Different political phases of the last six decades provide varieties of experience. Development of science and technology also add to the kaleidoscopic story. Awareness of philosophy too travelled in an identical trajectory. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo however have been a constant. 

Inner living and exploration of psychological continents are an important component of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's yoga. Savitri Era Religion however is not insistent on it due to lack of reliable empirical results of ascending consciousness or verifiable subjective experiences.

The Life stories of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are incomplete without each other's. Their presence through the two World Wars is an infinitely significant fact of history. Understanding that vis-à-vis descent of the Supramental consciousness should be part of college curriculums.

Election dates have been announced and when the results will be out on June 4 it will be apparent how the States have assumed the status of individual nations. This trend is irreversible and wishful thinking to the contrary won't be successful. The earlier it's recognised, better. 

The philosophy and vision of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo evolved before the TV, Internet, and Mobile phone era. Hence, their social and political dreams need to be reimagined according to the present context. Savitri Era Religion worships them as the one Supreme Divine, worldwide.

All kinds of unethical practices have been employed during the last sixty years for creating a godlike image of Gandhi by various quarters. The same is true to a lesser extent for Tagore and Vivekananda. Hindutva has been able to challenge but Sri Aurobindo is yet to get his due.

Many people confess here that they have not read Sri Aurobindo's books but give no impression that their knowledge or views may be inferior or defective. This sort of obduracy and disregard for a great modern philosopher is so rampant that it's not considered unusual or improper.

In the absence of much academic engagement with the works of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, it's safe to refer to them as the one Supreme Divine who are always present and lead the course of evolution. Seeking their love and grace in our own lives and also for harmony in the society. 

When Sri Aurobindo explained the evolutionary inevitability of a new Supramental race in The Life Divine, the concept of immortality or a divinised body was in a rudimentary form. It became more prominent in his priority in later years. In Agenda, too, The Mother talked of cells.

There is no other way of achieving purity than eliminating impurities. Rejection therefore is another principle of Integral yoga apart from Aspiration and Surrender. But significantly the latter two are more geared towards transformation through invoking the higher consciousness.

Savitri Era Religion came into being in 2006 on some scholars observing that the legacy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's yoga had degenerated into a cult. Recalling Bertrand Russell equating Marxism with Judaism/Christianity I had reasoned that Savitri Era fulfils seven parameters.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have done more than enough at the theoretical level and it's multifaceted. The resistance to evolution being what it is, patience with gratitude is the right attitude in the present circumstances. So avoiding false hopes and promises should be the norm.

When I launched savitriera.blogspot.com in 2005, Ken Wilber controversy was at its peak. Credit goes to him for making a large number of Westerners conversant with Sri Aurobindo. His misrepresentations however were ably contested by scholars like @akazlev. malankazlev.com

New voters and those born in the present century have a wonderful opportunity for understanding Sri Aurobindo and his future vision if they are a little bit curious about the Veda. theveda.org.in

His symbolic interpretation is in consonance with evolutionary philosophy.

UP being no longer very secure BJP can hope for a comfortable 200 figure. Anti-incumbency and Opposition-unity will play out in full force. People have become tired of empty rhetoric and endless theatrics. Indian democracy has thrown surprises in the past and two terms are enough. 

Modi supporters are examining the Bond issue from all academic angles except the corruption factor. They are even casting aspersions on CJI but find no wrongdoing by SBI. But they go hammer and tongs when it comes to Kejriwal. One feels sorry for such pathetic level of sycophancy. 

Without any means of participating in the electoral politics, Savitri Era Party prays to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for ushering in a new Govt that is more democratic minded and displays accountability, transparency, and willingness for unreserved communication sans manipulation.

My involvement in Sri Aurobindo Study Circle movement in Odisha gave me a solid grounding for a later phase of intellectual development, when I shifted to Delhi. Freedom from institutional restrictions have permitted me to voice independent and objective views on varied subjects.

Leftist ideology has several merits, but it destroyed the political and intellectual climate in the last century in many repects. The same kind of fanaticism and intransigence, unfortunately, is developing muscle under Hindutva aegis. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are being ignored.

The three banners I created have contributed to a distinct alternative, when most people are wallowing in confusion. Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF - 2005), Savitri Era Religion (SER - 2006), and Savitri Era Party (SEP - 2007) provide enormous online resources for this century.

Many Hindutva activists have turned authors. Once the feeling of victimhood and craving for fame subsides, the academic humility and real quest for knowledge will grow. Critical faculties of comparing and responding to rival opinions will develop. From Goondaism to Kshatriyahood!

The Savitri Era paradigm derives its confidence from the evolutionary philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. No one knows the future but perceiving the desirability of happenings and fostering a longing for good things should be instinctive. Thus theory will unfold as history. 

History of political ideologies in India after Independence can be analysed very easily. It can also be found why none of the schools has achieved success. Sri Aurobindo laid out a vision for India way back in 1914 but it stands neglected. Savitri Era Party is the first attempt.

So many suffer from an incurable disease of mentioning Vivekananda and Sri Aurobindo together although each one's vision and philosophy varies widely. Apart from being the greatest philosopher of the world Sri Aurobindo is worshipped as the one Supreme Divine alongwith The Mother. 

While evaluating the present situation, keeping in mind the Emergency is important. Congress still suffers from the Dynasty virus while Modi has risen from the grassroots. Besides, Hindutva has undergone substantial transformation during his tenure. But his two terms are enough.

Considering the hold of the dominant religions, popularising the message of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is a Herculean task. It's rare to see any post on them on this platform from the Western world. But, it's instructive to remember that the days of the old religions is numbered.

The concept of evil is very complex in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy. The rigidity of Karma is absent and the choice of the Psychic Being plays a big role. Thus, the quota of evil is an invited guest. The same is true for the society too. So the path of reforms is lame.

Savitri Era Religion has the potential of replacing all other religions since it's the most modern and rational faith. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the most credible metaphysical formulation without the crutches of any mythology and rituals.

Savitri Era Party is opposed to AAP, BJP, and Congress. It has been demanding granting of Sovereignty to the States under a loose federation so that the nucleus of a #WorldUnion as per the #FiveDreams of Sri Aurobindo takes shape. It also demands maximum of two terms for CM & PM.

As a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo for the last sixty years my allegiance to them is almost natural. Drawing intellectual and philosophical sustenance from them has also firmed up over the years. Such a combination is unique in both the centuries that I have lived through.

I don't think you have read Sri Aurobindo's works adequately since what you say about him is a misrepresentation.

Almost all persons from whom I imbibed my devotion towads The Mother & Sri Aurobindo or looked up to for inspiration are no more. Situation has drastically changed now due to the menace of Hindutva. The ideological alternative i give, however, provides me sufficient satisfaction.

The Mother & Sri Aurobindo thought for the humanity. How peace and harmony can replace the present ignorance and suffering. They perceived that the next stage of evolution is near and asked for our collaboration. Savitri Era Religion invites all to this adventure of consciousness.

As human beings, death and disease are our adversaries. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo came to resolve this challenge continuing from the Vedic era. Supramental consciousness is the next stage of evolution and surrender to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is the only way for its descent.

Kejriwal may or may not be guilty of corruption but he is certainly guilty of defrauding people on the issue of corruption in 2011. Let the truth come out. There should be no relaxation on investigation.

Connection between Bankim Chandra and Sri Aurobindo is well-known, but when I read the same between Sarat Chandra and Sri Aurobindo, I immediately became curious. But then it turned out to be in the context of the ongoing scams. What with Arvind Kejriwal, Aurobindo Pharma, et al!

Reading books of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as well as their direct disciples is important for commenting on various subjects in their light. Otherwise, spreading wrong views is like blind leading the blind. Acknowledging Sri Aurobindo's change of opinions over the years needed.

Savitri Era Party (2007) is against AAP, BJP, and Congress. It draws its inspiration from political philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Now that all political parties are entangled in the corruption of Electoral bonds, ethics need to be adhered to by players in public life.

Instincts of survival, self-preservation, and self-interest are wired into every living being, and politics is no different. Hold of various canons of morality, therefore, can't be very firm or stable. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo aim at change of consciousness for enduring effect.

Modi or Hindutva supporters are eminently entitled to pursue their passion without mixing it with their devotion to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. The two are entirely different paths and I have been emphasising this since 2005. Savitri Era Religion came into being in 2006 for this.

For the last two decades, I have believed that Sri Aurobindo is the greatest brand and one day, it will be recognised spontaneously. I continue propagation of this on various platforms but not to much success. Certain turns of events may facilitate, and let's pray to them for it.
