Bury to curry favour

I was in Port Blair when I received the happy news of Sachidananda Mohanty having been nominated as a member of the Governing Board of Auroville Foundation. Hoping that his tenure will augur well for all, the Archimedean point prompted me to delete some of the controversial and provocative posts that I had made during the last twelve years of active blogging. It was painful to erase such a huge load of written words but then it occurred to me that forgetting also has a salutary function in life as explained by Sri Aurobindo in The Life Divine.

However, the loss of scores of contributors, including me, on this score can't be compensated but the only option left now is to grin and bear it. [TNM55]
