Savitri Era Chintadhara doesn´t tally with all that The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have said. When dealing with current issues we don´t have to stick to their utterances belonging to the last century. Citing them is anachronism and misrepresentation. Context and nuance are paramount.
Without bothering about the history too much; it can safely be said that the Constitution of India has become dysfunctional. Concentration of power in one hand has become a handmaiden of crony capitalism. Democracy needs to be reestablished by granting Sovereignty to the States.
Indian languages are languishing owing to onslaught of other languages and influx of outsiders. Awarding Sovereignty to the States will make local languages safe and sound. Rightsizing of nations will also spur entrepreneurship and innovation. So India must turn into a Federation.
A language makes a nation as we see in Europe. There should be a new country called Bhojpur comprising of all Bhojpuri speaking areas. More cohesion and more competition.
The Constitution of India is a product of history. Its shelf-life is over. Let the people draft their own Constitutions in their own languages so that real grassroots Democracy is established. Local languages and sentiments must be given due respect through Sovereignty to the States.
Ambitious and panoramic but the West is portrayed as a monolith. The same exuberance is ascribed to our culture. Breaking open the prison of such grand narratives is important since the reality is diverse and complex. Sri Aurobindo too is accused of painting a stereotype of West.
Fine but my only apprehension is that if there´s some misrepresentation. Western thinkers suffer from Eurocentrism and we should avoid that trap. Akin concerns

I speak at 10:10 as to why Sri Aurobindo should be considered seriously as a contender for an alternative political route. My debut in the MSM with a bang!

I don´t exactly agree with your perception of what Puducherry thinks or not. They have a certain mandate and they are trying to adhere to that. Expecting something more from them may not be right. It´s the academic community which should stand up to the challenge of Sri Aurobindo
Here I agree with you. In the academic scenario, Sri Aurobindo should be portrayed maximum as a mahayogi and a mystic poet. Since he has left behind a vast corpus of written words, he can't escape comparison or critical scrutiny. But informed studies should bury Nandy's mischief.
It's through debate and discussion that knowledge grows and misconceptions are uprooted. Spontaneity has it's own validity. That moment never returns. Beauty of Socratic dialogue is that. Twitter is meant for expressing free and frank opinion. Devotees of The Mother must interact
