Politics draws its validity from Human Rights which is considered fundamental to our existence. Democracy, too, is rated as the best possible means of participating in politics. But modalities of such participation are quite wide and vast. Applying some ethical standards to judge specific cases is neither easy nor appropriate. Still, something precipitates out of diverse voices and opinions.
Protests are the favourite of the season. But democracy can't function on the basis of protests. Undermining the sanctity of the people's mandate through arm-twisting methods won't produce favourable results. Fighting elections is the right mode of becoming the people's representatives. Any shortcut is immature and immoral. However, the games time plays can't be predicted. It has its own rules and justifications. https://x.com/SavitriEra - https://bsky.app/profile/savitriera.bsky.social
