A
yantra depicts both macrocosmic and microcosmic forces acting together, and
the photographs of The
Mother & Sri Aurobindo kept together can be said to constitute
one. It is difficult to understand the occult significance and efficacy, and
so, tinkering with this arrangement is not at all advisable. But strangely, in
this photograph relating
to International
Women’s Day Meeting, we find the photograph of Dalai Lama, a Buddhist,
prominently occupying the middle space between the photographs of The Mother
& Sri Aurobindo. Personally, one may experiment with any fantasy, but to
resort to such liberty at the institutional level is a gross anomaly.
