Savitri Era entails Collective Yoga

As a devotee of #TheMother & #SriAurobindo for nearly sixty years, I have been telling one and all to read Sri Aurobindo's books in original. https://t.co/N2vOxDWHZn
Sri Aurobindo is not about spirituality or meditation alone. Diverse facets mark his voluminous and luminous works.

Many come with the expectation of some spiritual realisation after a few sessions of meditation. This is a wrong notion. With #TheMother & #SriAurobindo, it's a collective yoga. Individual siddhi is good but it's more geared towards collaborating with the Evolutionary impetus.

Let's not be so harsh in the public domain. It's the education system which has produced such a generation. Btw, I'm also pushing an agenda with which many followers of #SriAurobindo don't agree. Let the public choose.

Including #SriAurobindo's writings in college syllabus is a simple and straightforward demand. But no public intellectual in India is at all bothered about this necessity. If students realise the importance, then they can put pressure on the authorities. Awareness on this crucial.

Without an intellectual, ethical, and aesthetic anchor, no show can run for long. Seven years in power, yet Hindu past glory rhetoric has failed miserably to produce any coherent future agenda. #SriAurobindo represents the Evolutionary Force and following him is the sound option.

Rajiv Malhotra is accusing Indians but he doesn't realise how much he has misguided others. Claiming to be knowledgeable without reading #SriAurobindo is a big delusion. K. Sankaran also commits same mistake in his otherwise well intentioned journal piece.
.
No dearth of good and honest people in the country but they are helpless before a corrupt system. Only by following #SriAurobindo, a new society can emerge and Savitri Era ethos manifest. If you really want to follow Sri Aurobindo, then you must unfollow all other gurus and gods.

Just my opinion. Ego is not a bad thing.

It's not necessary that you will read all the books of #SriAurobindo and then decide whether to follow him. That can be one way but the shorter course is to admire him intuitively and then find or discover fodder to follow him. So just follow Sri Aurobindo and tell others to do.

Each country celebrates its poets and philosophers but the way #SriAurobindo has been undermined is distressing. Let's hope that the nation wakes up to his vision in his 150th birth anniversary year starting August 15, 2021. Complete Works of Sri Aurobindo

English is the chord by which Indians are braided with UK and USA. Modernity, Democracy, and Science are common concerns. Western Philosophy has reached a blind alley. India has the advantage of #SriAurobindo. It's time, the West recognises this and allows students to study him. https://t.co/7jydpsGxjD

The way Tamil linguistic nationalism has asserted itself to resist dominant influences in post-Independent India is exemplary. Odisha similarly has a long history and a vibrant language. Preservation of its purity and versatility is the responsibility of all those who love Odia.

Khechedi, I think, is the right Odia word but you are writing Khechudi in the hashtag, unless it's deliberate. Thanks.

Agreed. All shades of opinion should coexist but they should revolve around #SriAurobindo. In an interconnected world, antipathy towards the West is absurd. Savitri Era, therefore, proposes a positive approach. No wasting of energy in arguing or criticising. Follow Sri Aurobindo.

Please search the site for any keyword and learning about one thing will lead to another. Thanks.

India itself is a problem that the British left behind. Linguistic States are the real nations and must be granted Sovereignty. There's no inherent virtue in being an abnormally large nation like India or China. Smaller nations would be more cohesive and competitive. #FiveDreams
