I have seen Bank nationalisation and later their privatisation. I have heard of population explosion and now measures to increase it. I have seen campaigns against colour TV and computers and now phones are in every hand. Similarly Sri Aurobindo's day will come of its own accord.
It is difficult for most today to understand how Indian Express and Arun Shourie fought against the might of Indira Gandhi during our college days. Shourie was the one sun then to illumine the conscience of the entire nation. Singlehandedly, he changed course of nation's history.

Savitri Era Party demands that public institutions and roads shouldn't be named after different persons to avoid influencing objective judgement by history. Similarly, trains should be known by numbers and places instead of ornamental names or persons. Democratic norms essential.

I have been reading The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's writings since 1964 and have participated in many devotional and organisational activities related to them. However my discomfort with Hinduism after Babri Masjid demolition in 1992 led me to establish Savitri Era Religion in 2006.
Sri Aurobindo challenged Darwin, Spencer, Marx, Nietzsche, Bergson, Freud, et al with a very simple logic. What's the source and energy of your upward evolution or social revolution, he asked. Thus he explained how the Divine principle is already involved which unfolds gradually.

Odia ଓଡିଆ has the rounded, most beautiful script among all Indian languages. It retains Schwa and the pronunciation perfectly matches what is written. It doesn't have the obfuscating gender difference of inanimate objects and abstract notions like Hindi. Time to recognise these.
I have been canvassing for granting of Sovereignty to the States under a loose Federation so that each language attains its full potential. Nationality, like in Europe, is language.

It would be wrong to confine Sri Aurobindo to India only. In his mature works he talks about #WorldUnion and human unity.

The basis of Sri Aurobindo's thesis is that what looks bogus today becomes a reality tomorrow through the process of evolution. Like the monkeys never imagined anything other than them!
