Sect-wise matrimonials

During the agitations against caste-based reservations recommended by the Mandal Commission, The Times of India initiated caste-based segregation of its classified matrimonial columns. Now they have come out with further innovation by introducing ‘Soulmates’ in The Speaking Tree Matrimonials where a sample profile reads as “influenced by Ramakrishna Mission.” Hundreds of such sects are a reality in India today, and Saviri Era Religion would easily count as one.
