While working in the Bank, I learnt about the rule, "no one can give a better title than he himself has." This, I feel, applies to yoga and spirituality too. It's very common to find scholars paraphrasing the writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and explaining deep psychological states in a matter-of-fact manner. While the academic context is quite valid, it becomes problematic when it comes to practice.
Very rarely that caution or disclaimer is appended. Without any personal experience in yoga, I, therefore, avoid recommending practicing it. Besides, it is never assured that B can replicate A's orientation. It's necessary to recognise that The Mother & Sri Aurobindo didn't confine themselves to the bounds of Modernity. But we don't enjoy such luxury, especially, when we are dealing with others.
