[The supremacy of Vedic Knowledge should not be mixed into political issues. by Vladimir on Thu 26 Jul 2007 08:33 PM PDT Profile Permanent Link Science, Culture and Integral Yoga 9:27 AM]
Prof. D.P. Chattopadhyaya once expounded in a speech at IIC that the word, “Samhita” is a derivative of the term, “Sangha” meaning community or collectivity. That the Vedas emerged out of the collective endeavour of the seers is perhaps one of the many implications of the word, Samhita.
Thus, politics as the quest for the principle of harmonious collective living leading to Collective Yoga and The Life Divine is very much in the spirit of the Vedas. Savitri Eran integral philosophy can never raise such false dichotomies. [TNM]
