The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the one Supreme Divine and they chose India as their place of work. The role of their direct disciples has been outstanding. Current confusion and misunderstanding might evaporate with political change which is not unlikely. Rationality is solution.
I worship The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine and have been opposed to the temple movement from its very inception. I don't know why did they choose my birthday for their inauguration. This also comes with the sad news that Sri Aurobindo's Relics Centre is theirs.
No amount of celebration can earn even a single extra vote for BJP since the situation in different States remains rigid. Division of votes in UP between SP and BSP is the only factor for winning in 2024. It might change with opposition uniting. Too much of religion may backfire!
The celebration seems to be more by shaming and humiliating the detractors than any positive or epochal achievement. Victmhood is very much the running theme. Remember, you can't wipe out political differences in a democracy. Rather respect those who hold their convictions dearly.

Judging things analytically through theory as enunciated by thinkers like Marx or Nietzsche forms a foundation of the modern world. Sri Aurobindo did a splendid job in this direction in The Life Divine way back in 1914. Young Indians should be aware of his arguments and findings.
Knowledge and rationality should be promoted and not irrationality and superstition. By achieving the symbolic interpretation of the Veda in 1914, Sri Aurobindo has exposed the futility and obsolescence of rituals. Young Indians need to understand the rationale behind his vision.
The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine under the Savitri Era Religion who are always present in their three poises: individual, universal, and transcendent. It has no mythology or cosmological connection with any other religion, theology or philosophy
The divine status of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is not explicit in their writings and hence many of their theoretical formulations need to be read accordingly. They have said many things, out of politeness, in their interactions with the disciples which also should be reimagined.

Sri Aurobindo and what he stands for continue to be misrepresented on this platform. Well-read and well-meaning people, unfortunately, don't get to read my posts. The Mother's teachings are totally ignored. India-centric worldview acts as an intoxicant. Integral approach needed.
Continued dominance of Hindutva in the national scene will keep Sri Aurobindo relevant for the scholars since he is the only alternative. The Life Divine should be included in the college syllabus so that people know his philosophy beyond his oft-repeated opinion on nationalism.

Different sections are expressing various types of apprehensions but having lived under the Constitution of India for the last 68 years, I don't find the situation is altered in any manner. Our democracy is evolving in the right direction and getting vibrant with media assistance
Regarding The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the best means of benefiting from them. Otherwise, it's all intellectual gymnastics and historical porridge. Apart from descent of Supramental consciousness, their work on divinisation of the body is unprecedented.
Universality, in the vision of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, is not uniformity. They don't discard identity but foresee harmonious relationship developing organically among them. Understanding self-interest in the true sense can sensitise one towards the sensibilities of the other.
Symbolic interpretation of the Veda is the most original contribution of Sri Aurobindo whereby different deities forming a ladder of consciousness can be conceived. Evolutionary journey of the creation as explained in The Life Divine can be understood easily as also Varna system.
Savitri of Sri Aurobindo deals with the question of death and suffering. The story is about victory over death but Sri Aurobindo turns it into a saga of adventure of consciousness so as to arrive at a deathless state. This is the most daring proposition of the Veda turning real.
Wisdom of the Veda is the greatest achievement of India, asserts Sri Aurobindo. But before Darwin's theory of evolution, it was not possible to understand its full import. Sri Aurobindo integrated both in The Life Divine to produce the most sophisticated philosophy of the world.
Prayers and Meditations from the Collected Works of the Mother forms a sacred text for the devotees of the Savitri Era Religion. These were written by The Mother but are to be read as directed towards The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine.
India was firmly under the British rule and The Mother & Sri Aurobindo launched Arya from the French enclave of Puducherry in August 1914 in which fiercely futuristic books like The Life Divine, The Human Cycle, The Future Poetry, and The Secret of the Veda were published. Read!
