Life is complex and, more so, who have talent and have achieved success. Being in the public eye itself multiplies problems and opportunities and strategic reliance upon others becomes inevitable. A prisoner of circumstances, such a journey hardly cares for commoners' admiration.
Relegating bhajans to the morning and then switching to ghazals during the day and khayals in the evening is common for many. Rasa relating to the lyrics seems apparent but the underlying element of aesthetics is music. No wonder, some devotionals use tunes of popular film songs.

Many are discussing the top leaders but Democracy entails that people will elect their local representatives who in turn will elect the leader. Flouting this process is giving rise to authoritarian tendencies and manipulative propensity. JP used to talk of a partyless Democracy.
Political speculation involving permutations and combinations of myriad opposition parties has gained momentum. Nothing unusual but a nation of such a vast population not exploring the possibility of something new or experimenting with what is yet untried looks a bit surprising.
21st century was an evocative slogan four decades back and no doubt the world has seen quantum jump in technology and communication. But as 2021 is nearing its end there's no sign of human misery subsiding. National boundaries hold firm and Sri Aurobindo's World Union is far away
It's a matter of regret that the Govt has become a helpless spectator when its citizens are being pushed into the clutch of digital empires. There's no sovereignty now nor privacy of the people. There should be will to fight cyber colonialism and establish domestic pre-eminence.
Supreme Court stressing on community kitchens is surely with good intentions but social problems don't have such readymade solutions. Nutrition is not the only issue since despite inadequacies, kitchen is the backbone of a home. Ashram or Platonic models are yet to be a success.

Politics in each State has so crystallised that it's impossible to craft any overarching national party or alliance, now. Recognising this stark reality is most paramount so that granting Sovereignty to the States is debated in earnest before any unsavoury incident takes place.

With back towards the sun for Vitamin D. This is perhaps the only nutrient human body gets outside food intake. Some affinity with plants in harnessing sunlight too. Also a Vedic resonance of directly assimilating Varuna, silently, without the medium of words, sounds, or rituals.
