It is difficult to foretell whether the proposed Vedanta University in Orissa will have anything to do with the Veda or Vedanta, but the enthusiasm for the Nalanda University, in the meantime, is hotting up. It is really enigmatic why people fall for the nihilistic philosophy of Buddhism so readily. The philosophy that ruined India was spread in the most organized manner from this site which is in ruins today. To revive it in a grand way might replay the history and therefore we must stop the atheists and secularists from inviting another edition of national degeneration. Their intellectual thirst, instead, can best be quenched at the fountainhead of Sri Aurobindian exposition based on Vedic wisdom. [TNM]
