People don't know about The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Understanding their philosophy or spirituality is possible through dedicated avenues like Savitri Era Religion. Otherwise, they remain buried under the history of their scores of more famous contemporaries, in the last century.
Several factors led to the rise of hate-based Hindutva like the Temple movement, Terrorism sponsored by Pakistan, Appeasement policies of Govt., Wrong depiction in Bollywood, Stray incidents during festivals, and Targeting women. But political exploitation of it is reprehensible.
I just clicked a news item by Jagran Josh in the Google homepage. Immediately, pop-ups started raining incessantly in different shapes and sizes. Must be two dozens, and exasperated, I quit. All sense of decency and decorum has vanished now. No sense of proportion or any emotion!
Belief in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, as the one Supreme Divine, is the fundamental requirement for any progress in yoga. Because aspiration for the higher consciousness is possible only when one has full faith and confidence in them. It is more than mere devotion or surrender.
If you read Sri Aurobindo's later works, evolution is the watchword. Thus, if you feel that the past should be the guiding spirit, it may not be appropriate. Sri Aurobindo passed away on December 5, 1950, but he had never associated himself with the ideology or activities of RSS.

Although representatives of all parties are expressing their deep reverence towards Sri Aurobindo, only Savitri Era Party (2007) is truly dedicated to his ideals. Other parties have other icons and respective ideologies but Savitri Era Party is free from predetermined narratives.
Admirers, devotees, and followers of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are very much within their rights to be guided by the standard form of their teachings. However, as Founder of Savitri Era Religion, I have been pursuing a different path since 2006 without any qualm of defying them.
No one assured me that the country I was born in will be a highly developed one. So, no frustration on that count. No one gave any firm indication that human misery will vanish. So, no disappointment on that score, either. That leaves only The Mother & Sri Aurobindo to rely upon.
Men may come and men may go, but the world goes on forever. Thus to think that we can understand the functioning of the world and change it according to our fond hopes is nothing but a superstition. So in the meantime, worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine.
Savitri Era Religion doesn't assure any success in yoga. It avoids any promise of spiritual visions or mystical experiences, as found in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings. It simply provides an alternative ontology that they are the one Supreme Divine, who are always present.
Only those who are conversant with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy understand how others have a very different worldview and outlook. Both for the religious and secular minded, reading the books like The Life Divine or The Synthesis of Yoga can open new vistas of insight.
The Mother & Sri Aurobindo met on March 29, 1914, but the world is still reluctant to recognise its profound significance. Savitri Era Religion worships them as the one Supreme Divine without any reliance on brick and mortar. Also no connection to any other religion or mythology.
Giving it a fine structural framework many thought that Integral yoga can be practiced independently but unfortunately the whole system is nonfunctional unless tethered to The Mother. She is the pivot and the fulcrum and her love, grace, and compassion is an essential ingredient.
Savitri Era Party is the only solution in the current political situation. Recognising Sri Aurobindo and his future vision should have been the job of intellectuals long ago but better late than never. This will happen by the grace of The Mother and not by orchestrating protests.
Sri Aurobindo was born in Kolkata on August 15, 1872. Bengal Renaissance had run its full course. Later during his participation in the Freedom struggle, he started publishing his synthetic vision in Bande Mataram, Karmayogin, and Dharma. Savitri Era Party seeks to take it ahead.

Savitri Era Party disagrees with the dominant historical narratives since the role of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo has been neglected deliberately. Similarly, it feels that many currents of Western philosophy are irrelevant since Sri Aurobindo's insights have not been incorporated.

Savitri Era Religion doesn't consider The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings to be self-evident truth. They have to be read within their context and reconstrued according to the new ontology of worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine, where needed. Calling them avatar is wrong.
The Mother declared that the Supramental light and force touched the Earth consciousness on February 29, 1956. Savitri Era Religion and Savitri Era Party, therefore, are in a constant state of anticipation. All preconceived ideas and predetermined narratives are of little utility.
Savitri Era Religion is against proving the divinity of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. It's a matter of perception by the devotee. One can be influenced by any of their multiple facets. That acceptance is important. Otherwise, it is a long struggle of reading snippets and comparing.
Following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as icons is the basic requirement for Savitri Era Party. Aspiring for human unity and world peace in accordance with the vision of The Life Divine forms the object. The #FiveDreams Manifesto broadcast on August 14, 1947 lays out the blueprint.
Savitri Era Religion doesn't recommend living either in the Ashram or Auroville since ordinary life provides the right circumstances and opportunities for evolution of any individual. Similarly it's also incorrect that Integral education can be imparted through dedicated schools.
Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine under Savitri Era Religion involves an entirely new ontology without any connection with old philosophies, theologies, theosophies, or mythologies. To call them Yogi, Rishi, Guru, or Avatar, therefore, is erroneous.
Savitri Era Religion will solve many problems of the world by its new ontology of worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine who are always present in their three poises: individual, universal, and transcendent. Savitri Era Party too spreads a new narrative.
Just noticed that Richard Hartz pronounces the t of Savitri as in tree. Is it really impossible for Westerners to call me ତୁଷାର and not ଟୁଷାର? Nobody knows more than him the value of mantra and how pronouncing the name Savitri, itself, in the right way, is profoundly significant!
As it's becoming more and more evident that it is impossible for people now to read a book like The Life Divine or delve into an epic like Savitri, worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, under Savitri Era Religion (2006), is the most appropriate avenue.
I came in contact with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo at eight in 1964 and The Mother passed away in 1973. I haven't seen her. However I had imbibed enough inspiration during those ten years which sustains me even today. I have been spreading their message via social media since 2005
