Sri Aurobindo had punctured the intellectual legitimacy of Hindutva even before it was born. He had also pointed out shortcomings of Congress. So beware of all those who are expressing deceptive tributes to him today without subscribing to an iota of his ideological formulations.

Some are under the illusion that The Mother came to India to tell the people to visit the temples. Nothing is more absurd than this. Sri Aurobindo has categorically mentioned that he didn't come to repeat the past. He wrote volume after volume to state this. Then why impose lies?

I have been campaigning against Hindutva but their activists simply ignore me as they are aware that Sri Aurobindo is not their strong point. Peddling some intellectual hotchpotch for securing votes is their motive; not astute academic learning. So it's futile to argue with them.

It's good to have a reasonable orientation in Western philosophy but spending time in comparing the spiritual practices recommended by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo with those of others is useless. Integral yoga is something unique and its modalities are lifeless without The Mother.

"The Left’s identitarianism seems even more imprisoning, and deeply anti-political," castigates Mehta but he fails to provide any alternative. It's true that the path of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo doesn't offer any concrete issue but a firm assurance of a solution resides there.

Each moment in our lives is critical from the evolutionary point of view in the sense that the possibility of culmination of the divine plan in the form of ascending to a higher consciousness is lurking to take place at any time, as prophecied by Sri Aurobindo in The Life Divine.

Hindutva is all about racial superiority and social asymmetry whereas modern political theory preaches liberty, equality, and justice. Reconciling these two extremes is impossible unless The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are accepted as the reigning ideology. Sine qua non for harmony.

No, it's not a pre-requisite. Simple aspiration is enough and, of course, turning to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo.

Sri Aurobindo theorised about the descent of the Supramental consciousness as part of evolutionary unfolding. This is his most original contribution to philosophy which the Universities continue to ignore. The political dimensions are significant and hence neglecting it hurts.

Believing in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine helps to be freed from premodern ideologies and social stipulations. The direct disciples have shown the way and the new generation should take it forward. The philosophy and poetry of Sri Aurobindo has no parallel.

Westerners are prisoners of the Western philosophy. Hindutva adherents, similarly, are bonded to mythology and rituals. Devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo on the other hand enjoy the best philosophy and modern social attitude. Savitri Era Religion is most suitable for future.

Many people are in the habit of exhibiting that they are experts on Sri Aurobindo by repeatedly quoting just one line from an early speech of Sri Aurobindo. They have not read anything else. Conference-wallahs don't find any future after his 150th birth anniversary celebrations.

Considering the size of population in our country, awareness about The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is negligible. That should be the first priority. Dissemination of their political relevance is the next stage. Attraction for their philosophy should follow. Spirituality is the last.

Sri Aurobindo is not limited to his books. He wrote a few essays before his death in 1950 and one can take them as the starting point to know him. His correspondence with Dilip Kumar Roy at this point is also important. Not to mention Savitri which he is dictating to Nirodbaran.

Neither the Ashram nor Auroville portray the right picture of Sri Aurobindo's philosophy. Message of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is universal and applicable anywhere. It's not about an ethical life alone but also excellence and innovation. Grappling with politics and commerce too.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo form an anchor in life if one is conversant with their teachings. So, too much of eagerness for spiritual realisation may not be the right approach. That leads to early frustration. Proper study is essential for right orientation and a universal ethos.

By incorporating the castes in the Constitution, the document was pushed backwards by one thousand years. If that truly reflects the social reality, then it may be good. But, what's the way out? Following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is the only way for a clean break with the past.

At one point the Congress too felt confident about its ideology duly certified by the Left and we have seen its fate. The current recipe will also meet the same prospect in a matter of time. Evolutionary stirrings are on that The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have unmistakably foreseen.

Intellectual confusion among people sympathetic to Hindutva is enormous. Each one has his own brand of the past and the future. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, therefore, have prepared the best possible elixir. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine solves all contradictions.

Greeting a person should be limited to expressing or exhibiting respect without uttering any religious or political slogan as these slogans are weaponised in course of time. Incorporating modern behaviour instead of repeating defective cultural motifs should be practiced by all.

Conceiving Democracy as a potent antidote of Monarchy seems ethically soothing but what are the evolutionary implications? Considering the Indian situation where democracy is unable to come out of the apron strings of dynasty and authoritarianism, the churning is to continue.

If the whole of India comes to be ruled by one party and the Chief Ministers are nominated like the recent examples, then the kind of democracy will be a disaster. Savitri Era Party demands Sovereignty to the States so that local level decision making receives full efflorescence.

Unlike others only the followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo know that changes come about through evolution. The desired results don't happen in a miraculous way but take the arduous path of negotiating through processes of ignorance. So there is hope and we need to be patient.

Everyday various business houses are spending crores of rupees in advertisements for promoting their brands. Different political parties are doing the same for mobilising supporters. Dominant religions also follow the same path for securing their turf and winning more adherents.

Money and organisation is essential for making people realise that a much better path is there than the present political options. Willingness of people for working for this cause should be spontaneous and voluntary. Admirers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo need to be more active.

In view of the fact that Hindutva has been successful in marginalising the castes politics, the majority having its own way in a democracy should have looked normal, especially when it has been denied this preeminence for nearly a century. But Sri Aurobindo doesn't agree with it.

All political parties are undergoing churning as regards ideology. Quest for a successful electoral formula is on without questioning the leadership. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have handed down a philosophy that is disruptive. Evolutionary push towards ethics and fairness to act.

No book on the relevance of Sri Aurobindo vis-à-vis Hindutva and therefore gargantuan confusion prevails in the minds of most. Many people feel inspired by Phule, Periyar, or Ambedkar as their ideologies have been publicised widely. The same is needed in respect of Sri Aurobindo. I was thinking of a more topical and polemical one so that the contrast with the ruling ideology comes out clearly.

Reading about the rival opinions on temple construction reminds of the Matrimandir at Auroville and how The Mother thought aeons ahead of others. Knowing about why the Mother worship should take precedence over the puranic or patriarchal forms from Sri Aurobindo is also relevant.

Elections are integral to democracy but Govt development plans and welfare schemes tend to be pushed to the pre-election year for deriving maximum electoral mileage. Such manipulation derails smooth and timely execution of projects affecting numerous stakeholders or beneficiaries. 

Negotiating multiple elections in over thirty States with a muilti-party environment is a superhuman task. There's no example of any god ever having performed such a feat. Thus, the Prime Minister of India indeed exceeds the achievement of any god, past or present. So, a new god!

Ensuring soundness of democracy is the responsibility of all and Savitri Era Party doesn't approve of the attempt of BJP and BJD for influencing the public mind through overtly religious temple ceremonies in the election year. They should be performed in a non-partisan way later.

Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the foundational principle of Savitri Era Religion. They are considered as ever-present and busy directing the course of evolution for descent of the Supramental consciousness upon earth.

Savitri Era Religion is the outcome of a complex intercultural genealogy but the identity is firmly Indian. Sri Aurobindo harking back to Veda and Upanishads restores the original religious sentiment in place of the conventional mythological superficiality.

Savitri Era Religion is not tied to any location or system. Anyone thinking of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can instantly be connected with it. Aspiration for higher consciousness and rejection of the past methods are essential, apart from surrender to them.

There are plenty of books to read with regard to Savitri Era Religion but the simplest way is to open towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. That's how one collaborates with the Earth's aspiration for descent of Supramental consciousness ushering in Harmony.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo were dissatisfied with various religions and recommended the path of spirituality, instead. Savitri Era Religion is nothing but following their footsteps and showing a new way of life by sowing the seeds of the new consciousness.
