It's difficult, now, to identify any event as conforming to the evolutionary ideals propounded by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo or not. Still, Savitri Era Party is trying to put forth an independent opinion outside the blatantly partisan views peddled by politicians and journalists.

By reinterpreting the Veda, Sri Aurobindo explained that behind external rituals, a call to progress at the level of consciousness exists. So a general re-examination of the social customs and festivities can lead to a realisation of their real evolutionary import that is hidden.

Political defections have become common and opting for greener pastures can't be contested. But abandoning the ideology one pursues is not a sign of morality. Finding the right intellectual framework in the current circumstances is possible only through The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. 

In ten years each of Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi, India has seen opposite extremes. A new Prime Minister is needed who can really lead the govt without much fanfare. Performance and not publicity should be the priority. Transparency and accountability should be reestablished. 

Ideology is the last thing for the political parties as the reason for their existence, now. Even capturing power is not the priority. Money has become the sole motive in all kinds of activities undertaken by them. Dynasties of all hues are busy devising new schemes to get money.

Apart from the Cosmological formulations of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, Savitri Era Religion has the unique priority of descent of the Supramental consciousness and achieving physical immortality. These lofty ideals are part of day-to-day life and collective yoga and spirituality. 

In view of the reports that partiality is going on in performing rituals, EC should direct all temples to hold a common puja ceremony for all candidates for ensuring a level playing field. No party should get a preferential treatment just because it fights for building of temples! 

Arabinda meant lotus but he changed his name to Sri Aurobindo. The Mother devised a symbol for him by redesigning the symbol of Max Théon's Cosmic Movement. Thus, the name and the symbol have huge occult significances when seen in the light of the Vedic imperative of immortality.

Thousands of institutions are running in the name of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and the situation in any one will depend on the owners. People getting drawn towards the current dominant political narrative is not unusual which becomes accentuated at the time of elections. Beware!

Savitri Era Religion worships The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, but leaves their writings to the interpretation of scholars and devotees, as one pleases. It's necessary to remember that many of their writings are rhetorical, polemical, persuasive, or personal.

On March 29, 1914, The Mother arrived in Puduchrry and met Sri Aurobindo signifying an evolutionary leap for the mankind. One hundred ten years later, when the situation in many countries is dimal, let's pray them and seek their blessings for peace and harmony in the whole world.

Reading diverse authors is part of intellectual development but it's only by reading Sri Aurobindo that one acquires a balanced worldview. It's not necessary to agree with him but the emphasis on unseen forces and interconnectedness helps to understand ourselves and world better.

Savitri Era Party is against AAP, BJP, and Congress for separate reasons. State level parties too have many demerits. Spotting local level candidate with record of genuine public service is important for nurturing grassroots democracy. So don't hesitate to waste your vote on them. 

Within a few months of their first meeting on March 29, 1914 The Mother & Sri Aurobindo thought of launching Arya the first issue of which came out in August 1914. As The Life Divine and other books were published month after month, WWI was gaining momentum. Not just coincidence!

This lane leading to the Platform No. 1 of Shyamnagar Railway Station, West Bengal, has been in a bad shape for years, although thousands of people use it every day. No one cares for the convenience of the commuters. So, why blame @sanjeevsanyal for telling some truth about them?

Civilisation in India is over five thousand years old and this land has seen countless events but the first meeting of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in Puduchrry on March 29, 1914 is the most significant. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine is a must for leap in consciousness.

In this #InternationalWomensMonth, recognising and remembering the extraordinary life of The Mother (1878-1973), who was responsible for the establishment of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry and Auroville with thousands of disciples spread worldwide, is extremely important.

Embracing Savitri Era Religion is almost a compulsion for the educated mass. It is the most modern and rational religion without the burden of any mythology or rituals. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine and their life stories are well documented.

While Savitri Era Religion helps to be free from the mythological fiction of different religions Savitri Era Party, drawing inspiration from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, empowers to reject the ideologies of Gandhi, Nehru, Tagore, Periyar, Ambedkar, Savarkar, Golwalkar, Lohia et al.

Despite immense developments in technology, it's difficult to know, for sure, the direction of ideas moving from one civilisation to another. We live in the midst of a mixture, but one thing is definite that The Mother came to meet Sri Aurobindo, in Puducherry, on March 29, 1914.

By worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine, Savitri Era Religion modifies their ontological formulations and textual analysis of their writings. This entails a wide chasm between a devotee and a scholar. A new religion is no more a matter to be ashamed of.
