. This is the demographic reality of India and those seeking to overlook it are deluded. Even the Bahujan of Mayawati is crippled without them.

Sri Aurobindo's answers are the best when it comes to civilizational questions. The Human Cycle by him deals with various phases of social evolution and future projection. Besides, he grapples with conflict in detail in his Savitri and The Life Divine.
Rating Narendra Modi is easy but for that one has to listen his party supporters. He is crticised for not doing enough for Hindutva and that is his achievement no. one. Appeasing Muslims is another achievement. Not changing text books is the third. So, his performance is secular.
Under Mohan Bhagwat, RSS has revised many of its earlier stands to look modern. BJP under Modi too has tried its best to stick to the Constitutional path. But their detractors chose not to recognise these aspects. Such visceral hatred is not fair. Dynasty supporters should think.
Democracy entails people electing their ruler but the Constitution of India doesn't have provision for this leading to all sorts of corruption and negation of the people's will many a time. Sovereignty to the States with the Presidential system can rectify this serious infirmity.
