He was named Arabinda but his name appears as the editor of Arya in 1914 as Sri Aurobindo Ghose. Subsequently, however, he signed as Sri Aurobindo and his books are published under this adopted name (pronounced as one composite word, श्रीअरविन्द). Writing Aurobindo is incorrect.
Auroville founded in 1968 was evidently a dilution of the Ashram established in 1926. Sri Aurobindo wrote philosophy for public before it but switched to spirituality for disciples. His writings are unmatched as being logical but no assurances should be offered on actual results.
It's easy to quote to extol spirituality but, ultimately, it's nothing but a cult in the garb of yoga. People in general regard Sri Aurobindo as a rishi or a guru but Savitri Era Religion will keep on growing around his versatile personality and The Mother's enigma and charisma.
Understanding what Sri Aurobindo was doing during his last years is important. Most of his major writings are things of the past and the evening talks are superficial. It's unlikely that he was busy with the Record of Yoga kind of pursuit. He divulged little but it was concrete.

Playing with multiple lenses to catch the sight of a preconceived landscape can be illusory and frustrating. Sri Aurobindo, and no other person, gives an authentic version of truth, the most coherent cosmology. It's an integral whole and not, merely, a synthesis of East and West.

That's fine. Knowledge ought to be respected if not the person. But I expect that you don't talk about SAVITRI & Ramcharitmanas in the same breath. Also don't equate Sri Aurobindo with his famous contemporaries like Vivekananda. There's need to focus on #SriAurobindo exclusively.

It's well known that I don't encourage anyone to read Sri Aurobindo. But it's not the question of liking you or anyone. SAVITRI is sacred to a lot many people and if you continue to monkey around with it, then I will surely register my protest. #SriAurobindo
Put well, but the consequences, regrettably, may not be modern and hence looking at traditionalism in this reductionist and abstract sense might not be a good lens. The best assessment of tradition vis-à-vis evolution has been provided by Sri Aurobindo in his The Human Cycle.
Writing can't but wresting power can. Savitri Era Party seeks to provide an alternative under Sri Aurobindo's inspiration.
Brevity can mislead. Integral yoga may not ask for change of religion but it doesn't bar religious conversion as available under the Constitution. However, there shouldn't be any coercion or unreasonable allurement. Officially unrecognised religions too have their own attraction.
Hindutva agents trying to spread seeds of discord and confusion among the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is mischievous. There should be constant vigilance against flamboyance of such characters and their overt and covert promoters. Savitri Erans will have to win this war.

Culture amounts to sympathetic appreciation, right evaluation, and avoiding disproportion. Some handles focus on interested themes as a result of which a balanced view of things fails to emerge. This lopsidedness leads to distorted history and unintended selective amnesia. Beware

Talent of Chapala/Chandana blossomed in the same family atmosphere as of Sarada Prasanna Naik which of course soured in the later years. I assume that this seemingly hagiographic book must have ignored the pioneering contribution of the later. Knowing truthful facts is important.

Fond hope of India nurturing all its languages is a chimera. Only the States as Sovereign nations can cultivate pride in respective tongues.

Being an Odia, my concern is for Odia and Odisha only. It's a survival issue and so, being parochial and protective is legitimate in this context. Formation of new States/Nations can't be ruled out but many languages, like rice varieties, will be extinct.

Internet brought revolution to music but in Odia we are still in the 'Kankala' stage. A handful of pioneers had done some good work, but the dedicated manner in which
archived old songs is unique and unprecedented. He has also acquired a lot of historical information.

Each State in India should serve and preserve a single language, like Odia in Odisha. One needs to be a bit rigid on this score otherwise local languages will perish. Puritanism must score over Democracy here.
