Without reading The Mother's works, Sri Aurobindo's writings alone don't provide the Integral picture. So, both intellectually as well as spiritually, they are one. Besides, The Mother's grace is essential at every step of life. Savitri Era Religion is, basically, worshipping her.
Congress took the Dynasty for granted and history books were doctored accordingly. When that era seemed to be receding, Hindutva victimhood and imaginary past glory popularised fresh falsehoods. Sri Aurobindo has been a victim in both scenarios. Truth and knowledge have no takers.
It's very difficult to get convinced of Sri Aurobindo's divinity from his political involvements or even writings. The Mother's words and testimonies of their direct disciples are useful for this purpose. Savitri Era Religion nurtures this little-known truth of great significance.

Imagining an unbridgeable chasm between ancient and modern values is common but The Secret of the Veda by Sri Aurobindo reveals how it's a myth. Ethical paradigms as represented by various deities has been a task for humanity in all ages and cultures. Studying it can reorient one.
Western philosophy is basically about this philosopher or that. The same is true for ancient Indian and Buddhist philosophy. The Life Divine of Sri Aurobindo obviates all these choices. Further, it provides a credible and dependable metaphysical framework of workings of Universe.
I have been writing about a political alternative to Hindutva since 2005. Savitri Era is my own formulation based on The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's philosophy. I don't think anyone else is supporting such a scenario. The opposition is floundering due to lack of any viable ideology.
Savitri Era Religion is based on devotion and loyalty to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, although they are not the founders. They are connected with many happenings and philosophical streams of 20th century, which form a modern-day mythology. Max Théon is one.
Around a dozen great men belonging to the last two centuries hover over the intellectual landscape of Indians and their ratings keep on fluctuating over time. Sri Aurobindo,undeniably, is head and shoulders above others but there are more effective propaganda machines for others.
The philosophy advanced by Sri Aurobindo in The Life Divine remains unsurpassed. Savitri by him is the greatest poetic creation. Moreover, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are worshipped as the one Supreme Divine who are always present in individual, universal, and transcendent poises.
No one can understand why the senses are called Indriyas unless he or she reads The Secret of the Veda by Sri Aurobindo. It would be clear that Indra or Varuna are not mythological deities but realms of consciousness that are waiting to descend in earth atmosphere on receptivity.
Nehruvian consensus committed despicable things to history and education but that doesn't mean we throw away the whole legacy and ethical framework. Sri Aurobindo is the golden mean between Nehru and Hindutva. Evolutionary trajectory is clear as present regime would face hurdles.
As devotees, we try to imagine the hand of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo behind all happenings and, in that sense, nothing is strictly secular. Politics and Constitutional arrangements, however, are to be perceived as secular domains since people from multiple religions are involved.
Sri Aurobindo introduced revolutionary ideas more than a century back but our Universities, regrettably, have failed to respond. Western materialiasm, on the one hand and Hindutva obscurantism, on the other need to be eschewed. Such a philosophy can remodel life too through yoga.
Savitri Era Religion modifies the standard version of Sri Aurobindo's philosophy which predominantly relies on The Life Divine. Savitri Era Religion accepts The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine and accordingly a new cosmology warrants to be imagined to accommodate.
Savitri Era Religion can't be divorced from ethics although there is no mechanism for enforcing it on devotees. Loyalty to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo entails subscribing to the spiritual view of life and the world the logic of which should convince one of a moral path as natural.
Quoting from Sri Aurobindo's writings is easy, but to assume that the wisdom contained in it will act automatically, may not be true. Believing in The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the one Supreme Divine is the secret which gives their words the real transformative and dynamic power.
New knowledge, presented by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo in the last century, remains valid in this century, too. Advances in science and technology have not been able to surpass their inferences. Mythology, however, is gaining traction resulting in society going backwards. Beware!
Savitri Era Religion is pregnant with political possibilities and many of the world's problems will vanish under its umbrella. It's the most modern and rational religion without the bondage of any redundant mythology or superstition. All thinking persons must come under its fold.
